Greetings All

                                    ----===(*)===-----

Recent surprising events with Hotyllow and Myfreeoffice,
left many internet users without their businesses. There
were some who invested their money in this company in
several ways not mentioning their webpages, established
links in search engines, all kinds of promotional material,
which became obsolete instantly.

Some of you might be recalling company PIYB which
advertised in this newsletter and some of you bought in to
this. Later this company went out of business and as
far as I know, not everybody got their refund even
if it was promised. At that time, many people turned
their backs to me and some were accusing me of
their problems with PIYB.

I'm sure that many of you feel now what it is like
to be in shoes of those who appear to be associated with
the promoted business which goes under.
How do you now explain to your customers that
your business didn't deliver because Hotyellow went under?

How do you explain to people you sponsored and who looked
up to you,  that you brought them on the ship on the wrong
course?

I had to go through this kind of questions and had to respond
to countless letters from  dissatisfied customers of PIYB,
and explain to each of them that they paid money not to
me but to PIYB. That they responded to advertising in
my newsletter not to my offers.

I hope that those of you who remember this time, will
be able to see now the analogy and maybe better
understand  the situation.

Any business you promote,or you will promote, might
go down, and  the only way to get out of the wrong
relationship, is to plan on this to happen.
Since the US economy appears to be slowing,
we will see more of those bankruptcies. There
will be more people who will lose their hard earned
money and there will be more people who will
learn that having your own business is the best
business under the sun.  It can be small but your own.

On the good side of this story is the fact that there
are other sites out there who will offer you hosting
or just free web pages.

Since AdlandPro is offering free web pages, I would like
to bring to your attention this fact and point you to
the area where you can get your site set-up within minutes.

Go here to set up your free site.
http://www.adlandpro.com/redir/freewebsite.asp
You can also get hosting and other services if you
upgrade later.
Free website business model here is based on the
solid plan, not advertising. I pay the company running
free websites to maintain my customer's pages.
Although everything is always possible, this model
can't be easily compromised.

Also you can check at Freebonanza for sites offering
free webpages.
http://www.freebonanza.com/Business/Virtual_Office_Solutions/
and
http://www.freebonanza.com/Business/Website_Development/Services/Web_Pages/

Once you are  rebuilding your site from scratch, you might consider
new concept which seems to be shaking the Internet World recently.
Site Build It! is the  tool which automatically optimizes  your meta tags,
keyword densities, etc. and leaves you to concentrate on
writing valuable content for your web pages.

While most of the other search engine optimizing tools concentrate on giving
each web page a high keyword relevancy, this one focuses on developing a
site theme, but at the same time optimizing each web page for a certain
keyword or phrase. It is a tool that can work with the search engines and
not against them.

Also you can get free email from Adlandpro if you lost it due to
the  same problem.

Subject:Hotyellow

Hi Bogdan,
I also have had an extremely bad experience with Hotyellow.  I signed up
and immediately upgraded to ebuck partner, got my own domain name and
started spending a lot of advertising money.  I spent about $2200.00 over a
six week period.  I recruited several hundred people and was receiving
notification that money was owed to me.  After several weeks going by
without a single check, I decided to investigate.  I spoke to my sponsor,
who had been with Hotyellow for a few years.  He said that he was also not
able to get in contact with Hotyellow, and he was owed over $20K in
commissions.  I see this situation as fraud and theft by deception.
Hotyellow continued to take money for services which they had no intentions
of providing, and continued to lead it's affiliates on by sending their,
"You've got money from HY98", emails.  I am currently out of thousands of
dollars, and would welcome anyone else who would be interested in starting
a class action suit against them.   If you are interested in getting
involved with this suit, please send me an email @ tsawyer2000@yahoo.com.
I also have the Hotyellow address just in case anyone wants it.

Thank you,
Tom Sawyer

In response to Emily Page regarding free websites:
About a year or so ago I had a free web page with Hotyellow and was very
pleased with the service. That is until i got up one day and my web page was
gone. All of my pages, all of my graphics, all my hours and hours of work,
everything but my membership was completely wiped out. Several letters to
the company were never replied to. I never received any explanation as to
what
happened. Needless to say I don't like Hotyellow any more. Good luck, Rodney

Hi Bogdan,

After reading the mail about "hotyellow98.com"
which I have a web page with, it appears they
are no longer in business.  They operated out of
Scottsdale, AZ and as I live in Phoenix, I called
the local number which is no longer working.

They told no one that this was going to happen.

I guess like so many others they got "bigitus" and
decided why would we tell anyone we were
going down the toobs....I sure get tired of this
crass regard for having so little regard for their
customers and then these companies wonder why they
don't make it.....

You have a terrific zine here Bogdan and I always look
forward to receiving it as well as reading the comments
of the members who send you mail..

Thanks for your time.

Hi Everyone
This is a feedback for Mr. Roy Hale

Yes, I have joined the DHS Club.
I have been on the internet for several years now and I have tried out many
opportunities.

The remaining opportunity for me is the DHS Club. If someone is looking for
a serious and well built business with a strong background ---- this is it.
The Founders are Christians and strong believers.

However, it needs determined people who are not just larking around and
expecting big profits. This is a  business which has to worked but then it
works. The big advantage is the immense support which is being offered a) by
the Club and b) by the VIPs (Vested Income Partners). We had more than 1200
members upgrading to VIP in December. There must be a reason.

I have created my own training site (more than 10 pages) for my downline and
guess ---- it works. Be a Sponsor  ----  not only a Recruiter.

My residual income  is raising every month. The cheques are coming in
punctually.
This will pay for my life when I am a pensioner.

Subject:DHS Club

The DHS Club is a single line downline club.
Everyone who joins after you is in your downline.
Sounds good, however, you have to upgrade to
take advantage of your downline. This costs $49 I
think (I was in it over a year ago and that was the
cost then).

Then, you need to get people under you to upgrade to
receive higher commissions. But, since you did not
sponsor most of these people you have very little
relationship with them. This makes it very difficult
to motivate them to upgrade. I would say that over
95% never do anything.

I dropped out because I felt it took massive promotion
with very little response. Oh people signed up for free
but very few upgraded.

Dear Debra Ginsley,
O.K. for you it wouldn't be FREE, just real inexpensive as in only $100
to turn on a genuine E-commerce Website for life, which is quick and easy
to set up with a do it yourself on line utility.  When others see what a
great
site you have they'll naturally want to know your source. Why wouldn't you
like to be paid back for your referrals?
As for hosting company ads on other "free" sites they distract your
customers and you lose business. My offering is good for individuals like
yourself who want a genuine E-commerce site to sell there product and not
someone else's. It is also a great resource for webmasters who like to buy
for resell and dig the referral idea big time.

I give John's book an A ( I'm a hard sell ) I actually signed up as an

How To Write Better Ad-Copy
By J.F. (Jim) Straw

Nearly 20 years ago, I was a guest panelist at a seminar about
"Writing for Profit." -- All day long, the speakers had told the
attendees all about how to submit their written works to editors and
publishers ... what to expect in a publisher's contract ... how to
prepare a writer's proposal ...
primarily focusing on how to "sell" what the attendees had written.

At the end of the seminar, a panel of five "successful writers" ...
including me ... was introduced, with a list of each writer's works
and their individual accomplishments given.

The first few questions from the audience were nothing more than a
rehash of some of the information provided during the day.  Then, a
young man stood-up in the back and said ...

"All day long, you've been telling us how to sell our written works -
but - how do youlearn how to write to begin with?"

After the other panelists finished recommending English composition
classes; espousing the merits of good grammar and syntax; and advising
him to "just keep writing, you'll get better," it was my turn.

My answer was ... as usual ... short and to the point ...

                                "Read!"

Then, I had to explain what I meant.

If you want to be a Science Fiction writer, read every science fiction
short story and novel you can find.  Immerse yourself in the type of
writing you want to do.  Spend 80% of your time reading and 20% of
your time writing "sequels" to the stories you have read.

Today, the young man who asked the question is a highly-paid writer
... with a host of articles and
books to his credit. -- Last time I spoke to him, he thanked me again
for my simple advice.

With that said, I am now going to answer those of you who have
persisted in asking me ...

                      How To Write Better Ad-Copy

Right now, you're probably thinking, "Now he's gonna tell us to read
all the books we can find on
copywriting."

Wrong, paperback-breathe! -- The first thing I'm gonna tell you is --
after you've read all those
copywriting books for general knowledge; like learning English
composition, grammar and syntax -- throw away those books and ...

                             Read The Ads!

That's right. -- If you are going to write an ad to sell your
"fancy-dancy fishhooks," gather together every ad you can find that
offers fishhooks, fishing lures, fishing poles, or, even, fishing
boats. -- Read them ... reread them ... and read them some more. --
Don't even try to do any writing.  Just read the ads!

Again, you're probably thinking, "That's old hat.  Everybody tells us
to keep a swipe-file of ads
offering products similar to our own, then use those ads to write our
own ads."

Wrong, again, copycat-litter-breathe! -- If you only use your
swipe-file to makeup copycat ads, you will be committing ...

The Biggest Mistake Made By Beginning Ad-Copywriters!

Unfortunately, most beginning ad-copywriters take a successful ad ...
offering a product similar to their own ... and simply change a few
words in the headline, rewrite and rearrange the paragraphs, maybe put
in an extra "bonus" of some kind, and try to use it to sell their
product.

Think about it! -- That would be like copying "Moby Dick" by changing
the whale to a great-white buffalo ... moving the action from the
ocean to the great plains ... and making Captain Ahab a Buffalo Hunter
with a missing arm.  (Don't laugh.  It's been done ... starring
Charles Bronson, if memory serves.) -- No matter how well done, it
would still only be an imperfect imitation.

In the business opportunity field, one of the most successful ads of
all time was Joe Karbo's "Lazy Man's Way To Riches" ad. -- Can you
imagine how many times that ad has been adapted, rearranged and
enhanced to sell someone else's opportunity information? -- Some of
the adaptations may have had some success but, just a few weeks before
he died, Joe Karbo himself lamented to me that none of his
copycat-ads; copycatting his own ad, had ever been successful.

Do the same thing I told the young would-be writer to do to learn to
write, spend 80% of your time "reading" ads offering products similar
to your own.  Then ...

Spend 20% of your time writing "sequels" to those ads.

The dictionary says a "sequel" is "A literary work complete in itself
but continuing the narrative of an earlier work."

Where most of the ads that just copycatted Joe Karbo's "Lazy Man's Way
To Riches" ad were failures, or only had limited success, over the
years I have written no less than five "sequel" ads that produced
significant revenue for me.  (One of them is the ad for my "How To
STRIKE IT RICH" book.) -- I never tried to 'copy' Joe's ad, just
continue his narrative to a different conclusion ... my product.

Use your swipe-file the same way. -- Read and reread those ads until
you have a complete story of the similar products being sold.  Set
those

day, for over 12 years, chatting and enjoying each others'
friendship.

One day, the younger of the two ladies, turns to the other and
says, "Please don't be angry with me dear, but I am
embarrassed. After all these years, what is your name? I am
trying to remember, but I just can't."

The older friend stares at her, looking very distressed, says
nothing for two full minutes, and finally with tearful eyes, says,
"How soon do you have to know?"
