Subject:Spam Has me stumped

Marianne,

I am not sure what you can do about this. Most of the time with Spam, I just
delete it. Sometimes if I am tricked in to opening some Porno thing, I report it
to AOL, for all the good that does. But a while back I started receiving the old
"E-mail Undeliverable" Messages, but the E-mail that was not able to be
delivered was a porno thing. And it was coming from MY AOL E-mail account. Holy
Hanna, was I upset. I called AOL and was told someone must have gotten past my
firewall and hacked in and gotten my AOL password and was logging in and sending
this garbage through my account.

I was told to just change my password and that should stop them. Well, it did. I
was worried about someone reporting me for something I was not sending. But AOL
told me if that happened they would contact me and we could get it all
straightened out. Also it takes many people reporting you to AOL for Spam before
they do anything about it. Maybe that explains why there are so many Spammers on
AOL.

Anyway, this doesn't sound like the same thing to me, but it is a crime in my
book anyway. But if there is no way to report the person or persons, then I
would just forget it. But I would change my E-mail password just to be safe.

Take care and good luck,

John Olson

Subject:Spam Has me stumped

I think the problem is not how to block but how to avoid all together.
As I have covered my ideas in the last issue I will not repeat them all
here but instead suggest you go back to last weeks letter and read that.

In a nut shell it says change to a new e-mail address and then be
careful who you give it to.  If spammers have your address and want to
spam you even filters are limited as to what they can do.  If they do
not have your address they can not mail you, simple.

If you are getting mail at something@astrologicinsights.com try to
disable the catchall forwarding with your host and only use specific
name@astrologicinsights.com, if you post to ffa sites etc. use a name
that you can discard and filter to a different folder or direct to a web
based e-mail account so you do not need to wait for downloads.

Hope this helps
John

I was receiving porno from my address and tried

Subject:Spam Has me stumped

Hi Marianne,
This spam stuff is sure getting out of control, isn't it? It's
enough to make you want to pull your hair out! You'd think
these so-called 'marketers' would find better ways to advertise
their offers *sigh*

But, it doesn't look like the spam issue will be a thing of the
past any time soon, so here are some suggestions (I'm assuming
that you've received this spam in Outlook Express):

It seems as though you received a version of the Klez virus
that's been floating around email inboxes lately. This
particular worm likes to send infected emails to everyone in
your address book. Now, I don't have an explanation as to why
or how you received a message from yourself, but a little
research into Klez might help.
The best site I have found for virus research is Symantec. You
can learn more about Klez by going to:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.e@mm.html

The above link will have an Outlook Express patch you can
download, as well as a Klez removal tool.

You can find out who 'really' sent you that email; all you have
to do is:
- highlight the message
- right click on it and choose 'Properties'
- choose the 'Details' tab
- look at the bottom right of the little window, and click
'Message Source'

This will bring up all of the email headers, and the sender's
address as well.

And now, a warning for ALL Adland Digest readers:

Recently, I received an email that claimed to include a Klez
removal tool. This email was written in broken English, with
terrible punctuation and spelling. The email included a file
attachment.  I've since deleted it, so I'm unsure as to what
type of files were attached. Even though most of you already
know not to download attachments you are not sure about, it's
worth repeating: Delete and/or block unwanted email, NEVER
open attachments if the message looks suspicious, and do virus
scans regularly!

*hops off the soapbox*

Good luck Marianne - I hope your spam problem is resolved soon!

Jerome,

I am not GingerMarie but I can give you my opinion on the FreeStoreClub. You
will most likely get a lot of people signed up, but will they buy? Most likely
not. And they will probably not recruit, so you will be left on your own to
build. Also, you will have to balance your right and left sides, as I understand
it. If you are out of balance, no money. When you do get paid, it might not be
much considering the work you will have to put into build it.

The history of Internet Malls and MLM is not a pretty one. I wish you luck with
this, it will take a lot of work on your part to make a go of it. Mostly you,
your family and friends maybe the only ones buying anything from your site. It's
hard enough to have your own shopping site, get it listed, get traffic to it,
buyers to it. But a MLM cookie cutter Mall, will be very hard to make much of
anything with. You will have to recruit the World and hope they buy from
themselves in order to make a lot off this.

