Do you like people?
===============

Silly question, huh? Or is it?
I am constantly surprised at how many people really DON’T like other people. They
are in this business simply to try to make as much money as they can in the shortest
time then cut and run off to a new scheme. Then there are the “techies” who try to
dazzle you with their technical know-how and are so absorbed by it that they can’t
see past it to the actual customer or recruit in their own business.
Would it surprise you if I said that the only way to succeed big is if you actually like
and help other people?

So how about it? Do you like people?

RE: Are you Making Your Vision Come True?
From: Cyndi M

Been a while since I participated and this is the perfect topic for me this week as I
put my domain name money4moms.com up for sale! I have been on the web
marketing various MLMs, mostly health based from a website I had hoped would
help moms make more money from home.. since 2001.

What I am doing now for income is more fruitful than promoting MLMs. Last
summer I started learning about forex trading and although I took a good course, I
haven't started trading yet.

Other good passive income opportunities came along and now we are earning 3x per
month than hubby makes and than I ever made in MLM... and with less work.

A few of my programs have referral income, but not all. I have gone back to the
basics of networking and that is person-to-person for those programs with
commissions and I still help out folks with the ones that don't have commissions.

The web still allows person to person connections in Digests like this and community
forums and forums regarding a particular niche topic.

For me, that has been investment forums. I have made some good friends in these
forums and have learned a lot also.

My vision originally was to earn a better income for my family along with helping
others to do that. The vehicle, I thought, was MLM, but it turns out passive income is
the better vehicle for me.

So, truthfully, I am not spending much time in the marketing forums any longer! A
big help to me has been the Millionaire Mind Intensive taught by T Harv Eker, who
now has the bestseller out, "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind". It really helped me get
in touch with my attitudes around money and to change a lot of them.

So I may not see you all much in here! Thanks for the sharing, I've learned a lot!

Re: What is my Story
From: Susan

I stumbled into network marketing by accident. I remember 3 years prior to getting
rheumatoid arthritis that I had spoken to a person about the need for add nutrition in
our diet and I argued that for me this just wasn't so........I had such a good diet, I
claimed.

Low and behold only 3 years later I am desperately seeking a way to recover from
crippling Rheumatoid Arthritis pains and I receive another call in regards to trying a
nutritional product. It's all about timing, well this man was convincing that this
could help me and he was so much more supportive than the health food store. To
make a long story short, my symptoms started disappearing in the first month and my
doctors considered this a miracle.

I did a lot of research on my own and discovered that there are many other
autoimmune disorders, like RA that had no cure and therefore the only answer was to
mask the pain with prescription medications. I also found so many people, like
myself who found a more healthy alternative. Because I had such success I felt it was
my responsibility to others to share this success, therefore I fell into network
marketing. I not only want to share the product and business opportunity, but help
people discover that wellness is a combination of mind, body and spirit.

If I can help others as I have been helped in my mind I am a huge success. If in the
process I develop a business that supports me, all the better. It is said we should take
our passion and make it a business, my passion is to help myself and others be all
they can be and good health is the first step.

Re: PIPS and HYIP
From: Mike Fisher

Just to add a bit in clarification of Eva Marie's comments; HYI programs have been
given a bad name by innumerable shady and straight-out scam programs over recent
years. The list is endless and many millions of dollars have been ripped off by
unscrupulous operators.

Although programs like PIPs are founded on real world businesses and investments
they should be considered High Yield Investment programs because of the very high
returns on offer and the obvious lack of a prospectus usually required by the laws of
most countries. This is not to say they are generally illegal as such but rather operate
outside of any one country’s jurisdiction and use e-currencies and tax free havens
banking systems.

Having spent a number of years at this game I believe I am now well "qualified" and
in fact expert at picking the genuine HYIP. The general rule of thumb is do not get
involved with any HYIP that does not have full contact details such as principals,
address, phone numbers. Never trust only an email support system.

There are actually quite a number of very genuine programs and HYI businesses who
offer extremely lucrative profits that are stable and bona fide. PIPS is just one such
program which has grown at a startling rate in the last 12 months. The main issue
with most of these businesses is delayed withdrawals and PIPS is currently battling
with a large backlog. My solution for this frustrating issue is to spend my PIPS
profits elsewhere and I know a number of genuine program owners who will accept
PicPay as investment capital. Now that’s really leveraging your money.

