Greetings All
Welcome 400 new subscribers who joined list since last mailing.
I'm currently evaluating antispa^m software and I have found best
solution so far. I have used several solutions to date but this
one has best capabilities. It cleans my inbox with 99% accuracy,
and today even didn't qualify any of the valid messages as spa^m.
What is so good about this newest software.
1. Very simple to use.
Install it and let it do the job.
Integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express
seamlessly.
2. It can be trained.
No need to setup any filters, software is trained by your actions
and next time categorizes your mail appropriately.
You just dedicate piece of email which was qualified wrongly
by the software as spa^m or not spa^m and next time it is where
it is supposed to be.
3. Recognizes about 80% of known spa^m emails instantly right after
installing.
Today morning I was almost worried when I had only about 5
spa^m emails in my inbox as opposed to 500.
I was almost convinced that my good email was categorized as
spa^m. Not even one was in the spa^m box.
The software is using so called Bayesian Filter.
Check it out here. You can try it for two weeks free.
http://www.adlandpro.com/redir/spa_solved.asp
I'm almost thinking that I solved my spa^m
problems.
Can't believe it actually.

From:Eric McArdle
Subject:Free Advertising
Hi Gerry,
Yes, there are actually ways to advertise free. Of course you can get
traffic and tons of hits from click exchanges, but its never targeted.
You can get traffic by building a list through a free opt-in list building
program, but who knows what these people are interested in besides
building their list.
Now here's what I do. I have used the opt-in list building programs to gain
leads. But the only way to utilize them is to see if they are actually
interested prospects. I show them this page on how to begin earning online
income using nothing but free advertising. I have a spot for them to
subscribe to an update list. If they subscribe, I know they are interested
in online marketing and they are now on MY list. Not the programs list,
but I have contacted them through the list to get on my actual list.
People that are on my list I know are serious and are getting worthwhile
information while the people on my listbuilding programs are getting ads
and offers from me.
I also use click exchanges, not often though. The technique I use is
creating a lead page. A lead page is basically a page with a quick but
catchy title, short description and benefits, and followed by an
autoresponder signup form. If they submit their information, they are not
just another untargeted or uninterested visitor, they are somebody who has
responded with interest. Let me ask you this, that is if you do use
traffic click exchanges, how many times do you see the same affiliate page
over and over?
I know I do and you would be lying if you said you haven't. That's why
creating a lead page is unique and can help you turn your visitors into
customers, or better yet, relationships.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Eric McArdle

Hi Gerry Antonelli,
My site is #1 on Google for keyword "affiliate review" because I spent an
hour each day at the forum. My most favorite forum is
howtocorp.com/forum.
When you submit your URL via submission page from Google, it is no longer
guaranteed your site will get indexed. Even if it does, it'll take from
4-6 weeks.
However, if you spend time at the forum there are distinct advantages:
1- Make yourself known - to get help and to be helped.
2- Let Google finds you .. It's the best way to get indexed.
3- Pay to be listed on someone site that has Google index his or her site
often. I charge $20.00 a month to list a URL on my site. You will get
indexed in 1 week.
However due to Google recent Dance, the result may change by the time you
read this email. The dance this time is very deep and I am not sure why
some sites got yanked off the listing.
My next bonus report reserved only for my subscribers and I won't post it
anywhere else on any of my sites.
This report will give you hands on together with my secret revealed on how
to get your site rank first. It's so simple really. You'll see.
It's derived from my own experience and I am not a proclaim SEO expert.
However I am expert in getting my site listed and listed first.
If you sign up with me today, you'll get in for next month bonus report.

Subject:Free Advertising
Hi Gerry,
Yes, there is free advertising online.
There are free ad sites which, in some cases, are still good to test ad copy
even if they will probably not be your key to fortune.
There are free safelists which, if you can write effective ad copy, can still be
of use.
And, Traffic Generators or Start Page Programs still work for some offers.
Message Boards (as you suggest) and forums are, in my opinion, the best forms of
free online advertising today, provided you choose venues that really relate to
your product and you participate in the conversation as opposed to just plugging
your offer.
Any advertising offer that seems free, but really isn't, should be ignored. If
someone has to trick you to get you into their service, they probably have some
unsatisfied customers.
My suggestion for you ( I know this will sound like a plug, but I really believe
it) is to check out a free marketing information site like mine at
http://www.onestopinternetbusiness.com and look around. You don't have to be
a
Member at all to have access to quite a bit of information and Free Members have
access to recommendations for free advertising sites and methods that actually
work.

