Newsletter advertising, what is the potential?

Imagine a scenario where you could reach a market that has opted in to receive a newsletter and your advertisement is in that newsletter. Two things come to mind. One, you know that your ad will be seen and two, if this newsletter is somewhat related to your market it should produce at the very minimum, plenty of traffic to your website.

Depending on the presentation of your website, the capture information and the details of what you are offering, this traffic should produce leads which can be converted into sales. The cost of the ad has to be measured based on the amount of subscribers it will reach and what the potential return is.

Did you know that right now you can advertise in the Adland Digest Newsletter (this very newsletter)? The Adland Digest goes out to over 30,000 subscribers and you can place an advertisement at Special Rates for as low as $15.00, however this is for a Limited Time and won't last long. There are still ad placement spots available but they are being taken quickly. Click here for more info

So if your ad can reach over 30,000 subscribers and costs as little as $15.00 what is the potential return on your investment? There is only one way to find out!

As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below

Press Release Distribution - 7 Creative Ideas

By Megan Tsai

Press release distribution simply isn't what it used to be. Many smaller companies insist press releases are not for them. They say they 'don't have enough news' or believe no one cares about the news they do have. These are popular misconceptions, but the truth is every business could benefit from creating press releases.

First, learn how to find your organization's news in this article. And remember, now is a better time than ever to issue press releases - when it comes to distribution options there are many more fish in the sea.

So once you have your press release, where do you send it? Traditionally companies pass it along to local and national news media, but that alone won't get you very far. Instead, give these more targeted distribution strategies a try. Each will make your release the big fish in a small pond and increase your chances of gaining important free publicity for your business.

Bloggers. Get familiar with the main blogs in your niche and send them your press releases. If the blogger requests an interview, make it a priority. Blogging is highly specialized, so your release is much more likely to make a splash here than in the huge ocean of national media.

Search Engines. Include a few search-engine optimized keywords in your release and distribute it through an inexpensive site such as WebWire.com. Not only will your release have a good chance of showing up in search results, its live links give your website a boost in the rankings.

Social Media. Talk about your news on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIN. Don't forget to include a link back to the full news release.

Employees. Email your news release to all your employees. Knowing about the good things going on at your company helps them start positive conversations about your business with their friends, family and potential customers.

Customers. Incorporate your news release into your company newsletter or other client communication.

Web visitors. Having a current newsroom on your website keeps it looking professional and fresh. Consider adding a news feed to your home page.

Trade journals. Editors of trade journals appreciate press releases from companies in their industry. Follow up with a phone call and mention you'd be happy to have an executive at your company pen an article on the topic: many editors will jump at the opportunity to secure free, original content for their magazine.

How to Create Happy Customers by Using Email Auto Responders

By Frank Carty

Using email auto responders for business online can be seen as a worthwhile investment. The problem many face is that they have no clue how to keep their customer satisfied and provide them with worthy information that will keep them subscriber long enough to their mailing list.

Creating a happy customer has to do with the stuff you send out to your list. The content you fill into your auto responder series will dictate how long a subscriber will stay with your list.

It is often seem that many marketers send out broadcast promoting products to their list on the very first day that they have subscribed. The truth is that you need to build trust with your list first. Provide the information that they were looking for. Offer them free videos or reports that will keep them actively involved with what they are reading.

You can even do a survey to find out what your readers are looking for. A survey will help you to provide more useful content to your subscribers.

Another great concept that you can use to have your subscribers looking out for more content with a follow-up series. Write emails that they will have your subscribers looking for the next email. You write your first email and state that it will continue tomorrow, just providing enough content to peak their curiosity and holding back the most important stuff for a second or third mailing.

At many times people would love to ask you a question concerning one or more problems they may be facing. Offer them the opportunity to ask question by sending out a post that they can reply to. They way to do this is by setting up a question and answer page on your blog.

Whatever you do, write your auto responder series with your subscribers in your mind. Put them first and provide great content at all times.

Adlandpro Tips

Some detail into Adlandpro's products and services for the new or experienced user.

Common Technical Questions

What you mean by Keywords, what do they do??

Keywords are words or short phrases that you would use to assist the viewer in finding your ad when they are searching the Adlandpro classifieds database.

For example: if you were selling Telephone services you would want to use keywords like; long distance, cellular, mobile etc…

This will assist the viewer in finding your ads if they are doing a search of the Classifieds and bring your ad closer to the top of the search if they type in one or two of your keywords related to your product or service.

This something you can do by researching what are the common keywords for your product. You can also ask family members and friends "What word or phrase would they use to find your business?" This will give you a start on some effective keywords that you may not have thought of.

If you have any questions regarding email notifications or if we can help in anyway please contact us.
