******************** LETTERS TO THE EDITOR!******************** A RECENT EMAIL I RECEIVED THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE I want to share another email that I received from one of our readers in response to the statement I made below in the last issue of the Newsletter. Marilyn, Forteau, Labrador Canada 709 931-2025 Invest Nine Dollar in Yourself, Helping Yourself and Many Others Too Positive Cash Flow Now "The Newsletter is about the AdlandPro Community as a whole, so to say that this is a Christian Newsletter would not cover everyone in the Community. AdlandPro has a very diverse Community with people from all walks of life. Some people are religious and others are not, some believe and some do not. However, you will see forums about God or Prayer Groups within the Community. Does that make it a Christian Community? Absolutely not...it makes it a mutli-cultural, multi-faith Networking Community. I do not view the Newsletter as being part of any religion in particular, nor religious in nature, even though we do add prayer requests in the Newsletter. It is simply a service we provide to the Community as a whole." Please submit questions or comments to me here:The Newsletter has TWO NEW MEMBERS added to our Team, and we would like all of you to help us welcome them. WELCOME ABOARD MARY HOFSTETTER and MS JUDY SMITH. We are all very happy and excited to have them with us! Congratulations Mary and Judy and Welcome to the Newsletter Team! We have a couple of Prayer Requests that need to go out this time around! We would like to continue to send our prayers out to MS LISA WESTBERRY and her family. Lisa's little girl Elizabeth has a very rare form of cancer. The family is still in Durham, NC where they have been since October 1st. Elizabeth under went chemotherapy for a week and then received a stem cell transplant. Elizabeth is still very sick, but all of her blood counts are up enough now whereby they could all go and stay at the temporary apartment now instead of being at the hospital all the time. Soon Elizabeth will have the next phase of the treatment, which will be radiation. Please keep praying for Elizabeth, Lisa, George and the rest of the family and friends. We would also like to send our thoughts and prayers to Judy Hortin. Judy had a stroke a couple weeks ago, so please ask God to watch over her, and to lay His loving and healing hands upon her and help her to get better. If you know of someone that needs praying for please send us the information and we will add them to our prayer list in the next Newsletter. Thank you. Written By: MARILYN L. MARTIN |

In this issue of the Newsletter we are featuring another one of AdlandPro's poets, MRS. TRINA SONNENBERG. Trina writes some of the finest poetry I have ever read...it is poetry with a purpose. Trina is a friend of mine, and we have even linked our websites together, so it is a great honor for me to be featuring Trina here. Q. What is it that inspires you to write poetry? A. I take up my pen whenever I have personal issues to work out; whether they are happy tidings or sad ones, writing is my way of expressing what I am feeling at the moment. As a battered woman, I used poetry, writing it, as a coping mechanism to get through my daily trials. Q. How long have you been writing poetry? A. I wrote my first short story at the age of ten. I began writing poems around the age of twelve. Q. Can you tell me just a bit about what inspired you to write the poem that you are submitting? A. I wrote this poem to communicate my feelings to my husband after a difficult period in our marriage. Q. Is there anything else you would like to add? A. Yes, I recently published a book of my prose, titled, 'My Journey, A Lifetime of Verse,' which is available in paperback, or download, from Lulu.com The book is a reflection of my life as an abused woman. It is illustrated with photographs taken by my husband, of the area in southwestern Colorado, where we have been living happily for the last 10 years. Here is one of my Favorite Poems, "I Am Thinking About You Today". I AM THINKING ABOUT YOU TODAY There are so many things I know not how to say. ![]() Thank you Trina for the wonderful Poem! It has been a pleasure interviewing you and helping our readers get to know you better. God Bless! Written By: JUDY SMITH

A minister was planning a wedding at the close of the Sunday morning service. After the benediction, he had planned to call the couple down for a brief ceremony in front of the congregation. For the life of him, he couldn't think of the names of those who were to be married. "Will those wanting to get married please come to the front?" he requested. Immediately, nine single ladies, three widows, four widowers, and six single men stepped to the front. **************************Wife Wanted A man inserted an ad in the classified: "Wife wanted." Next day he received a hundred letters. They all said the same thing: "You can have mine." Kenny's Law of Auto Repair The part requiring the most consistent repair or replacement will be housed in the most inaccessible location. ***************************How to Detect A Mental Deficiency A noted psychiatrist was a guest at a blonde gathering, and his hostess naturally broached the subject in which the doctor was most at ease. "Would you mind telling me, Doctor," she asked, "how you detect a mental deficiency in somebody who appears completely normal?" "Nothing is easier," he replied. "You ask a simple question which anyone should answer with no trouble. If he hesitates, that puts you on the track." "What sort of question?" "Well, you might ask him, 'Captain Cook made three trips around the world and died during one of them. Which one?' The blonde thought a moment, then said with a nervous laugh, "You wouldn't happen to have another example would you? I must confess I don't know much about history." Contributed By: DONNA S.

* * * *THE ART CORNER* * * *
This is a very special privilege and honor for me to be writing this article about the 19th Art Exhibition because this forum is absolutely fantastic! Just to mention one fact...this forum has won the "Best Forum Award" twice now...that is truly awesome! These 3 ladies, ROSE ENDERUD, JENNY SJ, VENERINA CONTI, really out do themselves presenting this forum to us every 3 weeks. This time the Art Exhibition features another great artist, MR LUIS MIGUEL GOITIZOLO SILVA. Luis Miguel has been a member of Adland Pro since September 2005. and comes from Lima, Peru. He has a wonderful forum here called, GREAT ART OF THE WORLD. If you have never visited it please do so, it is a really great forum indeed! Luis does paintings in watercolor and a little in acrylics. As he himself says, "My love for art has never really found a public way of expression until this very moment, with this opportunity to exhibit some of my painting in this excellent forum." Even though Luis has not "become famous" selling his paintings, he has proven to us here that he does have a wonderful and innate talent. Here's just a little glimpse of some of the paintings you will see while visiting the 19th Art Exhibition forum..... ![]() "Alter-ego"
