Never put off a small task!

Is there anything you can do that will guarantee success in business? It is a tough question to answer because you can do all the right things and it does not ensure your  success while some can do a lot of the wrong things and trip over themselves into success. Basic principals of business always apply, however if you can follow those basic principals and do the small things along the way you will be on the right track.

The best way to look at it is, there are things you can do on a smaller scale that will be guaranteed to work, because they are smaller tasks or projects there is a higher rate of success and are less time consuming.

Changing your ad campaigns, making your brand recognized, tracking your marketing results to name a few, will get you started. These smaller marketing and business tasks in which you focus on will provide you with information on making the best possible moves and this will add up over time. They may not always be the right moves but if there is thought behind the process your batting average should be high.

All of these tasks will amount to a marked improvement, sure it may seem small at first maybe a 2-5% increase, however over time a 15-25% expectation is possible. You can take yourself to the the higher levels of success by competing all the little tasks along the way. They can add up so never put them off!

As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below

PPC Advertising - Creating New Campaigns For Different Seasons

By Jim Woolley

A lot of people who use pay per click advertising test out various different ads using a number of different keywords until they find ones that are profitable. They will then usually stick with these ads all year round and never test out any new ones. However the smart marketers will be preparing their campaigns for any upcoming seasons or holidays.

These advertisers are the ones who are really going to get very wealthy through PPC. It's relatively easy to identify one or two profitable campaigns but it's a lot harder to generate huge numbers of profitable campaigns that will really being in the big profits. However it is a lot easier when you create ad campaigns at specific times of the year when there are certain seasonal trends that you can profit from.

It's these trends, and the various keywords that are associated with these trends, that you want to use in your campaigns. Many PPC marketers will use keyword tools to find keywords to advertise on but of course the seasonal keywords will not show up, or will have very low volume because they are based on previous months' data.

So the real skill is planning your ad campaigns several weeks in advance of any change in season or any particular seasonal event and anticipating which keywords are going to be popular. This doesn't have to be that difficult either because if you're quick off the mark, then you can often steal a march on other advertisers and bid on certain keywords while they are still cheap and relatively undiscovered.

Of course the biggest season or holiday period is Christmas. This is the time when you want to be ramping up your PPC campaigns as its the one time of the year when people really start spending their money.

Many people will be buying gifts this time of the year but rather than bid on the obvious items, it's often a good idea to look at the new recently released products. These will be a lot less competitive and will therefore have cheaper keywords. So you should start planning your campaigns a few months in advance and do some research to uncover those new products that are likely to sell well this Christmas.

The biggest sellers and the most profitable products are often children's toys. If you can identify the likely top sellers, then you could make vast profits if you bid on keywords related to these products over the Christmas periods.

In all these instances you do need a good landing page or website that encourages the PPC visitors to buy these products, but if you can do this, maybe through testing a month or two in advance, then you can really make some huge profits when the Christmas period does arrive. The same applies for other seasons or seasonal events so always prepare your landing pages and keywords in advance, test them out, and then you will hopefully make very handsome returns when the time comes.

Business Success Tips: Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

By Terri Klapperich

I want you to begin by imagining your ideal business. Take a moment to think about what you would REALLY want your business to look like.

How many hours would you work?

How much money would you make?

How would your life be different if this dream were true?

Now, tell me, what is stopping you from living that dream right now? I can tell you that it is well within your reach. The truth of the matter is that everything you desire is already here. In fact, it has to be. It's universal law. It's called the Law of Polarity.

So, even if you aren't sure that you believe me yet, pretend that you do and just go along with me for the moment.

What is the one thing that you know you should be doing in your business that you don't want to do?

If I guess that it is something that makes you really uncomfortable or nervous, would I be right?

If only you would do that one thing, your business would begin to shift. The universe would begin to move to bring you what you've been asking for...more customers, more money.

When it comes to marketing your business, it may be that networking makes you nervous because you don't really know how to talk about what you do. Or maybe, it's just that you are super shy and don't like to meet new people. BUT, without it, no one will ever know about your business. AND you will be the best kept secret in your industry.

You will NEVER make the amount of money you want to make being the best kept secret in your industry.

So, I want you to write down everything that you know you should be doing, but you're not. Also, take notice of the reason why you're not doing them.

Then, TAKE ACTION! Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Adlandpro Tips

Some detail into Adlandpro's products and services for the new or experienced user.

Common Technical Questions

My ads do not seem to be getting the hits they used to get, the ad used to get more hits to it but now there is hardly any?

What I would recommend is to first check and test the URL you provided for the Ad to ensure there are no errors or typos. You can always test the ad your self by clicking on the View button and then click on the ad header to see if it is going to your web site.

If everything is technically sound another suggestion would be to look at the ad itself, is it written so that it is enticing to the viewer? The Ad Heading is like a newspaper headline, they will read the story underneath if the headline grabs there attention. If the story under the heading is good they will click on the ad.

Remember even a great ad will eventually slow down, you have to track your ads and monitor them to ensure they are performing at or above your expected level. If an ad stops producing then deactivate for a later time or edit the ad to give it new life. You don't have to give up on an ad but take it out of circulation for awhile and replace it with something else, in a month try placing the old ad back in and see what the results are.
