One of the hardest things some of us have to deal with is staying motivated, especially when you have an e-commerce business. Starting out you have more than enough tasks to complete and that in itself will keep you moving, but what if you have finished all of it and are they ways or ideas to keep you energized? If you are always feeling good it ill reflect in how your business runs. How do you stay motivated and keep things interesting? I would like to hear some thoughts from our readers on this. Here are a couple of ideas, that can keep you and more importantly your business operating at a higher level. Try new promotional ideas, look at a cross promotion with another business, try developing a new advertising campaign with some some unique twist or promotion or look at other ways to promote your site through affiliate or social links.
The idea is not to try a bunch of new ideas at once but work one completely dedicated so it has a fair chance at succeeding and you will have the other ideas to look forward to in the future. One idea at a time over a long time period keeps your business looking fresh and lively and that generates constant views over the same time period.

5 Website Promotion Must Do's

There are thousands of website promotion and website marketing gurus out there. Once I've taken a peek at their site, I often wonder if they are following their own advice on how to increase website traffic.
Sure, there are people making boatloads of money online. Some are quiet about it and let the money keep pouring in. And, others are generous with the website traffic increasing secrets.
My thought is that once someone has made their website promotion vision a reality, that others should be able to duplicate that success with a proven system.
It's like any business, the system should yield success, not the person.
As I've developed my own website promotion systems and studied those of other successful online entrepreneurs, I've been able to detail 5 areas of focus that seem to yield great results in increasing website traffic.
Here they are:
1. Content - Providing more, high-quality content than your competitor(s) in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-access format will help with building credibility with your readers.
2. Social Networking - Developing meaningful relationships in a reputable online community can lead to a stronger following of your blog and/or website. I often think of Twitter, Facebook, etc as virtual Chambers of Commerce.

3. In-Pointing Links - The quality of your link-building is
your online referral system. The more, high-quality websites
"recommending" yours as having top-notch information
relevant to a topic that a potential customer is seeking is
invaluable. 4. Constant Contact - Don't leave your opt-in
subscribers hanging. They subscribed to your e-zine or your
online course for a reason -- to feed off your information
and expertise. Sending updates with irregularity is a
surefire way to lose a subscriber's interest. Send out your
email on time and at the same time each week or each month.
Make it a routine.
5. Mastermind Groups - Engaging in conversation,
discussion, and debate with businesspeople in your community
in a live setting is one of the greatest ways to shed new
light on your business development. Often, the members of
your mastermind groups will come from varied backgrounds and
will be able to show you new approaches to similar goals.

increase website traffic and enjoy a greater following
online.
