In regards to the question in last few issues "I don't know what to
sell".

I didn't want to post all of the responses as this would be lots of
self-promotion in the digest and I would make feel bad  those who
didn't respond.

To respond to this question though, I would like to recommend

You will find there  programs with less or more detailed info

=================What products to sell?=====================
From:Tom Northrop

Hello Adland Members

I have been sitting in the background and reading your comments and
recommendations for some time now. Over the past several weeks I have noticed
that this forum is turning into a free advertising spot for anyone who can
weakly link their program or product to the current subject.

You have all learned very well. Posting to discussion groups to sell your
"whatever" is in all of the beginner Internet Marketing Manuals. It usually is
chapter three right behind posting to FFA's and OPT in lists.

I realize that what has brought most of this on was an innocent question asked
by Vivian about what products to sell. Wow open the floodgates, now that is a
sure to get response question to ask almost anywhere on the Internet. Vivian you
can thank the good lord that your question was not broadcast outside of this
forum or you would have a never ending flood of "Sure to make you rich
overnight" products and programs to consider. Just look what has happened in
this limited format.

Let me tell you what I know about selecting a product or program to market on
the Internet or in any Media.

The best Products are
1) Needed and Used by a large number of people
2) Consumable (need to be repurchased)
3) Available (can be shipped immediately with no delays)
4) Delivered easily to consumer at minimal cost.

Things to consider about a product
1) Your Profit margin
2) Marketability (who needs it)
3) Can it be shipped direct from the manufacturer or do you have to invest in
inventory.
4) Value (is the product worth the price)
5) Guarantee (is the product guaranteed and backed by the manufacturer)
6) Do you believe in the product?

Things to consider about programs that market products or services

1) Does the product or service fit into the above guidelines.
2) Is there an opportunity to make residual income?
3) Does the program offer training? If the answer is yes do you have to pay for
the training? Is this training the product? If so is there really a product?
(red flag)
4) Is the program free to join, but you can't make money until you upgrade?(red
flag  red flag  red flag) watch out for that $200 one out there right now.
Beware of Feb 15th. Very risky at best.
5) Are you looking for a real business with a real product that is going to take
some effort on your part to make successful or are you looking for a get rich
quick illusion?
6)The Truth is that in order for you to make money, someone has to spend money.
In order for someone in your upline to make money, you have to spend money or
find someone else to spend money. If no one spends money, no one makes money.

Ok so that is what I know to be true.

Hi, Adlanders

In regard to SFI, I agree with Diane Hessin:

"The question is even if every member under me upgraded as long as
all they are buying is the SFI mag. doesn't that just mean $9.00 per
month per person unless you are personally recruiting? I don't see
how anyone can make money with this unless they are either a great
recruiter or someone starts selling or buying the products they have
available on the site."

I was a paid member of SFI and referred nearly 40 free members to
SFI. I had more than 800 downline members in my powerline. I cannot
cover $29 per month because none of my personally referred members
upgrade to paid members. I cancelled my membership after 4 months.

Subject:SFI

The Adland Digest #227 is my first after joining last week and I was
gratified that it is addressing issues that are currently very relevant to
me. The new SFI compensation plan is still perplexing to me. I got my
commission
statement for January 2001 today and I only earned the minimum of $9.00.
This is in contrast to $21.00 in December and yet my powerline today has
2,143 people in it with 214 of these being members!

None of my affiliates have upgraded to member yet but I am still confused at
why I am earning less now and yet I had very high expectations. Obviously
this will become clearer to all of us with time and as I am copying this to
my Powerline Team Leader, I hope to have an answer from someone soon.

By the way, I am out in Nairobi - Kenya, and have taken membership for one
year worth $359.40 since I have no credit card. This took a lot of effort on
my part and as it is many people are very apprehensive about any
opportunities on the Internet and need reassurance and I am grateful to
Adlands for just showing that SFI is a great opportunity. I am glad that I
am signed up and I am giving my all to it. This is also an Invitation to all
to join SFI at http://www.sixfigureincome.com/free/?354657 .

I have started using  "Get Paid for reading email"  send a Blank email to
mint@freeautobot.com and have recruited 30 people to Mintmail in January and
8 of them have signed up for SFI. I do hope that these will upgrade soon and
maybe I can starting earning real money.

Thanks to all for sharing your SFI experiences!

