Adlandpro Community Classifieds PPC Advertising

Effective Hits to your Website

This is quite honestly one of the most effective ways to advertise. Your ad can be viewed tens of thousands of times with no actual click to your site and it costs you nothing! You only pay when someone clicks on your ad and visits your site and that cost is controlled by you!!

The PPC system works hand-in-hand with your regular classified ads, and is an effective way to promote them. You can promote as many or as few of your classified ads as you like.

PPC stands for "Pay Per Click". Just as the name says, you only get charged when someone clicks your ad, so you only pay for results and never for just having your ad displayed.

What's the catch?
You might be thinking that setting your own price is too good to be true, and that there must be a catch. Well, there is no catch. You just have to remember that you might not be the only person interested in advertising in a given city. There will often be competition. This is why we call it a bid. The more you decide to pay per click, the more often your advertisement will be displayed. It's as simple as that.

Of course, due to our high traffic, your ads will have many thousands of opportunities to get displayed each hour, so even a relatively small bid amount will get you exposure.

Posting Your Free Online Classified Ads in Four Easy Steps

By Muhammad Kashif Saleem

In today's hyper connected internet world, it is not difficult to promote and sell products online. However, when the success rate of online sales is directly related to the success of online advertisement, free online classified ads can bring you great results. They have the potential to divert large volume of web traffic to your site, which means more business for you.

The question arises; how would your ads compel online users read them with keen interest to consider buying from you? Well you can do it simply by taking into consideration four important steps:

A) Knowing your Target Market

This point holds paramount importance in making an impact on online visitors. When you succeed in knowing your buyers, you can easily presume their needs. Fulfilling needs of the customers is the most imperative thing in any sales strategy. It also enables you to considerate upon the most convincing approach to make your online advertisement content a perfect match to buyers' requirements. For instance, you may include unique benefits and lucrative offers in your ads so that the buyers are induced to purchase from you comfortably.

B) Knowing Exactly What You Can Offer

Even if you are able to know the needs of buyers but you still don't know exactly what to offer to the prospective buyers, your lucrative online classified ads won't work for you. In order to make them successful, you need to have the right type of products or services which can satiate buyers' needs. Your information about them should be complete. Once you master the qualities of your products and their relevance to a specific target market, put them in your offer and your online free ads will outshine others in your niche.

C) The Impact of Headlines in your Free Online Classified Ads

Make your headlines simple and avoid using unusual words in them. More than 80 percent of online readers only read the headlines of ads posted as free classifieds. Use of difficult words can make them run away and even if the rest of your content is highly rich and contains unique information, you might lose a selling opportunity due to a poor headline. The reason is; first impression is the last impression.

D) Choosing Right Type of Categories for Successful Visibility

Imagine if everything mentioned above is all done up in the desired manner and you make a mistake of posting your online classifieds inside the wrong category. Do you think it will go in your way? No. You post under the wrong category and there you lose competition. Therefore, it is advisable to post your advertisement in the same category that pertains to your products so that it may catch readers' attention quickly.

10 Tips for Staying Focused

By Adam Payne

As I write this post on "staying focused", I have been distracted so many times already. Some were my fault (i checked my email....again). Others were not (my wife asking if I had been to the bank like I said i would....I hadn't)

A lot of us struggle just to get things done. So much to do and so little time. How often have you muttered this to yourself? Well, much of this may be because you are too early distracted. It is not your fault. But there are a few tips that if you follow, may help you.

10 Tips for Staying Focused

1. Know your Outcome

Staying Focused:
Whenever you feel yourself faltering, ask yourself what you are doing what you are doing. Say it out loud (if you can). We often forget the bigger picture, especially if we do not see visible progress. Visualize yourself achieving your goal and take a minute to yourself.

2. Spend 30 minutes Cleaning

Staying Focused:
What? You mean i have to clean everyday? Well no, not everyday but one reason for losing focus is becoming distracted when we lose or misplace something. How often have you wasted a few minutes looking for that important paper?

Put away your gadgets and get rid of any clutter. They are distractions, pure and simple. Take all but essential files from your desk. You will feel better for it.

Do the same with your email folder. Delete any emails that you have not read but are not on the first page. If they were that important you would have read them anyway. Remove your name form any unnecessary mailing lists too.

3. Make a To do List...the Night Before.

Staying Focused:
Write down a list of tasks just before you go to bed. That way you will not worry that you may forget something. Having it on paper is also a good motivator for the next day as you have already mapped out what you need to do. Then checking off the tasks one by one will give you a sense of achievement.

4. Do what you don't want to do first.

Staying Focused:
All of us have things we don't like to do. Whether they be the mundane tasks that we do at work everyday to the activities which cause us the largest amounts of stress.

The premise is that you have your list from the previous night. Have a look at it and there will surely be something on that list that you like the least. Do that one first! Do not procrastinate, follow Nike's footsteps and 'Just do it'. You will feel better for it.

5. Water Water Water

Staying Focused:
This seems like common sense but keep hydrated. This does not mean coffee, tea, an energy drink...etc. Make sure you have 2 liters of water a day and always keep a glass or bottle handy. Keep caffeine to a minimum.

6. Get up 2 hours before your first task.

Staying Focused:
One great idea is to devise a morning routine. So, say you have an appointment at 8, get up at 6. Stretch first and do some light exercise. Perhaps go for a brisk 10 minute walk weather permitting. Then take a shower and have breakfast and you will still have an hour to accomplish something before your day begins.

7. Take Regular Breaks

Staying Focused:
You are not a robot on long lasting batteries. Take a few minutes every hour if you can. Do not do anything strenuous. Perhaps some light stretching or even sit down and close your eyes.

Or go to the toilet......

8. Keep the Noise Out

Staying Focused:
In these days of social media, it is hard not to be checking your Facebook every 5 minutes. Try and schedule some time to plug into Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn et al.

9. Eat Something!

Staying Focused:
One of the biggest sources of distraction is sleep. Now, sleep is vital but if you find yourself constantly yawning, it may have something to do with your diet.

If you are anything like me, hunger distractions are stronger that anything. Have a piece of fruit before you get down to work. It will stop those cravings and a healthy snack will energize you.

10. Time yourself- Warning...a bit Extreme

Staying Focused:
If all else fails, then allocate yourself a certain time to get something done and stick to it. For example, allow yourself 45 minutes to write up a blog post and do not sway. I know this is easier said than done but I have tried it in the past and it is effective.

Common Technical Questions

I have ads but I am not getting many hits to my web site from the ad. Is there anything I can do to improve it?

There are always things you can do to improve your ad. The first is to check and test the URL (website address) you placed in the Ad to ensure there are no errors or typos. Then test the ad your self by clicking on the View button and then click on the ad header to see if it is going to your web site.

If everything is technically sound another suggestion would be to look at the ad itself, is it written so that it is enticing to the viewer? The Ad Heading is like a newspaper headline, they will read the story underneath if the headline grabs there attention. If the story under the heading is good they will click on the ad. This can take a few edits and rewrites to get the results you want.