But that is just my opinion, good luck.

Hi there, Jerome! =0)

You're not the first to ask me about this particular program, and to
be honest with you, I have my "Free Store", but haven't yet marketed
it, nor have I read the 7 day training course in "Exact Method Marketing"
yet, although I can almost predict what it's going to say... they admit
openly to the 'common sense approach they take, and I know from my
previous sales experience in Corporate Banking that means "PEOPLE FIRST".

As it should be. So... what I propose to do is start the examination, and
investigation of the FreeStoreClub, right here at Adland Digest, if Bogdan
agrees that it would be something of interest to my fellow Adlanders. =0)
It might be fun to take you all with me through the process of evaluation
I go through to write my RealDealReports©.

At first glance, the sales copy is, well... interesting. I have to admit that
any reference to banking and financial assistance makes me wary, due to
the Federal Laws governing these areas, and the see-saw effect of Regulation
through De-Regulation! I will be doing research on the Mortgage Finance
company named in the Financial 'Store' section... see if any of my banking
contacts have any *dirt* on them lol! I will do the same research and
investigation on the "Discounted Health Benefits" and various other companies
referred to in the sales page.

Another *bell* and *whistle* that's going off, for me at least, is the following
ad/training copy:

What could this course be worth to you? $10,000 a week, as much as $40,000 a
month or even up to $500,000 a year!
A HALF MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!

Hype! Yuck!!! Do I want to send this statement to my prospects in the form of
a training letter? No, I certainly wouldn't... that's my gut instinct, and I
tend to trust that, but it's also just my first impression. I'll reserve
judgment for
now, and report back with more findings in a week, after the next issue of the
Digest comes out. To be completely frank with you, I can't yet promise to even
market this until I've investigated it some more... if it passes my initial
examination, I will test market it and see what happens.

If any of the readers of the Digest have anything particular they would like me
to report on during this process that I have neglected to comment on, please
feel
free to bring it to my attention here
mailto:webwench@nycap.rr.com?subject=EMM_Test

I think this will be fun, sharing the review process like this, and I hope that
at least some of you will be able to better evaluate a business opportunity when
we've completed the process... and Bogdan, if you allow us to do this, then
KUDOS to you and your MOST AWESOME list! LOL  =0)

Laurence,

Most all businesses are pyramids if you really look at them. And as for CE being
a scam, I highly doubt it. I think someone like Mark Joyner would have been able
to smell this out on his visit. I do not think that he would put his reputation
on the line with something he was not sure of. His report on the visit is most
enlightening. I suggest you read it:

http://www.aesop.com/ce.html?help4u2

Also, as to the New Zealand Government cracking down on pyramid selling, I quote
from part of an update just release from CE:

"Review of CASHevolution by New Zealand Govt.

....Recently the New Zealand Commerce Commission informed us of a few items of
our website which need to be clarified. We are in the process of making those
clarifications now and will complete them right away. Such events are normal in
the course of business and present no problem for us whatsoever...."

It seems they are cooperating fully with things that the Government finds are a
problem on the site.

William,

I find nothing at the WWSN worth even discussing. The man's site is meant to be
looked at as satire, and is stated as such, if you read through it enough. He
has pilloried Going Platinum in such a foul way, that I would not believe a word
he writes. But I did find a site the other day that has some insights you might
want to look over: http://www.scamreport.org/

If you go to their "Biz Opps" page you will find CE listed as an approved
Company. And no, they do not belong to it. There code of ethics prohibits it.

William, CE is not a Duck. Time will tell what CE will become, I will wait and
see what story time gives me. And yes, it will slow down once the newness wares
off. It happens to every new program, they all get old and loose some of the
excitement. But if it's excitement you want, then join every new thing that
comes out. You won't make any money, but you will be excited most of the time,
until you get frustrated and move to the next Exciting thing.