Subject:Ad Placing

Regarding Chris Gozdzik's comment on Ad Placing and sounding "fishy".  I've been
an AP member since October 2000.  I have made $110, but I don't give it 100% of
my time because I have other projects I work on.  I'd say I spend about 50% of
my time placing classified ads for AP.  AP doesn't pay $1/click thru.  If they
did, they'd be in the same shape the paid to surf programs are in now.  (Too
many members with low pay out ratios).  Rather, they pay for "ad replied to".
Each ad is directed to a one page website.  There is a brief explanation about
the product or service and on the bottom of each page is a small form for the
visitor to fill out requesting more information.  When the submit button is
clicked, that's when the member earns $1, maybe.  There are validation rules in
place to prevent cheating.  A member cannot be paid multiple times on the same
ad when information is requested again and again by the same person/IP/host.
The ads we are asked to place are clients just like you or me that want exposure
to their wares.  They sign up for an ad campaign with AP and the members do the
advertising.  It's a lot of hard work and I wouldn't recommend it to just
anyone.  If you REALLY want to know how AP works, visit *my* version of AP
before being blindly sent to the AP signup form.
http://www.scrillamaker.com/ap.htm  I guarantee, there shouldn't be a single
question left in any one's mind after they read it.

Aloha Val

I read your article and it is sound like how I felt 4 1/2 months ago.
And I still feel the same way.

Been a newbie reading most of the articles here at Adland, like
everybody else, I don't feel too bad.

I do belong to SFI and joined many many affiliate/partner programs.
I do lots of advertising on the FFA circuit.  It does get tiresome
and frustrated.  Somebody said, "don't give up"   Yes, I have told
myself to hang in there.

I just found a good advertising site and it advertise your ad/URL
automatically.  I found a few of these...but with a low budget...
$49 for six months, which comes to $8.17 a month did sound
reasonable.  I took a chance and finally getting a few results (couple
of days now).

It advertise my 3 ad and 3 URL...3 times a day to hundreds of FFA
site.  And your can change your ad and URL anytime.  What I love
about this deal is that you do not get any "junk email" response.
You get a stat showing you the numbers of hits and email address.
You can subscribe, if interested at:

http://megaresponse.com/o?pp&72501

Now I'm spending less time advertising and working on auto
responders. Something new for me.

You can check my site for their URL at: (don't mind my site, after
reading adland and checking their sites. I'm ready to make another
one)

Subject:Low advertising budget

Hi Val

if you are running on a low budget, I would suggest starting off with free ezine
advertising, followed by low cost advertising in one (or more) of the "2 buck an
ad" type programmes.

For details of many of these resources, visit my Ezine Resource Centre, where
you will find details of ezines that accept free advertising and of the low cost
advertising programmes.
<http://DevelopYourWebSiteAndYourself.com/ezrc/ezineresources.htm>

Also you can post on many free advertising sites, (including the excellent
Adland site) by visiting my advertising links page at
<http://DevelopYourWebSiteAndYourself.com/links.html>

If you have a web site, try one of the many pay-per-click search engines (I
would recommend goto.com, and/or bay9.com)

Finally, if you are thinking of building  a web site to promote your affiliate
programmes, you really must read Ken Evoy's Affiliate Masters course. This is a
free, but very thorough 5 day email course. I can guarantee that you will get a
great deal out of it. Send an email to

Subject:http://www.twelveaway.com/

Hello Bogdan,

Two quick responses to the latest great issue.

From:Hugh Williams
Subject:http://www.twelveaway.com/

I had great success promoting this too, when I did.  Feeding off the
"millionaire" frenzy, the site has a great concept, BUT where is the money
coming from?  When I really looked at that, I was forced to write the
following to my Secrets for Success ezine readers:

Meanwhile, some disturbing rumours are beginning to
circulate about the TwelveAway site.  Seems there is now
a persistent rumour that they will never be a real site.
The theory goes like this.

"Lets build a site.  Offer money for referrals to be paid
in the future.  Then lets throw up a bunch of affiliate
programs on a page and offer more money if folks will join
those.  Lets make the initial payment attractive, say $5.
THEN, lets put the affiliate program payments in our pockets
. . . and simply walk away, never paying out a penny."