William Jaroske writes that the complete garbage includes:
"Noni juice, Amway, Six Figure Income, Retire Quickly and other pyramid
schemes that DO NOT WORK."
There is some truth in many statements about products being peddled as
garbage on the internet.
It is not a fact that everything being peddled is garbage.
There are genuine quality products being traded that benefit the consumer
in many ways.
As a Noni juice affiliate; I am getting monthly checks, can monitor daily
sales, and do get complimentary emails about the product benefits.
If William goes to the site below he will see that his contention about
Noni juice is unsupported.

Julie you really should consult the webmaster

And why do you lie and say its not a pyramid scheme when it actually is.

As I look into different sites and some that I have signed up for, it is
very disconcerting to me to be contacted by several other sites that are
related but the relationship is never declared.
I have been charged fees by several sites just for signing up on one and
have a terrible time getting any answers from some.
One in particular is a very fast growing product called Oasis/Ageless. It
was first advertised pre-launch as MyMediaLine. I got excited about it,
signed up and then the fun began. The User Id and Password never
worked..could never get an answer to my many emails. Then out of the blue
I suddenly had another website called OasisAgeless and was charged $35.00
a month for that website. I started getting Distributer fees, supplies,
stock, all charged on my credit card. It took me many emails to finally
find out that Priceless Possibilities designed the website for
OasisAgeless who did not know who MyMediaLine was. So I decided to go
ahead and market through OasisAgeless on the website designed by
PricelessPossibilities.
One day I got an email stating that MyMediaLine was bought by MarketQ and
asked if I wanted to market through them. I responded NO because my
password has never worked, and because they do not respond to any of my
emails. Lo and behold, my credit card is now getting charged $24.95 a
month by MarketQ who has as yet never answered one single email.
Don't get me wrong, I am pleased with product, support and website for
OasisAgeless, but please beware of MarketQ. And if you work with several
sites or providers it would be nice if the relationship was declared so
people like me don't to go through this time wasting, money using,
frustrating events.

Subject: http://www.stupidnewbies.com
First off I have to tell you I find the name offensive. However, that was
your choice. However, I would not use you as a resource on
http://www.anewbieginning.com
because of that.
I went through the content on your board, and although most of it is good,
I don't think you go far enough with it. New people are overwhelmed by all
the choices they need to make. I would recommend you do at least a
synopsis of all these links and articles you are sending them to. I'm sure
they are good resources, and I went to a couple, but I didn't go to all of
them because I didn't know why I needed to go there.
Your site is very easy to navigate, although I would recommend you make
the urls you are using come up in a seperate window. Someone new is likely
to close the page, and your site will go along with it. This is something
I haven't had the time to do on my site either.
I really didn't find your two recommended resources all that helpful. I'm
not a newbie, but I do know that when I was, blocking pop ups wasn't my
first concern. I think you put things there that you find helpful now
because of how they aggravate you, but what does a new person really want?
I think some of your terms and concepts are too advanced for a new person.
It was 6 months before I figured out how a MLM worked, so why not explain
that concept, step-by-step and give them some examples, and also why they
don't work.
I think you have the beginnings of a good site, but as you yourself said,
content is king. Get some on there. Your site seemed more like it was
aimed at some of us that have already struggled through the morass of
information, and are ready to move on. Just my opinion, take it or leave
it. Cheryl

