Editor's Comments
Barry Scott -Digest
Editor
Have you ever thought of your ad from a customer's point of view? I am sure you have but in all honesty are you saying what you have to offer will help them or are you honestly thinking of what they need? The first customers you want are the one who need what you have, others will come after you have a customer base. Something to think about when placing an ad or networking is to try the approach of introduction - information - needs.
Here is a break down. Introduce who and what you are. The viewer should see who you are first, you have heard this before, it's branding and it is very effective.
Secondly offer information, the services or products you offer and any promotions you have. Don't sell yet! Sell last, the customer will stay if they have a need or interest.
Needs are trickier, you do not want to lead someone who has no interest in ever making a purchase unless you are prepared to use a lot of resources which most small or at home businesses cannot afford to waste. You do want to bring in the viewer who really could and will use your services. Think of what you have to offer and then think of the customers who can really use it. That is your real market, they are the ones that need to use your services and will purchase from you because they need it.
Once you grow a customer base, you will have also grown a resource base that will allow you to chase the fringe sales.
As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below
Sincerely, Barry Scott Editor

How to Make Money Online - Back Links and Social Networking
By Michael J. Hawkes
If you want to make money on line through affiliate marketing you are going to need traffic to your website, lots of traffic. Back links are where your website's URL has a link from other sites. Traditionally affiliates used AdWords to promote their products but nowadays the affiliates are always looking for free traffic so, they build up a network of back links to draw traffic to their websites and to boost their search engine ranking. The key to all of this is understanding how to back link. If we assume that an affiliate has a website offer on a squeeze page and he wants to draw traffic to the site how can he go about getting enough traffic? If he has no traffic he will not make money online. Article Marketing
The affiliate will need to write 10 unique articles about the product he is trying to promote. Each article will need to focus on a couple of keywords. The content of the article must be unique and informative and each article must contain a link back to the product Squeeze page. The affiliate should then submit the articles to EzineArticles. Following this the affiliate should then submit at least one new article a week.

Blogging & Forums The affiliate will need to set up a
Blog of their own on their own domain. By using their
own domain the affiliate can be sure that the domain
will not be pulled down for any reason. The need create
a static introduction page about themselves and what the
Blog is setting out to do. Add a couple of pages to the
Blog about the products they are promoting and then link
the pages back to their squeeze page. They should then
add some posts publish the Blog and add frequents posts
to the Blog.
The affiliates should also search for forums and
other Blogs within their niche and make postings on the
other forums & Blogs linking back to their own Blog.
Social Network sites
The affiliate needs to join a number of social
network sites and write a 400 word article to each Site.
Link each article they write to their squeeze page in
addition link the first site to your Blog and save the
RSS feed on note pad for later use. Move on to second
site and write a new article linking back to their
squeeze page also. Now they link this article you their
Blog and your previous network site and save that RSS
feed. Continue to do this for around half a dozen
network sites linking aver site to each new site. You
can see that the affiliate is building up a network of
links. After it is completed the Affiliate should use
the RSS feeds to Ping the entire Blogging network by
using one of the free Ping services. Each week the
affiliate should add a post to one of the sites and just
ping the RSS feed for that site. If the affiliate does
this a series of Search Engine loving back links is
being built.

Things to Look For When Buying a Home Based Business Product
By Felicia M. Mason
With 4 and half years in the internet marketing industry I would say I'm pretty qualified to write this article.
I've purchased tons of software and info products and throughout all of that buying I've learned a few things to check before purchasing these supposed money makers. Which is why I am giving you my 5 things to look for when buying a home based business product... Testimonials
With government breathing down the home business industries neck, you really are in good hands when it comes to a products sales page testimonials. So if they have them and their impressive, that means a lot more than ever!
How Will You Get The Info?
You see if you know you have a short attention span like me. Buying a product that is a 120 page ebook isn't the brightest idea. Good products fit your needs but most of all relay information in a way you can understand. So if your not a big reader maybe look for products with video's or audio's!
The Guarantee
No good vendor these days markets their product without a guarantee. Make sure they have one that fits a decent time frame where you can work with it to see if it's a fit!
Vendor Credibility
Research the vendor. If he is who he say he is then look him up online.
Support
I choose to talk about this last, but it's the most important because, it's super easy to investigate how good the support will be. Which is how fast and responsive the customer service is. Ask a question before you buy the product and if you get a fast response your probably in good hands!