CE has always dealt fairly with me and I am sticking by them.

Hi Bogdan and Adlanders

In response to William Jaroske's Comments on
CASHevolution

"Cashevolution will come to a screeching halt
soon because if [of] hype."

While I respect William's opinion, I have to
disagree with this.  It's true that there's a
lot of hype over CE, which is a bit annoying,
but I think people are excited for a reason.

What better time to start educating people
on how to invest and handle their money the
"right way?"  Many people lost their life savings
in the recent boom/bust market because of their lack
of investment knowledge.

I think people can see the real value in CE
promoting investment information aimed at the
average person(this IS the product).

Pyramid scams, on the other hand, offer no value
(no product of any type).

Citibank has just come on board as the payment
processor for memberships because CE is growing
by leaps and bounds!

"A lot of sacrificial lambs are being led to
the slaughter house."

CE participants aren't sacrificial lambs -
we're adults that have made a decision to
participate in a business opportunity.
No one should get involved if their "gut feeling"
tells them not to.

For more information on CASHevolution read this
report: http://aesop.com/ce.html?myflavor

The ultimate decision is up to you.

William has made his, and I've made mine.

I'll keep Adlanders periodically updated on
my experiences with CE - good and bad.

Take Care

I've never written to an ezine before. I've been reading them for about a
year now.
I've just got to get this off my chest..........I was automatically placed
into cash evolution thru my membership with BR. I read everything on the company
and thought "Oh Boy!! Finally getting in first and have a chance at some
profits!" So I paid my money and became a member. That was before MJ went to
check them out.
In the beginning it was great. I wrote my ads and tracked them. Great Hits!!
I had 7 members inside the first 2 weeks; 2 levels deep. Then MJ came back;
made his presentation and mysteriously all my downline disappear except for
one.(Did I mention 5 were marked as paid members?)
I emailed my sponsor and CE-they sent me info that people had been placed
wrong and had been correctly placed or the people had not paid their fees.
Ok stuff happens. BUT not repeatedly. I paid for ads to run in ezines. I
promoted nothing but CE and got more signups (some marked paid) They all of a
sudden disappeared right before pay day! I run adtraz so I know I was getting
a great amount of hits. I had the sign ups showing but still no pay check.
Now I show only 6 members 2 levels deep and only one is showing paid and they
want the next payment. I'm getting out while I still have some money to invest
in my future. like a scam I agree with William Jaroske: if it walks and looks
like a duck then is must be one.

From:Andy Sparks
Subject:Will the Going Platinum debate ever die?

Mr Catalan has
fought very hard and for a very long time to keep his dream alive.  He has told
some lies.  He is indebt.  He owes money and a lot of it.

The above is a cut and paste of Valerie Underhill's exact words from Adland
#301.

Do you want to send your money to a liar?  Is this the guy you want to recommend
to your family and friends?

I used to post to the GP boards while Valerie was a moderator and that is all I
am going to say about that.

Many of you don't remember but about 12 or maybe even 18 months ago, The
General, Robert E. Lee and I had a very heated discussion about GP.  I was
attempting to uphold the pro position and the General had the con.  I lost.

Now here it is 12 to 18 months later and people are still defending GP.  If GP
has been going to launch any minute for over 2 years and the Boss is in hot
water and has been know to lie, don't you think that your time and efforts are
worth supporting and promoting something of a higher caliber?

Do you want to take people's money and not really care about the value they
receive and if they get what the paid for or do you want to over deliver on
value, get repeat customers and sleep good at night?

That is the difference between an Internet Business and a SCAM.  If you send
Bogdan some of your money, you will get what you paid for and it will be a good
value for your money.  Therefore you are probably going to make another
purchase.

I have bought a lot of advertising here in the Digest and ad impressions on
Adlandpro.com and I will buy some more in the near future.

I sent GP $25 one time and that is all they will ever get from me.

If I could only give the members of the Digest one piece of advice it would be
to care about your customer and put them first.  Give your customer good value
for their money.  Don't recommend things that are not in their best interests.

