Be A Part of The
Adlandpro Community Steering Committee Member Selection Process Community Members who believe they would be excellent candidates for the steering committee are asked to send a message to Adlandpro Admin with a short paragraph describing why they would be the best possible candidate for one of the 9 SCM's. People who were chosen will be contacted via email over the next few weeks and offered an opportunity to accept the role of Steering Committee Member or SCM. There will be a total of 9 members selected. Committee Member Implementation Committee Members will be required to attend periodic chat sessions when required. A private/locked forum will be available only to SCM's where SCM's can post messages to each other and maintain contact with us here at Adlandpro. The Mission Statement of the Committee The Mission Statement of the Committee is "Create and maintain a balanced, enjoyable, fair, community of business-minded people where they can be free to express their opinions and share information without fear of personal discrimination or ridicule." So there you have it. We want YOU to have a say in what happens with Adlandpro Community and be a part of shaping its development over the years to come. For those of you who want further information, [ Contact Me ] with "Steering Committee Member Program" in the subject. [ Go Back to Table of Contents ] New Member Policy Terms and Conditions The recent spike in conflict on the community has prompted Bogdan and I to devise and implement the framework for a Member Terms and Conditions Agreement. The basis of this agreement is going to be a fair structure that encourages input, feedback, opinions, and different views while discouraging negative behavior such as discrimination in any form, abusive behavior or language, threatening comments, and objectionable actions. The raw policy to-date is this:
Because the community is made of of many individuals, the individuals should have a say in how the community is run. To this end, I'm asking all my fellow community members like you to raise your hands and tell us what else you would like to see in the terms and give us your feedback on it as it develops. The finalized agreement will be decided upon by the Adlandpro Community Steering Committee (APCSC) and implemented into the registration process of the community. I eagerly look forward to hearing from everyone. [ Click Here To Submit Your Feedback on the TOS for the Community ] [ Go Back to Table of Contents ]

Community? Pressmania Integration If you haven't had a chance to check out Pressmania.com, you might want to go there and take a look around. Why? Because Pressmania is focused on Localized Classified Advertising. And, Because Pressmania's core workings and all the things that make it tick are going to be integrated very soon into the Community. You will be able to place ads into Pressmania from within the community as well as access several other resources without even leaving the community itself. Exact details about how this will be implemented and to what degree aren't finalized yet but Bogdan has communicated this to me as being one of the goals of the year. I'll keep you all posted as new information becomes available. In the meantime, take a moment to visit Pressmania and post your ads today! Making the Most of Your
Community Profile Have a look at this [ report ]. Notice something? Indeed. Not a single one of these profiles is missing a photo, all of them have something in the web page portion of the profile, and most are filled in completely! Remember: Your profiles get "googled". This means that your business information, your information and other things can be seen by others who are not community members. Why not add your business information? Make sure you have proper links to your website and that they work. The community profile is your face online. This is how people determine what type of a person you are and quite often to some degree, how valid your business claims are. Think about it this way for a second: You're walking down the street one day searching for a ring or watch for your significant other. A man approaches you wearing a hooded jacket, you can't see his face, and he offers to sell you a Rolex or a Firenza Setting for 50 dollars and also says he has stock that he can sell you for 25 bucks a pop and you can keep the other 25 when you sell one. How open would you be to becoming this person's friend? How open would you be to listening to more of his business proposal? How likely would you be to purchasing the ring or watch for 50 bucks? My point exactly. Not very likely at all. Though that example may be a bit extreme, it's not very far from the truth on the Adlandpro Community. You will be miles ahead of the competition in terms of credibility and profitability if you just take a few moments to carefully fill out your profile.
Use your web page to highlight some of your programs or websites. I'm not saying bare your soul to the world but sharing a personal story in your life might help make you appear more real and genuine. Give out good ratings to people when they have done something good for you. (Remember people, this isn't a dating service so it's not based on appearances). Nearly every time you will receive a good rating in return which is a win-win situation for both parties. Add a signature to your profile with your URLS. Get active on the forums! Participate in discussions. This all works towards your profile stats which makes you look like more of a professional. Bottom line is that you can never have too much information on your profile. The professionals know that it is a vital component of the community. If you don't believe me, just have a look at any one of the top ranking community members and see what their profiles are like. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. Community? These forums have been hand-selected as top forums on the Community as a result of their activity, topic, number of participating members, number of posts etc. They're definitely worth the look and a good starting point if you've never been to the forums before. Check them out! Do you have a forum you think should be featured here? [ Let us know! ] 1. More ways that AdlandPro can help YOU! I'm always impressed by community members who selflessly offer support with different areas of Internet Marketing, particularly, Adlandpro. Kenneth Sword, an extremely active and well-known community member whom I've had the pleasure of speaking with personally over the phone on several occasions, just happens to be one of these professionals. Get him on your friends list and fast. Thanks so much Ken! 2. Let's Get to Know Each Other I think that Jane Montgomery has hit the nail on the head with this one. This is a community after all right? Though it is not a busy forum, I hope to change that by putting out the word that this forum is here. I'll put down a little about me, you put down a little about you, and hopefully if everything works out the way I hope, we'll all know just a little more about each other. 3. 419 "Nigerian Letter Scam" Is an Advance Fee Fraud? I felt compelled to highlight this particular forum not only because it's a busy forum but also because I feel it's a necessary forum. Though many of us are aware that the Nigerian Email Scam is a scam, there are many many more who are not aware. This forum provides clear, detailed information regarding the scam. Well done Gavin Blok! [ Go Back to Table of Contents ] Your opinions as members of the community are extremely important to us. We would like to hear from you.