IF you have a sizeable check due from these guys, do NOT
count on it yet.  Don't put it into your budget as a sure
thing. It is not.  I hope checks come.  I like the concept.
I know they could attract the visitors/players, and I think
greed would make lots of us "go for it" and lose, so that
they will not really be paying out that much, but there is
reason to be cautious.

These guys just put up their FAQs and make it clear that
they are under NO OBLIGATION to do or provide anything to
you and I, including offer the game they promise.  Keep that
in mind.

Still tell your friends and family about this program. Keep
a link on your web sites.  However, if I was you, I would NOT
spend a dime to promote the program until you see actual
money from it.

Sincerely,
Chris Kilian

From:Chris Kilian
Subject:http://www.thepayline.com

From:Diane Hessin
Subject:http://www.thepayline.com

Here are the thoughts I shared with my readers about the PayLine:

The PayLine is coming. The PayLine is coming.  Did you know
that if you join the PayLine now, you will get gobs of money
and air miles for free? Quoting now from their information,
"The PayLine utilizes a radical system that rewards you based
on how fast you can make a decision, and how many members you
refer. . . The instant you enrol, we mark the Year, Month,
Day, Hour, Minute and Second of your entry. From that instant,
every single new member who enrols worldwide adds one mile to
your air miles account."  WOW, better get in real quick, right?

WAIT.  Go read where the money goes.  You can join this deal
for free. I did, but to really participate I have to enrol two
others and PAY a one time $200 fee within days of the time this
site goes live.  Where does that money go?

Quoting from the site again:

"Referring two active members qualifies you for 60 days of earnings
that's up to $30,000. In order to increase the number of days you
are able to earn cash, you simply continue to refer new members.
For every additional active member you refer, The PayLine will
extend your earning time by 30 days."

WOW, Jr. gets an 1st class education after all? :-) Maybe, keep
reading from the "How to receive cash" page:

"To maintain the integrity of the company, a 50% maximum commission
rule has been established, which applies to the total commissions
paid out on any given day. For example, if 100 new members enrolled
today, The PayLine receives total gross membership revenue of $20,000,
of which a maximum of 50% ($10,000) is allocated towards cash rewards.

If 10 members were qualified to earn commissions, then each one would
receive $500, because the total commissions ($5,000) would be under
the 50% cap. If 20 members were qualified to earn commissions, then
each would still receive $500, because the total commissions ($10,000)
are still under the 50% cap. However, if 25 members were qualified to
earn commissions, then the $500 per-person total ($12,500) would exceed
the 50% maximum. In this case, The PayLine would divide the $10,000
maximum payout equally among the 25 members, giving each member $400
that day."

Translation?  If you are NOT ALREADY a member of this organization,
and you join anyway, and you give them $200, then you should wrap your
head with cellophane and your body with cardboard because that is
exactly the way a big sucker looks. :-) Why?

They had 18,000 members last time I looked, with 1200+ new members
for the day.  How many of those first-adopters do you have to wait
to go through their earning period before you get to join in? Or
if everyone joins at once, how many of your fellow members will
you be sharing that maximum payout with? Too many.

True, you DO get air miles on airlines you have heard of with this
deal.  True, their example tells what happens if only a 100 join,
but this one just looks fishy.

Since I wrote that, I have heard, but not gone to peek at a web
site that tracks "scams", and this site is now listed.

Best bet.  Keep your $200 in your pocket and spend it when
you see a real opportunity.

Sincerely,
Chris Kilian

From:Joe Reinbold
Subject:http://www.thepayline.com

Hi Everyone,
from Joe Reinbold, Publisher, http://www.homebizlink.com

I can't agree more with the previous posts regarding the
Payline. I too have emailed my entire downline and advised
them that it is to risky and there are many unanswered
questions.Over 100,000 people have signed up and could
send in $200 and ThePayline.com at this point has the
potential of receiving over 20 million dollars in cashier's
checks and money orders (The only thing they will accept).

As indicated previously, our checks show the address listed
at the site contact page in Palm Harbor, Florida is a retail
business called the Post Net which deals in mailbox
rental/forwarding and other business services. The Suite or
PMB 121 is a box number. So at this point we know the company
is not located at that address and in our questions to Mr. Robles
requesting the actual location of the company he skirted the
issue and failed to answer the question. The telephone number
that gives the recorded opportunity message is in Wichita, Kansas.