Years ago here in the US they shipped soap products in wooden crates and when
someone would make a speech on the public street, they would pull one of these
wooden crates from the trash to stand on and elevate their head above the crowd
to be seen and heard. So now when someone is making a speech or talking strongly
about a subject, they are said to be standing on a soap box.

I am getting off my soap box.

Thanks
Andy Sparks

From:Elizabeth Piotrowski
Subject:Advertising On The Web

Hello Miss Ariyo,

First of all, I want to thank you for giving me a chuckle with
your Adland Digest posting:

"How best can one use free classifieds for advertising
one's business without going crazy?"

The truth of the matter is, if you are just starting out as an
internet marketer, you might be in for some craziness whether
you want it or not :) But, it's all a part of the learning
process!

To shed some light on your question, I have found that the best
way to use free classifieds for advertising is to own your own
classifieds site.
Why?
Because as the owner, you can place banner ads for your product
all over the site. Also, you can place your text ads anywhere
you like in the system for free (usually).

More advantages of owning your own classifieds site include:

- charging ad posters for their listings;
- email notification of each ad posting. This means that you
also get the email address of the person who posted an ad at your
site;
- most classified systems will allow you to send the poster a
confirmation email (to let them know their ad has been posted).
In this confirmation email, you can include ads for your
product.

How do you go about setting up your own classified site? Well,
you have two options: you can either set it up yourself
(visit http://www.becanada.com/isell/products.html), or have
someone do it for you.

Mechanized Marketing
http://www.mechanized-marketing.com/members/elizabeth/
gives you the opportunity of owning your own classified site
(plus many other marketing tools that are too numerous to list
here) without the headaches. However, you will be looking at a
cost of $45/month, as you must join at the Silver level to
access the classified option. But believe me when I tell you
that it is well worth the price for all of the other goodies
you get!

Miss Ariyo, I do hope you'll keep us Adlanders informed of
your progress! I wish you much luck in your classified
AD-venture ;)

Hello Miss Ariyo,

To best use free classifieds for advertising
you will need to break down the task into
two major parts.

Briefly, this would be...

One part to deal with keeping track of where,
when, and how your free classifieds are to be
posted i.e. the days, posting urls, ad-types, etc.

(Word, Access, or even Notepad could be used
for this purpose)

The other part would be to 'target your ads'
for which you will have to consider important
aspects of free advertising vis-a-vis...
* the extremely negligible response rate,
* the type of networker you expect to read free ads,
* the opps. that might provide the best response
* consistency of your ads, and,
* frequency of posting,

to name a few...

Finest Regards,

Jerome Dsouza

Subject:Eliminate spam and go down in history as a hero

John Yarrow said this about eliminate spam and go down in history as a hero?

<Start qoute>
I have held off saying anything about this issue because when I do it
seems I get a rash of s@@@. The bottom line to this spam issue is very
simple and I think in our hearts we know this and should see the writing
on the wall.

As long as there are two sides to this issue and as long as the
arguments continue to escalate the more we are inviting the powers to be
to intercede and make laws and charges to take control. We must do our
best to educate the "newbies" now as they flock to the Internet.

Maybe instead of joining sides and making bigger armies we should take
some time out to educate ourselves with ways to avoid the spam. There
is a very simple equation here and it is, if spam works, it will be
used, period end of comment there can be no argument except outside
control unless we stop the war and get a little smarter on how to avoid
the whole issue and not create enemies of each other. The e first rule of
fighting spam is to NOT RESPOND OR BUY ANYTHING THAT IS SPAMMED TO YOU!
If people did not respond it would not be used.

<End qoute>

As far as educating the newbees and asking them not to become spammers is
irrelevant to some point. If they think this is a better way to get sign ups ,
my god they're going to do it. If they lose their ISP. They just sign up for a
different one.

