I-Age, The Beginning.Sales and Marketing? The future of all advertising will be in I-form, paper advertising in its physical form is ready to go the way of the dinosaur, Tube TVs or VHS tapes. Sure there are still a few diehards who have to read the morning paper at the kitchen table, but you will notice more and more are now sitting at their desk and reading the I-paper/news/magazines on the PC, Laptop, Blackberry, I-Phone or Kindle.
Almost every form of print is available in electronic mode, even the hated mailbox full of flyers will disappear for good, unfortunately, its successor is already in I-form and it's called spam. The percentage of people reading everything online is steadily increasing as are the various methods/instruments to access the information. Now is the time to advertise online, as this is an audience that is constantly growing.
If you are advertising online consider yourself a pioneer, this will eventually be the only way most people will remember getting their information. Being a pioneer can be a fantastic time, you have the ability to try new ideas and methods, there are usually no traditional rules or do's or don'ts and how many chances do you get to work with something new? Believe me when I say this is just the start of something even bigger and you have the chance to get big with it.
As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below

5 Link Building Tips For New Websites
By Shailendra Sial
New websites strive to achieve good rankings on the various search engines. Many a times they tread on the wrong path to quickly achieve the rankings, but they end up either being sandboxed for longer duration or lingering on the search engine result pages where nobody hovers. The question here is not about being crawled but being indexed and shown on good positions. Somewhere I read, if content is the king then links are what makes the king sit on his kingdom. This is the indisputable fact. Search engines do change their algorithms to promote more relevant results but few factors like quality inbound links always hold their importance. Higher the quality of inbound links, more link juice and authority the links passes on. Sites that have been online for many years attract a substantial amount of quality links provided they are promoted properly. But, what about the sites that are brand new? What strategy should they follow in order to get the juicy links once they go online?
Here is a list of link building tactics that put the new websites on the right foot:
1. Links from local authoritative resources - It is always better to get links from the authoritative sites which are in the geographical area of your operations. If you are a member of some business regulatory authority or some statutory establishment, a link from such sources is always important. Additionally, if there are some valuable local business directories, a link from them is highly appreciable.
2. Blogs - Starting a blog for your website is an important step towards brand building. Make sure the content you post are relevant to the website's theme and add value to your audience's knowledge. Further, search for other blogs with the related content and establish communication with them. Also, contact the blog owners that are not directly related to your industry but complement your content. Give important tips and advices on the related content and make it a useful resource. When people start noticing you and reckon you as an expert, you will automatically start getting quality links.
3. Article writing - Many people consider it as a sheer wastage of time but they are terribly mistaken. Write original articles on any subject you like and submit them to reputable article submission sites. These sites in turn, publish your articles on various other resources with a link to your site intact. This way you can earn backlinks at absolutely zero cost.

4. Press Releases - You are a start-up and have
compelling news to announce; why not tell this to the world?
The best way of doing it is to do via Press Releases. Write
a quality press release or outsource it to some freelance
copywriter to do the job. Once done, avail the services of
reputable press release sites who will not only increase
your brand visibility but will also earn you inbound links.
5. Charity and non-profit links - Does your company's
business model incorporate philanthropy? If yes, make
charitable donations to non-profit organizations and get
your site listed on their donors' list web page. These kinds
of links are normally ever lasting and pass good amount of
quality link juice.
There are many other strategies to make the new website
achieve rankings but when those tactics are not implemented
properly, all hard work gets wasted. It is very important
especially for a new website to legitimately carry out the
promotion or else all implementation run into rough weather.

Creating
Your Website - Writing Good Content For Your Website
By Josh O'Connor
When building a website, one of the most important things you can do is to write compelling, keyword rich content. Unfortunately many people struggle with this. It is really quite straight forward and it need not be as time consuming as you might think. Hopefully, by now you have a good vision about what your site is for. So, the next part is thinking about how many pages you need and what text you want on the pages.
• Required pages - The first thing to think about is what pages you need. A good website will always have a home and contact page. Many people argue that you need more. It is perfectly sufficient for your visitors just to have a place to go to and a way of contacting you.
• Sales page - If you're selling a product, then perhaps you should think about a sales page. The truth is, building a sales site is like building a marketing campaign in that the goal is to create what those in the industry know as a sales funnel. That is, a guided journey from start to finish.
• Content - What is left is to write compelling copy for your site. Good content is unique, it is interesting and more importantly it matches your demographic. Many people outsource this step, but these days it is becoming harder and harder to find affordable natively English writers.
As a result, it can be easier to take the time to write your own content. Just remember to use appropriate styles, short paragraphs and keep pages below 1000 words.
Remember, there is a golden rule on your website content. Do not penalize your site with copied text. Google and other search engines hate it and they will punish you!
