Mailoop can get slow when the numbers get higher, I was using it for 1000
subscribers but it was getting slower and creating more work instead of
saving time! so for the long term there are better solutions.

 >Does anyone have any suggestions. What does
 >everyone else use?

At the moment I put together this service: which
allows unlimited personalized, autoresponders hooked into you ezine.
Currently I have it set up so when someone subscribes, they receive a
custom welcome email with the free software I give away, then the next the
they receive an offer for free mp3 and audio training files.

The whole thing is personalized(including your ezine) and automatic.
removes are also easy-We don't want to upset any one!

There are a lot of other features and you can try it for free-no obligation

 >Our list is growing really fast and totally getting

You should be able to upload you whole database up and be running in a
couple of days.

Hope this helps

just as effectively as a list server.  Expect it will work

To write ads you must be specific as to what you are trying to do ,are you

how they liked the sample. If they liked the coffee give them the chance to
get it for a discount if they will refer some(5) friends.
Describe the aroma, the taste and how it will make them feel. Make them

There is so many places giving away web sites on the net that the only way
you can make money with yours is to give them away too.But charge that
person for the information on how to build their website.Let them know how
hard and how long it would take them to do this on their own,( especially
for those who don't know html)then offer to do it for them at a reasonable
charge. You could get a domain name for them (for FREE),but charge them for
doing it.Even offer to submit it to FFA's and search engines for them.Just
make sure they sign up with you for these services before you give them the
site.(or at least one of them). There is lots of ways to use these

you get paid for by referrals).I could think of dozens of ways to use them to

Stand up for your rights Nancy ! The law is on your side !

No company has the right to keep charging your card without your

You ring up your credit card company again and tell them that you
wish to dispute the transactions. Have info like dates & amounts
They _may_ send you out a form to complete, but often these
things are handled verbally.

THEY then get in touch with the merchant who must produce
evidence that you authorized the transaction. If they can't,  you
get a refund.

Just to be sure, also tell them to cancel the card & issue you
with a new number. That way the slime at Altrasearch can't keep
ripping you off.

Subject:About Altrasearch ??

Nancy, I was a member of Altra search for sometime and
decided to leave it after they kept changing things
around. It is now set up where the man who set up the
E Millionaires club and Altra Search is the main
benefactor along with the Admin people. After that the
person renting the page may get the left over.

I requested cancellation of my account during the day
on Nov 30th and that night World Pay charged my credit
card for Dec use, even though my anniversary of
payment should not have been until the 15th of DEC.

I immediately contacted them and protested the charge
and they eventually said the charge would be credited
back to me. Not happening. I sent an Email to Barbara

for my account to be straightened out and credited
with a refund. This was on Dec 1st  and I have not
heard a word in return from her.

I am now in the process of having to fill out forms
with my card issue source to dispute the charges.

It is my advice that you continue to try contacting
them although, as I said I have not had a reply.

It is also my advice after having an Altrasearch site

Hi all!

I've been reading this e-zine for a while now and come to realize that
there are many people who have more marketing experience than I.  So, here
is a question for everyone.  Last week I joined MySimpleSystem-- I thought
it would be SIMPLE.  Maybe it's me, but I've net savvy, I've been on it for
almost 5 years, but I'm new to advertising.  I thought that it would help
automate the tasks, but maybe I'm not giving this a fair shake.  I will be
the first one to say I've learned new strategies, but some of the tasks seem
to not be as automated as I believe they should/could be.  For example, the
op-in lists.  Sure, they have a program to use but it's one you have to
download and figure out!  So, I've been manually submitting my ads to the
safe-lists.  Plus, it costs per month.

However, today I found something called and this
looks like it does similar things using scripts to accomplish the same
things.  This costs too, but it's significantly less because it's a annual
membership instead of a monthly one.  Does anyone have any suggestions for
me, or experience with either?

Subject:25 ideas for the Financially Challenged

There has been a lot of articles written about Viral
Marketing, but I just had to offer my 3 cents (that's
all I can afford) on this subject. For those of you who
aren't yet familiar with the term, Viral Marketing is
the technique of enticing others to promote your
business by distributing something of value with your
message attached. Rather than get theoretical or
editorialize you to death, I'll just list a few ideas
to get your business and web site out there in the
public eye. There are many more and if you can find
something original you are always better off.