I sent additional questions regarding why they don't have a live
email address for members to ask questions, where the company
was actually located, is there going to be any advertising materials
(banners & ads) available for members to promote the offer. Robles
sent me back an answer which didn't answer any of the questions.
His reason was that he was getting too many emails with too many
questions.

They claim that they can pay up to $500 a day to enrolled members
who have referred two others. I don't claim to be a math major but if
you take a number like 10,000 enrolled members at $200 each it
equals $2 million. Now if all 10,000 had qualified and enrolled, it
would appear from their calculations that 9,900 could get paid.
Well 9,900 times $500 equals $4,995.000! Where does the rest of
the money come from? And that is without paying for any airline
tickets for members. It could only happen in my opinion if thousands
of people keep signing up and enrolling. So it would appear that
this is only a short term operation. They have indicated that they
will putting together a customer service office in March. That seems
kind of late to me. They could be gone by then.

From:Tom Falco
Subject:Safe opt-in email lists

I have to agree with Rina Chen: there is no safe opt-in
email list for advertising and anyone who thinks they
aren't spamming is totally wrong.

I think the only safe way is through ezines and newsletters.
These are the only things that people honestly will opt-in
to receive and if the content isn't up to their liking, they
are very quick to unsubscribe.

I find it totally moronic and stupid to think that people actually
are signing up to receive more email daily -- email ads!
AllAdvantage went under recently due to the fact that people
are sick and tired of ads all over the internet.

If anyone out there is purchasing lists then they are being fools.
People DO NOT opt to receive ads in email. Especially the porno
and bogus MLM programs that are the most prevalent.

When I receive the same ad from the same person
in every single one of my pop up accounts, I know
that is spamming. I don't opt-in for advertisements
and I don't think 99% of internet users do either, unless
they are tricked or confused at the time. When I purchase
at a flowers.com place or books.com place, they are quick
to place me on their list and constantly send me reminders
like "it's Valentine's Day", etc. And I find this totally
intrusive. And they are legit businesses!

Do you think that total strangers spamming people will
bring results? Do you think most people with brains are
going to give business to spammers who out of the blue
invaded their privacy?

I have called some spammers and been told, "I bought
a list. I paid 30 cents per email name." And my response
is: "Well 20 of those email addresses were mine, and all
20 have been deleted, so you just lost $6.00 on me alone
and you have been reported to your ISP on top of that!"

Some crooks actually harvest email addresses and sell
them. That is a major problem if you have ever tried to do
business with an AOL member.

Their email addresses are so easy to harvest that they (the
AOL members) actually delete almost everything they receive
without even reading the subject line, I have talked about this
before of how our marketing ezine is being deleted out of sheer
frustration on their parts, due to spammers.

Spammers and list harvesting, is totally unprofessional and
really not a good business decision. Most spammers are new
and think that this is the way to go, but in turn, all they are
doing is alienating their potential customers. People have
written in this very ezine about how to harvest mailings, just
last issue, Adrian Elman was promoting something where
you actually are told on the home page that you can harvest
email addresses with his program!

Maybe it's just me, maybe I get offended when I hear the
term "harvest". It just bothers me and puts up a red flag.

That's all I have to say! Hope it wasn't too long winded.

Tom Falco

Hey Orlan,

You ARE learning, as you HAVE learned the FFA sites AREN'T working are they??
Many of us have to LEARN that one the hard way.  I did too.

I don't know what your product is, but you have to make sure it is a desired
product. Once you conquer that, then you have to know how to properly *market*
it on the net.  You need to find *YOUR* consumers.  The best way to do this is
to do an ezine on your product, do a free ezine that accepts free ads, that will
bring in extra people that may have not originally been interested in your
products, but being they are your subscribers, some will give it a try.  Then
post ads in Adland Pro and other free classifieds advertising your free ezine in
your market, be sure to include you accept free ads your advertising.  An
example is,  if you sell a pet product, advertise your free ezine in pet
sections of the free classifieds.  This will bring you, YOUR consumers for your
product.

I personally try to help people with their markets too with my website and my
ezine.  I run an ezine that offers tidbits in unlimited genres, (except for porn
and such).  My title is Village of Tidbits, so I name the categories villages.
I let some people (it depends on your product) run those villages for me,
sending me tidbits in their area of their market for my bi-monthly ezine, giving
them FREE ad exposure, and if your market doesn't compete with any net
businesses I am in, I will also link you to the website.  This gives you the
opportunity to *talk about* your product to my subscribers, and some will
respond after *listening* to you by reading what you sent me, that I plugged in
the ezine for you.  Let me know if you would be interested in doing this.  I
love to help people reach their markets.