A Live Human Being
ByBob Osgoodby
Ever try to call a company for information or assistance, and
have to fight your way through a seemingly unending maze of
instructions from an automated robot. "For this press one; for
that press two", and so on. Some companies take you several
layers deep in options before you get the choice of speaking with
a live human being. I understand the efficiency involved, but at
what cost? Usually it is at the expense of doing business with
me.
Auto-responders are also great tools, and there are a number of
ways to use them to your advantage. If they're set up to provide
information about specific things, they can be a great time
saver. But when they are used improperly, they can do more harm
than good. If I request information and receive an auto-response,
fine. But don't send me the same information once a week for the
next seven weeks. All you are succeeding in doing is aggravating
an otherwise potential customer.
While I'm pretty tolerant about receiving unsolicited email,
(spa^m) I do find it annoying to get the same ad over and over,
all sent to a different address at my domain, day after day. It
is pretty obvious that the sender has software to search the web
looking for email addresses, and harvesting every one they could
find. If you try to respond to their message, it is returned as
undeliverable, and in my judgment is not an offer from a
legitimate company - another customer lost.
Ever try to get a question answered at Microsoft's web site?
They ask you to describe your problem, and then give you an
automated answer, which may or may not solve your problem.
Efficient - yes, helpful - possibly. Don't get caught up in this
trap. Sometimes there is no substitute for interaction with other
people.
Yes, the Internet is a vast, impersonal place. But if you are
hoping to do business on the web, you have to inject the personal
touch. Personalized email can be a great tool in your bag of
tricks. If you get a question, take a few moments and try to
answer it - if you do, you will most likely gain a long term
supporter, and if they're a prospect, a customer.
Another thing that many are remiss at, is thanking someone who
buys their product, or becomes a customer. Now if your business
produces a lot of orders, it may not be possible to send a
personalized thank you note to every customer. But you can have
a "canned" letter hid away in your word processor that you can
copy and paste. A little attention here goes a long way.
Many times you will receive comments or suggestions. Some may be
positive and others could be negative. You should take the time
to personally respond to these. Thank people for positive
comments. If it is negative try to address the issue, but don't
get defensive. If someone has a gripe, and takes the time to
write you, take them seriously. Maybe they are simply chronic
complainers, but maybe their opinion has substance. Evaluate
every comment you get, and surprisingly, you just might find a
flaw in your approach that you never thought of, but someone else
did.
Tread carefully when someone requests a joint venture. Many
times these are thinly veiled pyramids. If you sell advertising
in your publication or on your website, why would someone be
willing to give you a healthy percentage of their profit, in
return for your running an ad for them. Personally, I get offers
like this all the time, addressed to "Dear Webmaster" and you
know where they wind up.
Once in awhile however, someone will have a legitimate offer, and
be willing to trade off a percentage of their profit for your
advertising efforts. But if you do this, remember that you are
putting your reputation on the line as well. Affiliate programs
do this all the time.
In the cold world of the Internet, if you expect to do business,
you must use a personal approach. Most people have the same
reaction to some of the automated procedures in use that I do,
and really appreciate the contact with a live human being. If
you do offer this type of personal service, you will have a real
advantage over your competitors, who believe that you can simply
automate the process, and watch the money flow in.

=====================Joke of the Day (1)===============
The teacher was very curious about how each of her students celebrated
Christmas. She called on young Patrick Murphy. "Tell me Patrick what do
you do at Christmas time?" she asked.
Patrick addressed the class, "Me and my twelve brothers and sisters go to
midnight Mass and we sing hymns, then we come home, and we put mince
pies by the back door and hang up our stockings. Then we go to bed and
wait for Father Christmas to come with toys."
"Very nice, Patrick," she said. "Now Jimmy Brown what do you do at
Christmas?"
"Me and my sister also go to Church with Mom and Dad and we sing carols,
and after we get home we put cookies and milk by the chimney and we hang
up our stockings. We hardly sleep, waiting for Santa Claus to bring our toys,"
Jimmy replied.
"That's also very nice Jimmy," she said.
Realizing there was a Jewish boy in the class and not wanting to leave him
out of the discussion, she asked Isaac Cohen the same question. "Now Isaac, what
do you do at Christmas?"
Isaac said, "Well, we go for a ride and we sing a Christmas carol."
Surprised, the teacher questioned further. "Tell us what you sing."
"Well, it's the same thing every year. Dad comes home from the office. We
all get into the Rolls Royce, and we drive to his toy factory. When we get
inside we
lookat all the empty shelves and we sing," What a friend we have in Jesus." Then
we
all go to the Bahamas.
