AdlandPro Classifieds is changing directions!

Localized city search for ads which will offer tangible goods and services that can be presented and easily accessed by local market places.

Why the Change to Local Market Advertising?

The AdlandPro classifieds system was offering its ads in a national format, for each country. The viewer would search all ads worldwide by category or search categories in each country’s national market. This is effective for a national market but we have found that the audience and advertising trend was in need of searching and promoting goods or services closer to home or within their local area.

Viewers are progressively searching online for local commerce and companies that offer their products and services are increasing their online advertising to target local viewers. The major search engines are honing these details when they send out their crawlers and return this detail back to search engines. So in effect the advertisers are getting their ads out to their local market but they are also getting national exposure through the specifics being taken by the major search engines. Therefore the need for a national advertising medium has become less important with the data and information supplied by major search engines.

Increasing the Tangible Products and Services

The effectiveness of an online classified ad site is what it can offer to viewers and in turn when viewers are using AdlandPro.com to fulfill their needs they are returning the value back to the advertisers. We will always be supportive to the Network and Affiliate marketers of the world and there will always be a place for them within the localized market, but the need for tangible products that are a physical offering of value and services and provide an actual worth based by consumer need are extremely important to AdlandPro.com.

These will improve ad categories as viewers now see a dramatically larger selection of “Real Estate and Housing”, “Automotive”, “For Sale” and “Service” ads in each of these groupings.

Our CEO, Bogdan Fideur is always committed to improving AdlandPro.com and offer the viewer or the advertiser full value when they visit.

As always and feedback or questions are always welcome, just click on my name below.

Sincerely, Barry Scott Editor

Are You In Business Jail?

By Diane Conklin

Does that sound like a silly question? Or even difficult to answer? How would you know if you're in business jail or not?

If you feel like your business owns you, instead of you owning your business, or if you feel like you're entering a prison every time you step into your office or start work, that's a good indication you might be in business jail.

Being in business jail means you feel like you have a job, not a business of your own, but a job. You didn't start your business to have a job. You started a business to own a business and to enjoy all the freedoms of that.

So, why do you feel like you have a job instead of a business?

Leverage... it's that simple.

What is this leverage? Leverage is about being able to do more with less effort. Using leverage means you are utilizing technology, your team, and that you're setting up systems so your business can operate and generate profits even when you aren't working.

Technology is advancing more and more rapidly every day, and with those advances, your business advances as well.

Using technology to your advantage in your business means doing things like setting up auto-responders, marketing sequences, and everything else in your business that can take place without you having to put them in action more than one time, the first time. You need to tweak, change and modify things in your business as you advance a change, but once you have a baseline, it's a lot easier to make small changes than to have to re-do things over and over again all the time.

Modeling is another great way to use leverage in your business. Modeling is taking an idea or strategy you like from another business and changing it to fit you and your style and making it work in your business. This can save you time, energy and money.

You can also add leverage in your business by having a team. Surround yourself with a team that has different strengths than you do to increase the amount of leverage you have. The ultimate leverage comes when people have different strengths, are working together and are building on what each of the other team members are doing.

Putting systems in place will allow you to step out of the picture of the day-to-day operations of your business and for things to still run smoothly.

These are a few of the ways for you to get out of business jail.

Having and using leverage in your business is a great way to find more time for other things that matter to you in your life and business.

You'll begin to see lots of transformations take place when you use leverage to take you out of business jail.

Free Marketing Tactics 101: 6 Tips for an Email Signature That Sells!

By Greg C Nunan

Question:
Aside from your website, what is one of the key ways that you communicate with your prospective customers, colleagues and friends?

Answer: By email. Despite this, an email signature is nearly always overlooked as a marketing and personal branding tool.

Think about the volume of emails that you send on a daily basis and then consider for a moment how many branding opportunities are slipping through your fingers in not optimizing your email signature!

First impressions count and beyond the first impression, an email signature is a great ongoing branding tool.

We live in such a cluttered world that you need to be doing everything you possibly can to stand out and cut through. Your goal should be to show people that you're worthy of attention (credible in your field), but also worthwhile connecting with - you're different.

Here are 6 top tips for an email signature that sells!

Business up top, party down below: Place the general details first because these are what individuals may want to quickly reference. Name, position, mobile, business website. That takes care of the must have basics. You don't need much more than that. This will take up to 4 lines, leaving you 1-3 lines to party! (see below)

Social media profiles: These are a must and I do not need to cover the importance of social media because we're all aware. Your email signature is a free promotional opportunity for your profiles. From a business building and branding perspective, as a collective group, your social media profiles are bordering being nearly as important as your website in my view.

Written URLs: These have a better chance of coming through with your email than hyperlinks.

Regular updates: Whatever is fresh and relevant to your audience should be placed in the signature and updated monthly. It's a 60 second job to do it. Just think about the impact of a monthly email signature update over the course of a year, or two, or three when you have a bunch of people in your business circles that get exposed to regular emails. Over three years, that's 36 different messages that they've been exposed to!

Proof read it (multiple times): Spelling and grammar errors are a killer of personal brand. You just can't afford to overlook the basics because of the message it sends to your audience, particularly if you run a home business. I mean, if you can't get your email signature right, how on earth do you serve your customers?

Call to action: If it's relevant to your audience, why not promote it? Businesses spends hundreds or thousands or more dollars marketing their business with main stream advertising tactics. Email promotions cost nothing. Why not make your regular emails a promotion of your current offer?

Here's to a thriving business!

Adlandpro Tips

Some detail into Adlandpro's products and services for the new or experienced user.

Common Technical Questions

So what is a "Spider" or "Web Crawler" and what does it do?

A spider is the informal term for a computer program that browses the internet manually, usually to index pages for a search engine. Web spider, crawlers or bots are all the same thing. It will read a page, collect something specific about that page (what it is designed to collect) and or verifies URL links on a website. The process is called web crawling or spidering.

Many sites and search engines will use spidering to collect and provide up-to-date information. Web crawlers are mainly used to create a copy of all the visited pages for later processing by a search engine that will index the downloaded pages to provide fast searches.

Crawlers can also be used for automating maintenance tasks on a Web site, such as checking links or validating HTML code, like the Adlandpro affiliate link on your website. Crawlers can be used to gather specific types of information from Web pages. Given enough time and enough spiders, a search engine can index the  contents of the internet. This is exactly how Google, MSN Live Search, Yahoo etc...extract information and index it. When someone searches a term on the search engine all that data is quickly analyzed and produce the closest results based on information they accumulated by spidering the internet.
