Barry Scott -Digest Editor

"I have placed my ads, what else can I do?"

This is a question I have heard more than once and this is usually the scenario. An ad campaign is set up and the product is promoted by free and paid ads but the advertiser wonders if there is anything more they can do. There is and if the examples below are used you can expand the marketing and promotion efforts in many ways. This will result in higher conversion rates.

• Join forum groups where the members could have interest in your site. Remember not to go in with your promotional guns firing. Offer advice and opinion and naturally mention your site as a reference, not as a promotion.
• Offer free materials like samples, ezines or e-docs to the viewers; these can be mentioned in your ads and your site. Remember to change these monthly.
• Offer a free product for testing your website or the product itself. This will provide with great feed back and promotionally you could use it for testimonial purposes. Remember to keep testers limited to a few and change the testing to something different as well as offer it to a different group. You will get fresh feedback and insight.
• Promote your site URL as part of your signature in emails or through any documents that are printed.
• Offline ads can include business cards, print ads or posters with your site information. These are great to leave posted on any bulletin boards or gathering places.

You should always be marketing and never assume that you have done enough. The more places your service is seen and if you are available and approachable you will be seen as validated in the eyes of the viewer.

As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below.

Sincerely, Barry Scott Editor

How to Brand Your Own Business

By Michelle Abreu

Connecting with target customers is not an easy job. There would be hesitations at first before you can finally win the trust of your target customers. But if you know the trick, it can be so much easier for you to connect and communicate with your target audience. You don't have to spend sleepless nights and thousands of dollars just to achieve your goal. So, what's a good trick to connecting with customers? Well, that would be through your brand.

Your business brand is actually the main element that will tell your compelling story to your customers and prospects. It will tell them who you are, what you can provide them, and how you will do this. Even though your business is small, you will need a good brand to represent your business.

It can be a bit tough to establish your brand, but if you put your heart on it, you can easily and effectively achieve it. Remember that competition is getting tougher and tougher these days, so you it's crucial that you put your business on top. You don't just need a good brand but a compelling one as well. Now, how do you create a good brand? Here are simple pointers to help you:

1 - Put your ideas in writing. You can brainstorm with your employees or friends in order to come up with good ideas. You can even do it yourself if you are confident of your skill. Start by putting your thoughts in writing. It doesn't have to be a novel or a serious write-up. Just scribble down whatever comes to mind. It will help if you start with the first thing that comes to mind. Surely, you already know what you do and what you can provide to your customers, so start with that. Then move on to the next important thing.

2 - Look at your marketing materials. It will help if you scrutinize your materials so you would know what is working and what doesn't. Those that don't work can be replaced. You can even get the feedback of your customers to determine what appeals to them. If you can go back and look at your old materials, that would be better. Make sure that you find reliable online printing services that will help you create materials that will promote your brand.

3 - Consider the thoughts of your customers. It's best if you can get testimonials or feedback from your customers. Don't disregard their opinion as this can help you improve your brand. Even if they provide you bad feedbacks, don't take them negatively. This will help you improve your business and create materials that will best represent you. Their insight will surely help you get the most out of your marketing campaign.

4 - Look at your competition. It's good that you look at your competitions to determine how you are doing compared to them. You can check out their website, business cards, brochures, and all other marketing materials they have. Look at how they tell their story and how they made their business stand out. You can get ideas from them on how to make your brand and your business better.

In whatever you do, make sure that you put your brand on top of your mind. Let your marketing materials reflect your brand well. There are printing services that will help you do that.

These easy and winning tips will allow you to keep your company's name in the lead of your costumers. For more wise tips, visit: online printing services.

3 Must Use Tasks to Grow Your Business

By Corrie Petersen

Growing your business is a must when your only source of income is from your business. In order for this to happen, you must continually work your business. There are a number of ways to do this, but they need to be done on a regular basis.

1. Article Marketing

One of the most important things you need to do is article marketing. Writing articles and submitting them to article directories is what you need to do to make it happen. You can either do the writing yourself or you can hire a ghostwriter to make it happen. Your ghostwriter may be willing to submit the written articles to directories or you may need to hire a Virtual Assistant if you don't have time to do it yourself.

Article marketing promotes your business through the bio you include at the end of your article. You'll also be able to promote your business through the profile page you set up on the article directories. Most directories offer the profile so you'll need to make sure it's always current and that your links work.

2. Social Networking

Another important task you need to do to promote your business is to use social networking. Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook are valuable when used correctly to promote your business. It's important to not only promote your business, but to communicate with others and offer tips to your followers. It's important to build trust with your followers and that won't happen if you only promote your business.

3. Blog

One last task you need to do regularly for your business is write on your blog. Your blog is a great way to share things about your business with your readers. These can be highlights about specific products or services, tips that will help your readers, and information about your field that will encourage your readers to use your business over someone else.

When you use these three tasks with your business, you're sure to see growth. While it's not going to be immediate, if you do it weekly at the least, you'll see it happen over time. It's important to find out how to do it correctly and these tips will help you to have a better understanding of how to do that so you can make it happen.

Adlandpro Tips

Some detail into Adlandpro's products and services for the new or experienced user.

Common Technical Questions

What are keywords and what do they do?

Keywords are words or short phrases that you would use to assist the viewer in finding your ad when they are searching the Adlandpro classifieds database. For example: if you were selling Telephone services you would want to use keywords like; long distance, cellular, mobile etc…

This will assist the viewer in finding your ads if they are doing a search of the Classifieds and bring your ad closer to the top of the search if they type in one or two of your keywords related to your product or service.
