There are a lot of benefits from having your own website! When I say your own, I mean a website that you have access to create or place what ever content you want on it. Anyone can produce their own website at a low cost by registering a domain name, then creating a website with one of hundreds of website editors that make it as easy as drag and drop and then finding a webhosting company to host it. You can also use one of hundreds of free websites that allow you to post your own content easily, but you do not have much control over the actual URL (website address).

Free or paid for websites are beneficial in many ways. By having the ability to place content on your site, you can decide what you want to promote and what you want to say about it as well. This is a great selling feature as you have the room to point out the benefits without limitations. You are also capable of getting vital information, such as contact information or feedback inquiries from potential customers by placing a capture page or feedback information on your site. Even if you are promoting another website you can advertise your site and have them at your site first and then direct them to the other site you are promoting. 

The benefit to all of this is that you are in control. You will know what type of traffic you are getting, what they are looking for and you have the first crack at following up with them. These are huge advantages that can be the difference between doing well or doing great.

What is a Squeeze Page and What is So Special About Having One?

There is a lot of confusion these days with what a squeeze page actually is, especially with budding internet marketers and new businesses. Basically, it is simply another name for a single web page or as some experts out there like to call it a landing page, even though this term is not really correct.

So what is the point of having one?

The single aim of having a squeeze page is to collect the names and e-mail addresses of the people who visit this page. And once you start collecting a list of potential customers to your data base or auto-responder (an automated e-mail message service provider) you can then work at building a business relationship with them in the hope of selling your services and products to them in the future.

In short, the real gist behind a squeeze page is that you want the visitor to leave it as quickly as possible. Yes, it might seem to be a bit of a paradox to go to all that trouble to get someone to visit your squeeze page and want them to leave it as quickly as possible, but it is true.

In other words you give the visitor two choices.

Either they give you their details or leave.

That is it.

So when you design a squeeze page you do not need it being too fancy offering loads of choices and other things to read as this will only distract the visitor and before you know it they have left without giving you their details.

By the way, it is okay to use video on these pages as well.

Why Would People Want To Visit Your Squeeze Page?

Obviously, you have a niche you are or will be specialising in whether it is a product or service and preferably in a red hot hungry market.

And people will visit your page, because you have some vital piece of information on there about a certain topic they are interested in or you are giving away something of value to them for free in exchange for their details.

Let us take this example, if someone was searching how to lose weight quickly and your squeeze page came up in their on-line search. And when they clicked through to it, your page was all about losing weight quickly and also offering a free guide called '7 Ways To Lose Weight Quickly'.

But to get this wonderful guide full of fantastic information you have compiled, the visitor must give you their first name and primary e-mail address.

And then once you have their details and they have received your free guide or whatever you are giving away free, be it by digital download or physically posting it to them, you can then start what is termed as E-mail Marketing. And you then start building up an ongoing relationship with them by sending out frequent e-mails with bits of useful information and your link to either a sales page to buy something from you or to an affiliate's site.

At least in the beginning you need to pick one targeted niche to find products to promote. In the beginning spreading yourself out over several niches is a sure fire way to get frustrated and probably quit. Once you pick your niche do plenty of research and find programs that have reliable high quality products. You also want to ensure that the company has good product and customer (affiliate) support. The company should also provide marketing tools and training to assist you in your efforts.

Either use a provided pre built website or design your website yourself around your niche. Make sure you provide unique content on your site such as giving away free related eBooks or videos. Use simple traffic building strategies to get traffic to your site.

1) Write articles and submit them to article directories, this establishes you as an expert and gets you needed backlinks and exposure.

2) Submit online press releases

3) Start an online link directory and reciprocal link exchange program.

Add a blog to your site and use it for product reviews of your affiliate products. Building a blog will also help your search engine ranking. Start building an opt in list of potential customers and email them on a regular basis providing them useful content. By over delivering you will provide trust to your customers making then want to buy from you.

Make sure you are ready to provide customer support to the customers coming to your site, if not they will most likely not purchase from you again. Be patient and work hard promoting your site and products and success will be yours.

Why is my credit card being charged in Canadian Dollars and not U.S. Dollars? I don't live in Canada?

Adlandpro is a Canadian company and all credit card charges on our end are expressed in Canadian Dollars. This information is provided before the final ordering step and in the email confirming the purchase.

The prices on our site are quoted both in US and Canadian Dollars. The amount expressed in Canadian dollars will be automatically converted by the cardholder's credit card company into local currency. In the case of US customers, the amount charged in Canadian Dollars will be approximately the amount which we quote in US Dollars.

For customers coming from other countries, the process is the same, we just don't display those prices on our site. Quoted US pricing is a fair indication for all customers regardless of where the country of origin.