The comment " don't respond  or buy from spammers."There will be some smuck who
will

Subject:Quality Leads

Hi Adlanders,

I have been on the net for a while now and I am involved in a few activities
online. Specifically http://www.mpenzi.net,
http://www.quickinfo247.com/354657.0208/FREE and
http://www.freestoreclub.com/go/pesamob and I am at a total loss as to how to
get good quality internet leads that are specific to my online activities. I
have tried all manner of advertising online and offline BUT seem to get nowhere.
I have spent more than US$ 300 in the last 60 days trying to advertise just so
as to get leads who would hopefully sign up under me.

All you adlanders - who are making money online - please advice me on what to
do. I would really like to be involved in an online  home business that makes
money. I have opted to concentrate on SFI & Free Store Club in the hope that
being in Nairobi - Kenya will not stop me from getting sign ups who will fully
participate and make me some money online.

The Internet in Kenya is still way behind and thus convincing Kenyan prospects
to sign up then participate is extremely difficult.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Subject:Information About SFI Wanted

Hi All,

I have a colleague that has asked me to look into SFI. In particular he wants to
know if this is a business/program that he can actually earn money by using and
promoting.

I have looked into it, both the site itself that he received when he signed up
http://buysfi.com and the Carson Group that owns this program/affiliate
marketing plan.

It seems to me that this is very similar to Amway; buy the products for
yourself, encourage friends and others to join your "team" to promote the
products and program, make money in several levels.

The Carson Group is very proud of the fact that they have 4 million affiliates
in the SFI program http://www.nebr.com/Apply/Apply.html marketing their program
and products and they even promote an easy selling method and eager sales force
to potential business partners that may want to target their 4 million
affiliates.

My main questions are:
You have been an affiliate of SFI for some time now, have you earned any
money/profits from your promotion of this program? To answer you should be an
active member of  SFI, someone that pays their member fees regularly and has
done so for a few months, if not longer.

If you joined months ago, what have you done with the program? How have you
promoted it, successfully or unsuccessfully?

What has turned you on to believe that SFI will be the "road to riches" or has
your motivation in the program dwindled with your bank account as you
continually fed the membership fees and not seen any results?

Feel free to post your replies in the Adland's newsletter, I am sure that Bogdan
won't mind.
Or you can email me directly at:

Subject: http://www.NdofuArt.com

Hi Fellow readers of adland,

I have build a site to sell Cards and Prints of my Wife's Art. We are
selling the product very well in Western Australia, where we live, but
having little success on the net.

We have had many positive comments from friends, even sales, but just don't
seem to be even generating enquiries from others. I am confident the product
is good, so what is wrong?

Can you help us to build an online outlet for our products? Please review
the web site. I value your comments.

I would appreciate that it is not too technical.

=====================Site Review Response  (1)===============
From:John Olson
Subject: http://bmdenterprises.net/gift/

Laurie,

Are You BMD Enterprises? If you are, it seems you have much more then a little
Gift site. I clicked on the link in the banner at the top left and was taken to
a Corporate site which is a Webpage/Graphics Design/Advertising and Maintenance
site. The addresses at for both sites showed the address you put at the bottom
of your request, PO Box 251 Columbia, TN 38402-0251.  Makes me wonder.

Anyway, getting back to the Gift site you wanted a review on, I think one of the
sites problems is that it's to Wide. I run IE 6.0 and have a 15 inch monitor and
I normally keep my "Favorites" open on the side. I don't have much problem
viewing sites this way, but when I clicked into your site, I had to close the
"Favorites" in order to view the site without scrolling right and left all the
time. If you can, I would narrow this site down a Lot.

Also, you launch right into Product with absolutely no mention of who you are or
what a Wonderful variety of things your site offers. And you have a TON of pages
with stuff on them and I can't click on all of them, but the ones I did click on
gave me no way but to back up to get to any other of the links. Think about
this, how many times is a person going to back up to the Gift page, if they
don't find what they want on a certain link?

Oh, I sit corrected. I clicked on some of the other pages and the links on the
left and top  were there. Still there were those few pages that opened with none
of the normal site links.

So, I would do two things. One, your Home page should tell us who you are and
what is on the site. Two, fix those Wide pages. Tighten things up so we don't
have to scroll right and left to see what is on the page. Oh three, get all the
links on all the pages.