1.   Distributing your own Free Software
2.   Writing and Offering Free eBooks
3.   Signing visitors up for Free email accounts via a
     site like <>.
4.   Creating up an Award Site.
5.   Creating a Top 100 Site.
6.   Creating a Recommend-It Site.
7.   Offering access to content from your site, while
customizing it to fit each user.
8.   Offer Free E-Cards.
9.   Writing articles for reprint in newsletters and on
     web sites.
10.  Set up a discussion board and open it for other to
     use for their web sites.
11.  Offering Free Graphics, Banners or Web Site
12.  Free Consulting Services.
13.  Free Domain Name Estimating.
14.  Free Web Site Reviews.
15.  Setting Up A Search Engine Site.
16.  Free Banner Rotation or Link Exchange Site.
17.  Specialized Databases or Directories.
18.  Of course you must have a Free Newsletter.
19.  Free Page Redirect Service.
20.  Free Screensavers.
21.  Free Autoresponder Service.
22.  Free Web Space.
23.  Use The "Pass This On" technique. Where you create
something like a humorous picture attach your web site
url and encourage others to pass it on.
24.  Free Document Templates.
25.  Offer Free Email Courses or Workshops.

I myself have written a few widget programs like Free
Meta Tags, Free Image Rollover Scripts and Free Doorway
Pages. Now, you're thinking, everyone and their brother
have these things. Well, what I did to promote this
uphill battle was to set them up so that you could not
only get them from my site, but you can also offer them
from your site as well, by using a few lines of script.
Why would you want to do this?  In the script, you can
also add your own advertising message that gets sent
out to your visitors using the service, which by the
way I host completely at my site. This makes an easy
marketing add-on for newbie sites who want to offer
free content. We also sell these little programs to
others who want to offer the same Viral Marketing
Freebie to their visitors. If you would like to see
what I mean, stop by and visit us at

Good luck to you in your Marketing Ad-ventures!

Great eZine and thanks for placing the eZine request for me. Had a number of

As the site is new I really could do with some feedback. Of course I think
it's great but be ruthless with me.

Visited the site.  Waited 58 seconds for something
to start in addition to the heading.  Left.

One comment about the heading "Ozark Life".  It is
difficult to read quickly and easily.  You have to
study it for 5 seconds.  I consider that a negative
but not a very large one.

Best regards and wishes for your success.

Seven Search Engine Similarities
By Judith Tramayne-Barth

It's true -- search engines are a royal pain when you try to
optimize your web pages for them but you can reduce the pain by
analyzing their similarities.

==> Similarity #1

Search engines do not like frames so don't use them or put in the
< no frames > tag.

==>  Similarity #2

Titles should have key word in it and not be longer then 75
characters.  Less is even better.  Make sure your title starts
with the key word if you can.

==> Similarity #3

Each web page should have a different key word in the title but
be part of a theme.  Search engines look for consistent keywords
throughout your site.

For instance, < title >Golf tips by Butch Harmon at < /title > on one page, < title > Free golf
putting tips by David Leadbetter at < /title >
on another page or even < title >Golf products to improve your
golf game at < /title> on a third page.  Each
title has the word golf so the search engine spider knows the
site must pertain to golf -- which it does.  Hey, nobody ever
accused these robots of being smart.

==>  Similarity #4

Meta name description and keyword tags are accepted by some but
not all; therefore, keep your description to a minimum length and
the keyword tag to only one or two.  Spend your time on a pithy,
short one line description sentence which includes your keyword
at the start of the sentence but will also entice the person
viewing to click on the link.

==>  Similarity #5

Search engine spiders or robots like the keyword or phrase at the
top of your page between the < h > < / h > codes.  So make sure
the first table cell on your page has your pithy one line
description in it using the opening and closing < h  > tags.

==> Similarity #6

Content with keywords in the top portion of your text.  Some
search engines like short pages and other pages like longer so
creating an average length of 250 words should help you get in
all major search engines.  Or, you might even want to create
short pages for one keyword and a longer 500 or more word page
for another keyword thus satisfying all the major search engine's

==>  Similarity #7

Link popularity.  This means looking for sites that complement
yours and asking for reciprocal links.  Be creative when
describing these links by using keywords.

Large sites also want your link so don't be afraid to ask.  Why
do you think they offer affiliate programs?  It's not just for
the visitors that might click through from your site but also the
link you put on your page.  They know this community of links is
what the search engines now consider the most important.

Besides, as more and more search engines require pay before they
even consider sites, your reciprocal links might be the only way
your small business gets visitors or is listed.

So create web pages using the seven search engine similarities,
submit them to all the search engines you can find and see if the
"targeted" visitors  to your site improves.  It should but don't
expect it to happen overnight.