Orlan, I hope this helps.  If you have any more questions, feel free to email @
seqkat@mindspring.com.  If you're interested in running your market, as a
village at my site just click here http://www.villageoftidbits.bigstep.com/ then
click on YourVillageville for more details.  I wish you the best of success in
your business!  Don't give up, Orlan!

In His Joy,
Seqkat

From:Valerie Tay
Subject:I'm wondering if thousands of other people aren't wondering also

Dear Bogdan and all Adlanders,

First, I want to apologise if my post on issue #225 has offended anyone.
I admit that I did not read SFI's rules carefully and I was too rash in
seconding Pronger's suggestion.  Needless to say, I feel apologetic about
my post, but I am sure Pronger did not flout SFI's policies on purpose.

My post, this time round, is to make some comments on Orlan Hall's remark
regarding the rationale of making money through programs that ask you to
"sign up and offer others to sign up, to offer others to sign up".  I understand
that from a certain perspective, this does look ludicrous, especially since
the ongoing process of earning money from a growing downline makes us wonder
"what will the last person get".  In fact, this issue has already been raised
by Robert Keating in Adland's issue #224.

Although I am not familiar with a lot of make money programs on the internet,
I guess many of them perpetuate the idea of scam because there is really
NO products or services that they are offering beside asking people to pay
and sign up as members.

However, there are some companies that DO offer REAL products for sales
and in such cases, their affiliate programs become an effective way for
them to increase the exposure of their websites and hence sell more of their
products.  For example, beside running a successful affiliate and member
program, SFI has over 400 REAL products for sale in their exclusive catalog.
By offering members the benefit of earning commissions through referring
new members (i.e., affiliates who joined for free and later upgraded to
members), SFI is effectively paying people to send more people to their
websites, and so creating a greater exposure for their products.  With SFI's
current growth of over 30,000 new affiliates per month (over 1,000 per day),
wouldn't this make a difference to their products sales?

In this sense, the SFI program is a win-win situation:  The company wins
because it earns money through increased products sales, and from members
joining; the members win through earning commissions from new member referrals
and products sales.  Of course, the affiliates win too since they make a
commission on every product they sell.  So you see Orlan, there is indeed
a legitimate business model and logical rationale behind some home business
programs.  Therefore, even if a lot of programs on the internet look like
scams, there are also legitimate business opportunities around which shouldn't
be discredited because of a proliferation of unrealistic get-rich-quick
schemes.

Of course, this is only my two-cents worth and if I somehow grasp the concept
wrongly, I will appreciate corrections from any of you.  Thank you.

Valerie Tay

Subject:Great way to shorten your tracking URL

Dear Adlanders,

Here's a great way to shorten your tracking URL. Your server
should support Server Side Includes (SSI) though.

Suppose your tracking URL is something like this...

http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/tracker/tk.cgi?CODE

Your can shorten it to...

http://www.yourdomain.com/t/?CODE

as follows...

Create a file index.shtml in a directory named "t" or any
name for that matter. Include the following code in the
file...

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;
url=http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/tracker/tk.cgi?<!--#echo
var="QUERY_STRING" --></head>">
</html>

That's it!

To track any campaign just include the respective code in
the query string. Like this...

http://www.yourdomain.com/t/?CODE3

Happy tracking!

Subject:Google getting tough.

Which expert do you listen to? For me, I find that I must first experience this
virtual world to begin to understand what the experts are talking about. Search
engines. Are they really the traffic drivers that we read about so widely? I
think they probably are, in the sense that if your URL is there it (may) send
the visitors that come while you are asleep - the ones you have already done the
work to attract. But they (the engines) are not the "System Lords" they would
like to be and promote themselves as - the value of the listings needs to be
seriously questioned.

Let me give you an example. I am currently working as a Guide at Freebonanza,
researching and writing links and comment to the database for a number of site
categories. I initially used Google extensively - I would do my keyword search,
save the first 10 pages of search results and then visit all the links, entering
the database as I surfed. I found that it was not unusual for seven out of 10
results on a page to be either, irrelevant to the search terms, dead links - or
rubbish. So it does not surprise me in the least that Google is getting tough.
They need to, it is a mess! .

