================== Word from publisher ====================

Greetings All

Welcome  270 new subscribers who joined list since last mailing.

                                    ----===(*)===-----

In the last two issues I've talked about a new program I developed and this
is the continuation. You can review my first writing here.
http://www.adlandpro.com/archives/279.htm
and second here
http://www.adlandpro.com/archives/280.htm

These below are free components of this new program which
we call Adlandpro Gold Member.

1. One monthly submission for your ad to over 300,000 directories,
    (Value of $15 USD).
2. One renewable ad on our site. Your ad is always on the top
of the searches, it has bolded heading and  it is displayed on
the yellow background, ($5 USD per month).
Try this search to see an example.
    http://www.adlandpro.com/SiteSearch.asp?key=lose
3. Successful Minisites E-Book with resell rights (Value $75.95 USD).
4. (This is new). Each month you will get 3,000 free impressions added
to your account, for your ads to be displayed on the top of our pages,
    (Value of  $15 USD).

and these are the benefits of this new program available to Gold  Members only.

1. Your own Advertising Network
2. Quality newsletter with your name and your ads in it.
3. Url tracking software, to measure your promotional efforts.
4. Value added services, otherwise offered for a fee to regular visitors.
5. Soon free autresponder software included.

I already discussed point 1) and 2) and  4).

Now I will  show you how you can easily produce  income of
$10,000 - $30,000  per year, by promoting this program and at the same
time building your own promotional network and leads.

If you sell 100 memberships over the year and all these new members
stay for a year, your income will be around $10,000 US. Imagine now
that you would sell 300 such memberships, this would convert to $30,000
a year! And guess what, after a year, most of these members will stay
because they are now totally dependent on these tools. You
will still earn substantial income even if you don't sponsor any
new members at all. Do the math and make your choice.

We are giving away  4 promotional concept of total value of  $35
to you Bogdan for free so you can try it out.
And this will be repeated once every month as long as you stay our member.
Just for applying you will get 1000 FREE advertising credits and if you come
to me after a month and tell that all this was not worth it, I will refund you
your
money. In addition just subscribing  three new members will give you this
program free.

Try it here

These are real services which we offer and they work.

=================I would like the honest opinion=====================
From:Andy Sparks

I would like the honest opinion of the members of the digest about my Real
Estate for Sale by Owner web site. http://www.yourrealestateforsale.com

Sales are flat as a pancake and I have lowered my prices.  The new prices are
very recent but early results are basically unchanged.  I have also increased my
affiliate commissions to 50% with little or no result.

I am considering one of two options but am wide open to another idea.

I am almost finished with a real estate ebook.  It is about 20 chapters and will
be for sale at Amazon.com.  The ebook is based upon my experience with rental
properties and from selling real estate since 1989.

I plan to add value to the real estate ad offering by including the ebook with
an ad purchase.  Also If they buy the ebook, I will give them a free real estate
for sale ad at Your Real Estate for Sale.com

The other option I am considering is giving free ads and generating income from
ad serving and sales of my ebook.

Members can post their opinions to the digest or email me at andy@967andy.com

Thanks
Andy Sparks

G'day from Sydney again fellow Adlanders.
I just thought you might be interested in some basic Webpage design
and FTP Tutorials available from my Webmistress's site at
http://www.mousebytes.com. Verlie makes it all look simple.
For the Webpage Tutorial just click on the box in the right-hand column
on the homepage, and for the FTP Tutorial click on "Support" at the
bottom of the page and follow the links.
Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Andy.

Many thanks for all your responses!  Ken, the site you gave me was excellent!
Geez, I didn't know I needed to go to DOS to do it or I might have been much
better off! I've been around computers since before Personal Computers so
DOS I know! -- Well, I thought I did!

Anyway, many thanks.  You've solved my problem.

I checked out the eCovers you gave a link to, and failed to see they look any
better than those made with  eCover Generator at
http://www.ecovergenerator.com/x.cgi?adminid=814&id=22656

They're reduced in size as displayed, which automatically reduces any defects
otherwise possible to see. Also, authors who have their eBooks made for them
lose web rights to their eBooks for three years!

I've made seven eCovers so far with eCover Generator, and am well satisfied with
the quality. How careful I am in making them determines their quality. And, in
any case, everyone knows an eBook doesn't really look like the illustration! And
by making my own eBooks, both eCover, test and illustrations, I retain all
rights to them.

They probably found him guilty in a later case than the one I had read then.
I did know that they were going to hold more hearings on the issue at the time
I read the case I read but had heard no more about it since then. According to
the article I read a year or so ago, they said they had no way to know how many
millions he had stolen so the 65 million may have just been more of a slap on
the wrist than anything else.

Yes, I've known about that for a very long time. That's pretty neat to say the
least.

Yes, but as a parody it comes under a bit different concept in the law than it
does if you are seen as being in competition with someone else somehow and
using anything from their site.

Probably so. In my case, the whole thing wasn't worth arguing about.

Yes, I am quite sure there are.

Thanks for your message. Quite informative to say the least.

Preparing Your First Pay-Per-Click Campaign
By Detlev Reimer

One of the best possibilities to drive targeted traffic to your
web site is the use of Pay-Per-Click search engines . They
are not like the regular search engines where you have to
deal with meta-tags, alt-tags, robots.txt  etc. for your web
pages.

With this kind of web site promotion, the rankings are
solely based on the amount of money you want to spend
on your advertising campaign. The advertisers are bidding
on certain keywords to achieve a particular position at the
results page.

If someone searches for that keyword and clicks on the
link, the advertiser has to pay the determined amount of
money.  I've seen actual bids which go as high as $6 to $7
e.g. for the keyword "web hosting"  at Overture.com .

Could Your Competitors Click On Your Link ?

But to avoid that your competitors click on your link a
thousand times to make you bankrupt, there is a mecha-
nism (I think it's done with cookies) which blocks this
process .

This also is of interest to the PPCs' operators to serve their
customers in this way because many customers would
complain and could ask for their money back.

You should not bid for the most competitive keywords
as this could easily cost you hundreds of dollars to rank at
the top. Try to find keywords which are relevant to your
site as well but which are less competitive.

Try To Avoid Highly Competitive Keywords

In a nutshell : If your web site has the topic Internet mar-
keting, which is highly competitive, try to avoid this key-
word by choosing a more specific expression like e.g.
copywriting or e-book creation . Then you are rather in a
field where competitors pay less for a click.

Make a list of 20-50 keywords which are relevant to your
site. Look how many times your keywords have been
searched for at the most important pay-per-click search
engine Overture.com (former Goto.com)  :
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/
Then bid for the most promising ones (those with the highest
numbers) at Overture.com and some other PPCs  .

Don't Bid Too Much For A Keyword

Don't make the mistake to bid too much for a keyword.
If you want to reach a number one spot and the highest
bid is $0.30 , don't bid $0.50 or higher. Then you are just
wasting money, you could have the same top spot if you
just paid $0.31 !

=====================Joke of the Day   (1)===============

Eleven people were clinging precariously to a wildly swinging
rope suspended from a crumbling outcropping on Mount
Everest.

Ten were blonde, one was a brunette.

As a group they decided that one of the party should let go.
If that didn't happen the rope would break and everyone
would perish.

For an agonizing few moments no one volunteered.

Finally the brunette gave a truly touching speech saying she
would sacrifice herself to save the lives of the others.

The blondes applauded.