Good luck with the site,

John Olson

I just wanted to say that I looked at your site, Laurie, and the biggest problem
that I had was the size of the page.  It was too wide to view without scrolling
side to side.  I maximized the window thinking that would solve the problem, but
it didn't.  Maybe you get it resized or something.  It irritates me when I can't
view something all at once, and I usually just leave the site.

I'm new here to this format, but I thought I'd just give you my opinion.

Best of luck to you.

Jim,

Well, after looking over all your pages the one thing I could say about most of
them, you more then Over corrected for on the Water Crystals page. That being,
to much Space between the navigation links on the left and the text in the
center.

With the Water Crystal page, there is hardly any white space at all. You seem to
have every inch covered with text or a picture. I wonder why you changed the
site design for this one page though. I think it is best to keep the same lay
out on every page. Also the page links are on the right on this page, but on the
left on all the others. And they are not the same type of links, even though
they are the same pages. Very odd.

If I were you, I would redesign the page to match the others or redesign the
others to match that one page. This is personal, but I like links on the left
not the right. I know there was a Big to do about this a while ago. But keep the
same style on all the pages, it's more professional that way.

And on some of the pages you center part of the text but not all of it. I am
thinking of the Cajun Candy page. I wouldn't center any of it. Except maybe the
Table at the bottom. By the way, this is one page where the text is just right,
next to the navigation links.

Get some Meta tags on the Water page.

I do like the fact that you let us know who you are. That is a good thing in my
book. As far as Autoresponders go, they are very easy to use and you can use
them to send your Newsletter too. Here is a link to a free one with no ads that
several E-zines I get use: http://www.freeautobot.com/

If you can build that site, you can figure out an autoresponder. Offering a free
something to people who sign up for the Newsletter is a good idea. As for E-mail
marketing, I feel the same way you do and it sounds like you got yourself a FFA
site and are afraid to bulk mail all those E-mails. I didn't like that either. I
have now started using Safelists and doing some E-zine advertising and it has
been working out. Check out the "Advertising and Traffic" page on my site for
some ideas. There is way to much to go into here.

I wish you luck with the site, take care.

Your site looks great but...

My computer is set at 800x600 res., I use IE5 and when the site
comes up I can only see about 2/3 of the page from side to
side.  It is way too large for my viewing area so I have to
move the screen back and forth to see everything.

I have no problem with pages loading and you layout is very
nice.

I can not tell you what it would take to fix this but i just
wanted you to know what problems I had. I am sure one of the
Adlanders can tell you what the problem is.

=====================Site Review Response  (5)===============
From:April Waters
Subject:http://www.jharveyenterprises.com

I am still a little new at giving reviews but I did have a
couple of comments about your site (hope I do not get one of
those emails you said you would send if you had something
unpleasant to say!! Just kidding :)

First off in your site review request you said basically don't
worry too much about the rest of the site, your main concern
was link #4 about the water company.

Right away I thought..Then why not just make your site about
the water company or at the least, make it your 1st link, not
the 4th?

So I went to your site and this was your very first paragraph:

Hello,

I want to welcome you and extend my thanks to all for visiting
my site. What I want is to offer you some great opportunities
to make money and become successful. This site is really for
you.  Most of the opportunities that I suggest are free or have
very small costs involved. One that you can join free is S T C,
Inc. However, I don't recommend it unless you just can't do it
any other way. The reason is simple. You don't join the matrix
and get any spillover or get paid for those you bring in.
Besides that, by purchasing your kit you get approximately $350
worth of product for the $213 that your kit cost you. Go to my
water crystals link and check it out.

So I look at the links and I do not see a STC,Inc or water
crystals link but
since you said the thing you were most interested in for your
review was the water company I took a gamble that link #4 was
indeed STC,Inc...I was right.

Now I am really confused...You want a site review basically on
the water page, then in your 1st paragraph you say you do
not recommend it.