So, a clean up by Google - how? For a start, listings will be biased against
automated URL submissions and against repeated submissions. Some suggest posting
no more than 5 URL's a day to Google.

...my opinion.......
Submit manually to the top 10 search engines, take the time to read their
guidelines for submission. Make certain that each page you submit within a site
has unique references - eg not all of the same Titles and Meta Tags. Make sure
you are able to measure and identify where your traffic is coming from - good
stats are essential. Check the Meta Tags of the top 5 results and duplicate
them - making sure that you have reference in your content. Revisit regularly,
fine-tune.

If you want to look more deeply into this, I suggest you look at:
http://www.imakenews.com/stringex/e_article000014706.cfm?x=5986,503961

But keep in mind that this article, in reality, is something of an apology to
users/owners of Web Position Gold submission software - however, the article is
informative and to my mind accentuates the potential there is for traffic damage
if you get on the wrong side of any search engine, and reward if you get it
right.

Subject:This is my first post to any E-news letter

Dear Bogdan,

This is my first post to any E-news letter. I felt constrained to write
to you. I've been subscribed to Adland Digest for the last one and half
years now. I'd never read whole portion of the Digest ( which I regret
for doing so) until one day I read top to bottom of the digest.
Then I realised that I must have been insane for not reading such a high
quality Digest. Now I never skip any line of the Digest and wait
eagerly for the new issue to come.

I most admit that Adland has been a good mentor and advisor to me. It
has been teaching me a lot about Network marketing. I like particularly
the discussion section where any subscribers can get the valued answers
and views for his/her questions from all those willing fellow
subscribers.

I joined SFI some weeks ago but haven't upgraded my position. But after
reading all those post on SFI have made me confident about the company
and I'm soon upgrading my position. Thanks to all those subscribers
who's posted their sincere views and comments on SFI.

By the way, I've been receiving several invitations to join Skybiz.com
and rhinocity.com
from my friends in the USA. I would appreciate comments and views on
these two companies.

I'll never cease reading Adland Digest.

Subject:ProMoneyMail.com

In the 2.9.01 issue of Adland Digest, Johanne Alarie recommended
ProMoneyMail.com.  I signed up as a free member under this person.  This outfit
is a joke.  It says you can Mail to the entire new members Pro Money Mail
database daily.  Sure, that's what the signup page says, but once you login to
your admin page to actually do it, it says WEEKLY.  One other point they
advertise is Mail to all new members in the directory database daily.  Ok, that
one is daily, but you know what it is?  It's FFA submission, there is no mailing
at all!  Well, sort of there is because when I was finished I was the one that
got blasted with tons of "thank you for posting" emails.

I got one lame email from http://www.thewebmasters.ca saying I owed them $30 for
using their submission service!  "As our service is used without prior
authorization you will be billed an additional $30.00 for use of it.  If you can
supply us with the Url (Internet Address) of the site you submitted from, we
would be happy to bill them directly."

Free or not, I deleted my account.  I figured it would be like an opt-in mailing
list where you could go to a site, fill out a form and submit to the mailing
list very safely without anyone knowing your address unless you gave it in your
ad.  Well, it wasn't.  Now all of these FFA sites have my email address (junk
account or not), this company is very misleading.

Subject:GOOD web hosting

Hello,
I have been a subscriber and sometimes poster for quite a while now
and I have a question that the other readers might be able to answer. I am
looking for GOOD web hosting. I would prefer it to be free or hosting in
exchange for advertising. I know there are quite a few out there. I
currently have Freeservers and they are okay except for one big thing-they
do not support Front Page Extensions.  I would like to use Front Page for
everything from design, forms creation and posting, and maintenance. I need a
hosting service that will do that.  There are some that charge a fee to
transfer the domain name. I don't understand that, I thought I owned it and
could choose who I wanted to host it. Any help on this subject would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Teresa

=====================Joke of the Day   (1)===============

Three weeks after her wedding day, Joanna called her
minister.  "Reverend," she wailed, "John and I had a
DREADFUL fight!"

"Calm down, my child," said the minister, "it's not half as bad
as you think. Every marriage has to have its first fight!"

"I know, I know!" said Joanna. "But what am I going to do with
the BODY?"
