I have noticed that the most successful marketers start by promoting one business and then branch out to promoting multiple businesses. There is a lot of common sense in this.

First you get a chance to learn the ins and outs of Internet Marketing which in itself takes a little time to adjust to. Second you will learn from your mistakes and these mistakes will be at less of a cost if you are only making the mistakes for one instead of multiplying it with other businesses you promote. The third and final observation is with one business to concentrate on your learning curve will be shorter and you are more likely to get very good in a quicker time period. 

Of course everyone is different, however if you are just starting out in the Internet Marketing industry the most important thing would be to not spread yourself out to thin.

So you've decided to write an eBook and make lots of money. Good for you. But you have a slight problem.

You don't know where to start.

Here are ten tips on getting started writing an eBook:

1. Before starting your eBook you need to know who your reader is. Use a character sheet from a role playing game like Dungeons & Dragons as a base and fill it in. But don't stop there.

2. Before starting your writing, identify what your target reader fears will happen. The greatest motivation your target reader will have to read your eBook is the desire to avoid these so called pain points.

3. Before starting, determine what problems your target reader is having. Solving their problems will motivate your reader to keep reading your eBook.

4. Before you begin, figure out how your eBook will help avoid the reader's pain points, or solve their problems.

5. Before starting your writing, create a "Why I am writing" sign. By identifying your pain points or pleasure points, you'll help to motivate yourself to finish. The sign will keep you focused on those motivators.

6. Before starting your eBook, decide how you will publish and sell your eBook. This will affect the format and length of your eBook.

7. Before starting, decide on the style you will use. Do you want to use a conversational style? Or a formal or academic style? The type of eBook you are writing and the audience you are writing for will help to limit your choices.

8. Before you begin, find a system for designing and writing your eBook that works for you. Of all of the tips this is the most important. A good system will help to ensure you have a good book. A good system will also help you finish it.

9. Before starting your eBook have a specific writing space. By having a separate space, you'll create a habit of writing when you're in that space.

10. Before starting to write, schedule a specific time and length of time for writing and a specific goal. Consider this sacred time. As important as dinner time or date night or your child's birthday. Never intrude on this time. Having a specific time helps set up the writing habit. The goal will help to keep your mind focused and help you to realize that your purpose is not to stare at a blank piece of paper. It's to write your eBook.

I received an email message form you stating someone has clicked on my ad, but all I see is an IP address, how do I contact them?

Responses to your advertisement are email messages sent to you when visitors to our site clicks on the heading of your ad. When this happens, our visitor is redirected to your site.

At the same time, a message is being sent to you (if you selected this option) to notify you that a user has visited your site. This option helps you to analyze the effectiveness of your advertising. Those messages act like simple hit counters for your ad when you have no other sophisticated tools to track your responses. 

Although there are tools that can provide more information about the IP address, such as the city location, it will not provide you with the visitor's email address. Imagine your surfing the internet and simply because you vist a site someone could get your conatct information!

You should have a capture page on your site to give the visitor the option of leaving their contact information so you can provide more information to them. In some cases when the user who clicked on your ad is our registered Adland Pro user, your confirmation email will contain a link to contact this person.
