The Essential Ingredients In Your Sales Page That Will Guarantee High Profits

By Dennis Francis

There are tons of gurus out there who will sell you systems and formulas for creating squeeze pages sales page programs. They even have ad copy programs, templates and tutorials. If you've ever tried to create your own website, you might get very confused. A squeeze page is not the same as your sales page. They serve two different functions.

A squeeze page has one purpose and one purpose only; that is to capture email addresses. Your sales page should have one goal; that is to sell your product of service. If you're having trouble creating your sales page, think of it as a letter to your best prospect. The letter must pose a problem, state the problem in terms that the reader can sympathize with or empathize with the writer. Then explain why the solution you have to the problem is worth trying. Establish credibility and try you first close on the sale. Give more information; perhaps case studies, references or interesting figures to support your claims. If you have testimonials, include them here.

The main idea is to tell your story and get the prospect to click on your purchase button. One very important rule you should follow that should not be broken - focus on ONE product. If you have a series of products, sell them separately. You don't want to confuse the prospect. That's the easiest way to lose a sale.

When your prospect purchases the product, move them through the upsell if you want to sell them another related product. The best time to make a sale is right after a previous sale. Allow them to commit first.

Here's a quick guide to the essentials of a sales page; write the information out in letter form.
  • The Pre-Headline - This is a great place to use a short quote.
  • The Main Headline - Hit the reader with a great benefit. Pitch an unbelievably great offer.
  • Product Picture - Show the reader a picture of the product.
  • Bullet Points - Give them 4short reasons (benefits) for using this product.
  • Identifier Block - Address the reader. You are talking to only one person; the reader.
  • Testimonial - Show them that people are willing to tell others how good the product is.
  • Statement Block - Tell them "if they want the benefits then this is the solution to the problem.
  • Bullet Block - Give the reader five more reasons why they can benefit from this product.
  • Time Sensitive Bonus - Give them the link to the order form.
  • Trial Close - if you have a bonus, this is a good time to pull it out.
  • Summary Block - Project a positive result with your product; paint a picture of their future.
  • Call to Action - Give them the link to the order form.
  • Signature
  • P.S. - If you have another time sensitive bonus or added benefit, state it here.
  • P.P.S. - Give them your guarantee of service and a second close on the deal.
  • Legal Statements - Please ad links to the legal information for their benefit and your security.

After you construct your sales page in letter form, put it away and come back to it in a day or two. Read it and make any changes that you feel are needed. Don't worry about its length; just be sure that you've included as much information as you can.

Take a little time to breathe and evaluate your progress. Track your results. If things are going great, record the results. You'll need to figure out how you did it so that you can repeat the process. Many new Internet marketers fail to recognize the need to record their efforts. They fly by the seat of their pants. When sales slow down or stop, they're in panic mode. If you need help in creating your sales page or squeeze page, let me know. I'll be happy to help you. I have a free online coaching program for business people who want to take their business to the web.

How You Can Benefit From Online Drop Shippers

By Ty Wright

If you regularly browse the internet then chances are you have seen the term drop shipper. This term refers to people who sell items belonging to a wholesaler and when a sale is made, get the wholesaler to deliver it directly to the customer. This means that large sales campaigns can be run without a single piece of stock having to be stored. It may sound like the drop shippers are the only ones who would benefit from this method but that is incorrect. This process cuts costs so that both the wholesalers and the drop shippers can minimize costs and as a result, the price of the item is much cheaper.

The seller of these items can keep prices lower than in a usual retail store because they do not have any usual costs such as rent, shelves, storage, large staff team, etc. All of these costs are incorporated into the price which makes a retailer have a much higher price than a drop shipper. One cost that both retailers and an online seller share is postage costs. For a retailer this is transport to the retail store and for a drop shipper this is delivery to the buyer's house. Yet online, postage is usually a separate cost and although you will still have to pay it, you will also have options where you can minimize this cost.

So as drop shipping becomes more popular, prices will continue to go down and more people will regularly buy from drop shippers. If you do your research, you will most likely be able to save some money through drop shippers too or start your small business from home with drop shippers.