If you believe enough in a product, company, MLM, EEM, whatever
to take the time to make a site about it, promote it, spend all
the hours on it, then talk it up, do not right up front tell
the downs of it. Honesty is a good thing but too much can kill
your business. I do not suggest you lie which so many companies
do, but just don't say things like..I do not recommend it
unless you just can't do it any other way.

Also if you talk about a company by name, be sure the link has
the same name.

All of your links worked fine, pages were very easy to read. I
liked that you put your picture in there so we do get that
feeling of knowing you are real. (Cute grandkids!)

Just wanted to give you an opinion of a person always looking
for another opportunity and what I thought when I looked at
your site.

Best of luck
April Waters

How To Make Your Sales Letters Bullet Proof
By Mike Jezek

I'm going to show you in the next few moments how to make
your sales letters and direct mail several times more powerful.
In fact, what I'm about to emphasize to you may enable you to
eat more of your competitors market share.

Every time before you sit down to write your sales letters or
direct mail take out a sheet of paper and think of every possible
objection your prospect could come up with to avoid buying your
product or service.  This may take a while and it may seem a pain
at first but I assure you that this is incredibly important.

After you have come up with every possible reason why your prospects
may say no to your offer, stop and consider any possible objections
that may come up related to your specific industry or
specific tastes of your target market.  In other words, would your
market be more inclined to buy only brand name products or services,
would your market be more inclined to buy only a more
attractive product over a less attractive one irregardless of quality?

Ok, now let's say you've done all of the above.
Here's what you do next.  Think very carefully
about how you'd overcome those objections to persuade Mr. Prospect
to buy or respond.

Most companies with a winning sales force have a team come in
and create answers to every possible objection a prospect may raise.
And they create what's called a Script Book.  In fact, companies
with top-notch sales teams keep their Script Books secret.
Some even place their Script Books in safes.  Why?
The scripted answers to every objective Mr. Prospect may raise
are worth their weight in gold if their answers to a prospect's
objection works.

In direct sales, you must become a master of knowing every
objection your prospects have and be able to articulately overcome
every one of those objections.

And so it is the same with copywriting.  Copywriting is nothing more
than salesmanship in print.  When you craft copy that overcomes
objections, you're going to be light years ahead of your
competition.  Most people won't even take the time to do this!
Your homework is to know the objections your market has,
like you know the back of your hand, and craft irresistible
answers to overcome those objections.  After all, if everyone of
Mr. Prospect's objections are overcome, logic would tell him
he should invest in your product or service.  Get to work.

=====================Joke of the Day   (1)===============

Marriage Continued..
----------------

Man is incomplete until he is married. Then he is finished.

A little boy asked his father, "Daddy, how much does it cost to get
married?" And the father replied, "I don't know son, I'm still paying."

Young Son: Is it true Dad, that in some parts of Africa a man doesn't
know his wife until he marries her? Dad: That happens in every country,
  son.

Then there was a man who said, "I never knew what real happiness was
until I got married; by then it was too late."

A woman was telling her friend, "It is I who made my husband a
  millionaire."
"And what was he before you married him?" asked the friend.
  The woman replied, "A billionaire."

Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. A second
marriage is the triumph of hope over experience.

If you want your spouse to listen and pay strict attention to every
word you say, talk in your sleep.

Just think, if it weren't for marriage, men would go through life
thinking they had no faults at all.

You know the honeymoon is pretty much over when you start to go out
with the boys on Wednesday nights, and so does she.

During a heated spat over finances the husband said, "Well, if you'd
learn to cook and were willing to clean this place, we could fire the
maid." The wife, fuming, shot back, "Oh yeah??? Well, if you'd learn
how to make love, we could fire the chauffeur and the gardener."

Personally, I think one of the greatest things about marriage is that
as both husband and father, I can say anything I want to around the
house. Of course, no one pays the least bit of attention.

How do most men define marriage? A very expensive way to get your
  laundry done for free.

The most effective way to remember your wife's birthday is to forget it
  once.

First guy (proudly): "My wife's an angel!" Second guy: "You're lucky,
  mine's still alive."

Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street
with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are beautiful.
