Barry Scott -Digest Editor

"TGIF" Thank God it's Friday, the common call usually bellowed out by every Monday to Friday 9-5 worker in the world. I have noticed that some of my closer internet marketing friends heed this call as well, after all they are their own boss and they can kick back and do what they want when they want, right? I always figured they could do whatever they want weekdays or weekends, but a friend of mine who of course shall remain nameless to protect his guilt, yells "TGIF" not to take time off, but to get busy. You see, he claims the internet sales and marketing opportunities are at their busiest peak starting Friday afternoon and and closes off sometime Sunday night! What do the shopping malls, stores and restaurants do on weekends? They gear up for business because they know the Monday-Friday 9-5ers are getting ready to spend, and when is internet traffic at its peak?

Hope you are busy and taking Monday and Tuesday off. As usual if you have any feedback to offer on this or any other feature please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely, Barry Scott Editor

What is the Basis of Your Internet Marketing Strategy?

By Gregory Burrus

Do you know the basis of your Internet Marketing Strategy? Can you clearly articulate the beginnings? Most online business entrepreneurs developed their internet business and associated internet marketing strategy by doing the first things that came into their business path. When money is short and time is of the essence we tend to grab hold of what seems promising at the moment. That usually means very little planning, and lots of reacting to the latest fad or internet guru.

So do you wonder what do you do when you know something is wrong, but you want to fix your internet marketing strategy? It is good to know it can be fixed if you ensure your foundation technologies such as your internet; office, voice and customer relationship technologies are implemented correctly. The following process revaluations will help you use your IOVC strategy and technology to improve the basis of your internet marketing strategy.

When it comes to the internet marketing strategy portion of using the IOVC strategy, an assessment of your website development technology will be the primary focus of your reevaluation. Here it will consist of reviewing how you use your internet tools to interact with your customers to ensure it's the best for your business.

Next along your path of improving your internet marketing strategy is to evaluate and redefine your back office business processes. You start asking yourself questions such as does it support your internal and external business processes? Does your business processes and computer systems help make your interaction with your customers and vendors easier or harder?

after that you review your voice capabilities of your internet business. You look to see how well the phone system is integrated into your internet and back office procedures. You are use to using your voice to talk on the phone to conduct business, but do you have your computer picking up your phone to solve a problem when you are not around? Does your website talk to your customer in your voice to solve a number of your customer problems for you?

The final component of this reevaluation is to define and improve your customer relationship strategy and technology. There is a saying that if there is no customer, then you have no business. It would be a shame to have a great internet foundation, a well integrated back office and voice infrastructure and not have it all support the building of your customer relationship.

No Skill - No Check

By Brandi Magill

Can you imagine, a dentist actually performing open heart surgery on somebody? Not without killing the person, right? What a horrifying, ridiculous, ignorant expectation...yet so many people start a home based business and expect the same thing. What on earth made us believe that starting a business was like winning the lottery?

The more I research successful people, the more I realize they have one thing in common. They don't just learn one thing and then quit, "I suppose I know all I need to know." They like a sponge, continue to soak up new information. They continue to invest in themselves. By investing in themselves they are forever growing into the person they dreamed of becoming.

Until recently, I finally realize the importance of this. If I had not read the motivational books, listened to training audios from Dani Johnson and gone through Sandi Krakowski's coaching course I would not be equipped to make $100+ an hour. In fact with every new aspect of life, this industry, and the food production I add more value to myself therefore growing my check.

You see, no matter where you work, whether it is from home or outside of the home, your paycheck reflects your skill level. Say you work in retail and you want to get a promotion, what are you going to do to get that promotion? You will add to your value by learning new things like how to work the cash register, how to open and close the store, better sales technique, or heighten your customer service skills, right? By making yourself more valuable and of course growing a back bone you can get that promotion you have been dreaming about...you are the only thing standing in your way.

So my question is what skills are you willing to acquire today, so you can live fruitfully tomorrow?

Common Technical Questions

I can't make banner ads?

In order to have the ability to place a banner ad you must first create a text ad and make it available as an Impression ad. Click on “Create Ad” button and make your text ad, once that is done you would click on Ad Services; you will see boxes beside your ads that can be checked. This is like your control center, if you click on a box beside the corresponding ad it will enter it into the promotion as an example clicking on the box under the “I” will enter it into the Impressions area, clicking on the “TE” will enter it into the Traffic Exchange.

When you are in "Ad Services" there are tabs on the left of this page, click where you see "Impressions".

On this page you will see six Action buttons beside your ads "View", "Edit", "Banner", "Del", "Stats" and "Deact".

If you click on Banner, it will open up a pop up that will allow you to upload a banner from your computer.

I have place the link for you below you can click on it and it will take you to the Impressions page with the action buttons:
