==========Why Would Anyone Want to Join a Safelist?=========
From:Mike Hills

Well we all know it the new trend in the marketing circles are safe lists.

Who in their right mind would want to waste time and effort posting to safe
lists. They are as bad as FFA sites. One posting and 400,000 confirmation
emails back.

Tell me. Did you give your proper e mail address? Do you bother to read all the
e mails you get from your safe list?

Answer. NO of course not! You got a new one, so you can just dump everything.
You didn't read even one because you've got better things to do with my time.

So why on earth do you expect others to read your Ad.

Tell me what is so great about your program, that I should waste my time
sifting through 400,000 other SPAM FREE e mails just to find your one.
And how are you going to tell me to look for it in the first place.

Ok so now I have convinced you that safelist are a waste of time what does work?

Ezine Advertising. You are sat here reading this because you find it
interesting.

Where are you reading it?               In an eZine.

Are there Paid Ads in this eZine?    Yes of course there are.

Did you notice them?                      Yes you did.

Why did you notice them?               Because they were in something you wanted
to read

Simple. You answered the question yourself. So what are you going to do about
it?

There are a number of places that will do you a good deal on eZine advertising.

www.10dollars20ads.com             get your Ad in up to 20 eZines for only $10

Two Dollar Ads at http://hop.clickbank.net/?cashgalore/dollarday

2Bucks and Ad at http://hop.clickbank.net/hop.cgi?cashgalore/paaads

So what's the catch?

All of the above I use personally. The deal is, you pay a minimum of $10 and
they will pass your Ad over to the eZines in the group you have requested. Each
group of eZines has 15,000+    -   25,000+

You have to subscribe to the eZines in that group, but even so 20 eZines in
return for up to 25,000+ eZine Ads and nothing else is well worth it.

So please do yourself a favour, stop wasting your time and use eZine
Advertising.
You know it makes sense.

Thanks & Regards

Mike Hills

From:Rob and Traci Sewell
Subject:VisaRebates/VivaRebates

Hi Bogdan,

Your zine is superb as usual thankyou. I just got this little bit from the MLM
Advocate e-zine and thought it might benefit your readers. It inspires some
questions although doesn't necessarily mean that Visa Rebates is a Bad Thing

  EDITOR'S CORNER

Welcome to this week's issue of The MLM Advocate[tm], a weekly
eMagazine that brings you the breaking news stories and events
impacting the world of network marketing and direct selling.

I would like to begin by stating the feedback I received on the
'Visa Goes MLM!' commentary from Issue #30 was very positive.
In this follow-up, I will briefly touch on recent developments
with the VisaRebates *free credit card* program.

Last week we witnessed a sudden change in name: VisaRebates is
now doing business as VivaRebates.  The company and members
were forced to stop making use of the VISA name, a development
that came as no surprise to many I'm sure.

Why the need for VisaRebates to cease playing on the VISA name?
Because there is *no* relationship between VisaRebates and VISA
  International.

There are many important questions being asked of VivaRebates,
to which the puppet masters conveniently shy away from answering.

To date, not one VISA card has been issued via Visa/VivaRebates
and therefore no commissions have been paid out to its members.
In fact, of all the applications completed by U.S. members none
have been submitted to a financial institution for processing.

Yet, those who applied for a VISA card through VisaRebates
did so believing the powers behind the program already had
*banking partners* lined up.  That applications would be
processed forthwith and VISA cards issued as soon as possible.

That is not the case.  Further, we come to learn VivaRebates is
only now (allegedly) negotiating with different banks in search
of the best possible deal for its member base, or so VivaRebates
claims.  Can members possibly believe what they're being told?

Why should they when history is repeating itself!

Promises are being made but not kept, and still the group behind
this deal continue to egg participants on.  Much like they did
with the *AtlasMall* endeavor.  For their part, VivaRebates
members, not all but far too many, are willing to buy into the
company line at any cost because they truly believe they've found
the pot of gold sitting at the end of the rainbow.

Having spent a little time researching matters, it is painfully
obvious what's going on.  In my opinion, the Visa/VivaRebates
*free credit card* program is simply a front to bring in scores
of unsuspecting targets from around the world who will later be
hit upon to participate in the company's mall opportunity.

Dare I say, VivaRebates is nothing more than a cunning scheme
to try and revive their AtlasMall vehicle.

Know this, I take absolutely no pleasure in raining on a person's
parade, but what VivaRebates members fail to understand is that
they are being taken on a joyride.  These people stand to lose a
great deal of credibility when this program crashes.  And it will!

Though, facts and the issue of one's reputation rarely matter to
loyalists who are unable to reason with reality, and can't ever
see beyond the money for nothing hype and lies they've been fed.

Please be so kind as to share this issue with your associates in
the industry.  Thank you for your continued support.

From:Tom Garza
Subject:VisaRebates/VivaRebates

Hi:

First it is VivaRebates it hasn't been VisaRebates for at least 2 weeks. I
don't know all the legalities, but according to the posts in the members
forum, a bank that issues Visa wasn't going to give all the benefits or
something and they chose to break with that Visa issuer and get another
bank. Whether that will be a Visa or MasterCard or some other credit card, I
don't know. It didn't cost me a thing to sign up and I will be surprised if,
with my credit, they issue me a card at all.
VivaRebates is negotiating to place as many applicants with cards, depending
on credit worthiness will be if you get a Platinum card and interest rate
low or a regular card with a higher than usual rate. Remember, there is no
cost to join, no cost to apply and if you get a card there is no annual fee,
and 25 day interest free grace period to pay off the balance. The high
interest rates that may be imposed are those with not good credit and if
they use credit responsibly the interest rate won't even mean anything.

I hope this venture flies, as a handicapped individual, on a limited budget
this business could see me to middle class and maybe beyond.

Sincerely

Tom Garza

From:John Colanzi
Subject:Easy Money!

Bogdan,

I've been reading the posts about making
money online.

I think most marketers are looking for the
perfect product or the perfect program.

They're going about it backwards.

Product doesn't really matter. As long as
you're promoting a valuable offer you can
make money.

The program doesn't determine whether or
not you make money, you do!

I like something I read by Joe Shroeder, the
reason most marketers don't make money in
network marketing, is because they're multi-
level marketers.

They're worried how they'll build their downline,
when they should be networking and helping their
members build their downline.

The same goes with any program whether it's two
tiers or ten. The best way to get what you want is
to help others get what they want.

If you want to make more money, help the other
man or woman make money.

You have to give to get.

Subject:Easy Money!

I am trilled at the openness of this open forum. I looked into GP and found that
there was nothing there to put my finger on. Sure, I want to make money, but I
want to feel good about the money I make. Getting money from people getting
money from people signing up for a program to get money from people getting
money from people is ludicrous. What does the last fellow get?

I have been on the Internet since 1994. I have signed up for countless programs
in the hopes of making easy money. Well I have discovered a great truth. There
really is no easy money. Just like offline, online moneymaking takes time and
effort and patience. Choose a product or service (this can be an involved
process), work hard at it, and gather as much information as possible. Chances
are you will succeed.

Thanks for all of the great information. AdlandPro is my favorite newsletter. I
like it better than my own newsletter.

Here's a pay-per-click search engine list to start with:

I personally use http://www.Kanoodle.com/ , http://www.BrainFox.com/ ,
http://www.BigWhat.com/

These look very good:  http://www.Bay9.com/ , http://www.FindWhat.com/ ,

http://www.epilot.com/

Worth evaluating:  http://www.searchhound.com/ ,
http://www.searchgalore.com/ , http://www.GoPile.com/ ,
http://www.UStartHere.com/ , http://www.discountspider.com/ .

Don't waste your time on these: http://www.goto.com/ (too expensive and
eats up the budget real fast with lower results),
http://www.hitsgalore.com/ (too pushy on extra services),
http://www.Ah-ha.com/ (has sign up fee).

These are all I can remember for now.  Bay9 and kanoodle look the best
overall.  I hope this helps.

Hi Adlander's,

I joined SFI last November and I started to have more than 300
affiliates in my downline in few days. At this time I didn't understand
why my email notification stopped and I sent complaints to my powerline
leader. Of course, it was because it overpassed 75 affiliates in one
day. Then I upgraded to member and I checked last week that I have some
6,000 affiliates in my powerline with more than 150 members and 13
subscribers. It might be true that success in SFI depends on the
powerline but SFI is really a great way to work online. Maybe the
powerline where I am is really great because everybody interacts.
I am confident that SFI will take the top position of my incomes before
the end of this year.

From:Valerie Tay
Subject:SFI

Hello Bogden and fellow Adlanders,

I have been a SFI affiliate for months and very little activity happened in my
powerline.  There were a few affiliates joining, but I didn't see any upgrades.
Hence, I was extreme hesitant about upgrading to full membership since I am only
a grad student with minimal income and USD29.95 means a lot to me.

HOWEVER, everything changed when I read Steve Pronger's post to Adland's digest.
(Thanks Bogdan for this wonderful digest! And thanks Steve for his post!)
Steve suggested rejoining SFI in
a more active powerline and I thought that it was a neat suggestion.  So
yesterday,
I went ahead and rejoined under Steve and guess what:

Within the hours, I received emails informing me
that 5 affiliates in our powerline had upgraded.

I then got excited and decided to give Steve's powerline a try, so I immediately
upgraded to full member, parting with my hard-earned USD29.95.
The amazing thing is that within minutes of my action, I received another email
notification of yet a new affiliate upgrade.

In fact, the letter from my group leader (I shan't mention his name since I do
not want to infringe on his privacy) says that he will

QUOTE:
add thousands of Affiliates under you in the
next few months. Once you understand the Parent Powerline Bonus
you'll see that you're in a great position (Bonus #4).
END QUOTE

I am truly convinced now that rejoining SFI in this extremely active powerline
is going to produce results.  In my enthusiasm and new
found faith in SFI, I have added a link to SFI's free Internet Income Course on
my new web biz site which is currently in the construction phase.  You can see
think link at:
http://site-cafe.com

Once site-cafe is fully functional, I will advertise it by submitting the URLs
to the major search engines, joining pay-per-click engines, swapping
hits and such.

If you have any doubts about SFI, I hope this will clarify them.

Good luck and happy marketing.

Concerning GD Osborn's comment about SFI and FMN. I think this is a common
problem that almost all of us share. (Limited Cash Resources) one thing that
GD might be overlooking is the fact that there are probably at least 300,000
SFI affiliates and members all trying to compete in these so called free
"Advertising" methods mentioned. (Just spend 5 minutes on any ffa page to
verify this) Unless You happen to have a "Killer Ad" that jumps out and grabs
the reader by the throat Chances are 1 in 5 million that you'll generate any
type
of response. I'm not suggesting that these free resources are a complete waste
of time however there are a few that stand above the crowd such as all the great
free resources found at www.adlandpro.com  Adland also offers a free 5 day

From:Adrian Elman
Subject:Going Platinum Phenomenon

Hi Bogdan,

Here's my response to Robert Lee's posting concerning GP in today's
issue of Adland Digest (#223).

Robert,

You are no fool and the fact that you are being attacked by GP
members over your posts should not put you off responding.

I have to admit to being affiliated with GP since November and I
have a largish downline (over 800 in my GPC and 360 in my GPAP).
Now I for one am not going to shoot at you because you have only
pointed out the situation as you see it.

I run a few of my own affiliate programs. As a support tool we have
our own forum and we have also a dedicated forum for GP. On it
we discuss the merits and the caveats of the program.

One point that has upset all of us is the enormous amount of spam
taking place and the company's indifference to it. The situation got
so out of hand that I phoned them and spoke to one of their directors
who promised me that he would begin terminating the spammers.
Nothing has been done and they continue to send out garbage on
an almost weekly basis (although the postponement of the GPC
has slowed the spam down at the moment).

The GPC looks to be a very serious concept and when launched
will make GP into the program it always should have been. But the
fact remains it has not yet been launched so all monies being
earned to date are coming from the GPAP.

You are correct in saying that we have no genuine products. I will
not accept that what we have is worth $25 a month let alone the
sum being deducted from me for being a Silver with 2 active legs.

I challenged the company as to how they could justify charging
fees of $6000+ per month for the same service that others are
paying $25 for. Their answer was that we are investing in our own
share of the GPC revenues but they ignore the fact that the GPC
does not exist yet.

I'm only being deducted $150 a month at this moment in time
but my questions is why? If this was supposed to be my investment
in the GPC then why am I paying now for something they have not
launched ....unless of course they are operating a pyramid scheme
with the monies being passed around the GPAP?

The site tells you that your commissions will always outweigh your
monthly fees so we don't need to worry about the ever increasing
fees. Sorry guys but that's total hogwash! Not only have my fees
eaten away all my earnings and those of my wife but what everyone
wants to ignore is that in running your GP business, and that means
recruiting others, we have to spend money on advertising. I have
earned $298 so far but I have invested the original $25 plus a further
$750 in advertising.

The company doesn't force us to advertise but someone tell me
how else you are going to build a business without it? You can
spam if you want but that's still going to cost you money and if
you do you are merely building your foundations on sand.

If you want to know why I haven't jumped ship, it's because I still
vehemently believe in the GPC when it will be launched and I will
see how that performs in terms of income. If it is all the company
cracks it up to be then this will all have been worth the effort.

Is GP a good investment?

Difficult one to answer at this stage. If I look at my return in terms
of time and investment today then the answer would have to be no.
I can't help but make the comparison with another program I am
actively involved with where I had a one time investment of $38 to
make for over $1000 of genuinely usable software and traffic sourcing
tools. I invested a further $250 in advertising traffic@quicktell.net
which has resulted in just over $4000 grossed since I began last
October. That to me is a healthy return on investment so I have
just committed a further $600 in advertising for this program.

Maybe the GP income will soon put the above into the shadows.
Only time will tell...

Adrian Elman

Robert, I want to convert you to The Faith

"Phase I is about to Launch..
This company is actually expected to have 10 MILLION members in 6-8 months!
(Source: The Wall Street Journal)      This is not your "run of the mill"
affiliate program.
This is a real ISP like AOL, about to be born--only with the latest DSL

They fully expect that many of the members signing up now will have 6-figure

"The GP largest advertising Blitz will

Perhaps, Robert, you have awoken a sleeping Giant, and underestimated the

I'm newbie and one of the first ffa I joined and upgraded (paid) and
got the run around and to this date I can't complete any ad placement
because of Smallbizffa system requirement to confirm.  Tommy K even
tried to up grade me again with another ID#. I complaint and wrote
quite a few letters.  I ever got a email from Tommy K, "Stop writing
to me"  I have tried to notified Tommy K of my problems and everytime
I go to email support, I'm refer to the advertising page.  I
documented every response and got over 75 plus pages (taking up my

Advice #1 don't do business with Smallbizffa...you only receive a lot

Subject:Smallbizffa

Hi Kay

I have a paid membership with smallbiz, and as much as I loved the concept when
I first signed up, I have to tell you, I am not impressed with the smallbiz
organization in general.

First off....Some tommy k guy will send multiple emails to you on a daily
basis, however, if you ever try to email him or any other support staff, you
will NEVER get a reply.

Second...If you want to change your ad, it will only be changed on your
personal page, and any pages signed up AFTER you have made the change. Your ad
will not be changed on your existing downlines pages.

Third....I know of at least 2 instances where the smallbiz url has been
redirected to junkmail.org, which really  kills any promotional efforts one
might attempt.

My suggestion....Try a similar program with better support and service. There is
a fairly new one called Adz4u. You still get the #1 spot for your ad, but when
you upgrade, you get the top 2 links instead of just one. You also get a
"feature ad" and 4 sidebar ads which smallbiz won't give you. Then to top it
off, you also get the email list of people posting to your site, a service which
smallbiz charges extra for. When you do want to change or tweak your ads, they
are automatically updated on every other page that  is signed up under you.

Check it out and give it a good comparison, which one gives you the best bang
for your buck. If you are just interested in free pages, then sign up for both
smallbiz, and Adz4u, but be prepared for a zillion emails from Tommy K at
smallbiz.

Adz4u can be found at http://www.adz4u.net/index.cfm?acc=825

I wish you well in your online quest for success,

Al Jones

Re Doug Appleby's comments on smallbizzffa:

I'm with you Doug. Tommy K's persistent emails drove me round the twist, so I
gave them the flick. FFANet is a better choice, although FFA pages have pretty
much produced zip for me. Has anyone had any success with them at all?

Subject:I'am very sceptical now

First off, Is there a way to be sure these promoters on the net are for real,
and can be trusted? I have been taken real
bad by a couple of companies on the net so far, and therefore am very sceptical
now!
Next, nobody will tell me how to promote in here, but they all say, in some form
or another, to promote and sponsor,
then the next thing they say is don't spam, ok how is this going to work? OK, or
they want you to buy their saf-list,
which they charge terrible prices for!

Hi Bogan and Adlanders

I have a commercial website of about 700 pages which I am working at full
time and earning a living, however, I would welcome any comments on it.

By the way, I read your Digest every issue and find it quite revealing on
certain subjects.

Good luck for the future

=====================Joke of the Day   (1)===============

Two groups charter a double decker bus for a weekend trip to
Atlantic City.  One group is all brunette and the other is
all blonde.

Once upon the bus, the blondes head upstairs and the
brunettes hang out on the bottom level.

The brunette group has a ball. They're whooping it up and
having a great time when one of them realizes she doesn't
hear anything from the blondes upstairs.  She decides to go
and check on them.

When she gets up to the top deck, she finds all of the blondes
frozen in fear, staring straight ahead, each clutching the seat
in front of them.

"Whoa, whoa -- what's going on here?  We're having a GREAT
time downstairs!"

One of the blondes replies through chattering frightened teeth,
"Yeah, but you guys have a driver!"
