I was trying to mow the lawn before my husband got home from work, but our electric lawn mower refused to cooperate. It would run fine for a few seconds, then cut off, run again, cut off. Finally, I gave up and waited for my husband. He had a good laugh when he diagnosed the problem. Instead of plugging in the mower using a three-prong adapter, I'd hooked up the cord through the Christmas-tree light blinker control. **********************************When I stopped the bus to pick up Chris for preschool, I noticed an older woman
hugging him as he left the house. "Is that your grandmother?" I asked. My wife asked me to help wrap Christmas presents this year, but I was watching
football and declined to help. She then informed me that if I didn't help, I'd
be in big, big trouble, so I helped. In Modesto, California, Steven Richard King was arrested for trying to hold up a Bank of America branch without a weapon. King used a thumb and a finger to simulate a gun, but unfortunately, he failed to keep his hand in his pocket. Contributed By: NAN HERRING

* * * *THE ART CORNER* * * *
I am thrilled and honored to be the writer of this edition of THE ART CORNER. These ladies work so hard always. These 3 ladies, ROSE ENDERUD, JENNY SJ, VENERINA CONTI, really out do themselves presenting this forum to us every 3 weeks. I have the extreme privilege and honor to bring to the art of Susanna Jade Angola. Susanna has been a member of Adlandpro since May 2007, and she is a very nice person. I just know you are going to love her artwork. Please invite Susanna to be your friend is she is not already. As a child she was always drawing, coloring and painting. When she married a young Italian artist he taught her very well. She has fond memories of that time saying, "We lived in Italy and painted our way through walls, furniture, cars, floors, rocks and any other surface we could find”. Susanna has spent the last 25 years in California and New Mexico and she continues to explore various surfaces to color. I love big cats so the tiger picture was a personal favorite of mine. She included this note in her bio; Please visit www.Susanetta.com/collection.html for a special offer plus a free high-resolution download of the Tiger. Print it, frame it, keep it, or give it away.” I hope you will enjoy this Art Exhibition as much as I did. Written By: NAN HERRING