If any one is interested I can provide links to these programs just by emailing me or
request to be added to my responder for more info; msfisher@xtra.co.nz

Re: Michael Anderson's Post
From: Rebecca Beasley

Michael I've been in several health and wellness type businesses, and I've found that
most of them tell you not to try to sell at all. Instead invite people to attend the
conference calls or online meetings.

I've found the best way to find people who are interested in what you're selling is to
go to specific places where people who are into health hang out. Health and wellness
chatrooms, health and wellness group forums are one way to target them,
but even when you do, it's best NOT to advertise.

Instead, just join the discussions and offer friendly advice, and don't mention specific
products or names of your company. This is taboo in a lot of companies such as
Melaleuca for instance.

Let's say for instance you're discussing how to take care of a cold sore. You have just
the right product for the problem, but you don't want to come out and say the name
of it. Just say. I've found something that works really well, but I would rather have
you email me and I will tell you the name of it and where to get it.

The main thing you want to do in any forum or safelist or anything like that is to
build relationships, then move from there to having them contact you on your phone
or email. Then you can be more specific and let them in on where you're getting all
these great products.

If you advertise like a walking billboard, you'll only alienate people. Have you
noticed that maybe your family members do the side step when you enter the room?

Could they be thinking... Oh no he's going to try to sell us something again!

Just try to relax and let customers come to you.

You'll know when the time is right to say. Ok ..I'd like to show you more, can I call
you? But nobody likes a pushy salesperson. If Avon knocks on the door, they say..
are you busy? Can I interest you in a ...? And if you say no, they move on. It's the
same online Just work on building a list of contacts first. Talk about products, talk
about what they do for you, but let the salespeople do the selling. All you need to do
is get the contacts to bring to the calls.

<Is anyone having any luck getting traffic to your webpage by posting in forums? I
seem to be getting into many forums that don't allow any advertising your webpage.
I am trying to sell Health Products and bring more people into my business. I have
tried yahoo groups but so may people are advertising in there it horrible to stay on
top of all that going on.
Any suggestions?

Hi Michael, re: Posting in Forums
From: Susan

I post in forums and receive quite a bit of traffic to my website as a result of these
postings. I don't advertise my product, I simply share with others information and I
develop relationships with these people. It is time consuming but my goal is to help
others so it's ok. As a result, I do get traffic to my website, and I learn things along
the way because we can learn from everyone.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Michael,

With regard to forum posting, I have found that utilizing AdlandPro's Community
Forums is the best way for marketing your website to a targeted and interested
audience. If you join the Community, you can create and post in forums, invite
friends, and network with other people in the Community.

I must say that AdlandPro is the only place I go to engage in Internet marketing
related conversations. I find that the people are friendly, respectful, and serious
about what they do. And most of them will welcome your ideas and resources you
provide with open arms and an open mind. The best you can do is simply get your
name and website out there, and Adland Pro's Community page is one of the best for
doing precisely that.

Feel free to post at my forum/classifieds http://jgp-distribution.com/classifieds/
Everyone that reads this can post there for that matter. It is huge and has a category
for each and everyone of you! It’s absolutely free you can post all you want but
please do not spam it. Also if you post there please link back to it from your site if
you can, sharing it with others.

As far as your getting results by posting in various discussion forums?
Well discussion forums are just that!! Topic specific and made for discussion of
various topics. They are not for advertising! That is why you are hitting a brick wall.

Your best bet is to build an opt in mailing list. I stress opt in mailing over and over
for personal one on one web marketing. It takes time. Many want it quick. But
getting it quick is not realistic. In time a mailing list will send you leads. If your
ezine is consistent and has great content. But once again a good Ezine takes time and
effort.

Yahoo groups? Well starting your own group and building a membership is about it.
You are trying to reach out and touch people and pitch your products. Seek web sites
that accept articles that fit your theme. Crank out articles about once a week and
submit them. That will bring you a readership and also build your online reputation.

Front page rank in the search engines will bring traffic to your web site. Consider the
super submission servicesright here at Adland Pro!

Re: Making Money Online with Multiple Streams of Income (affiliate income)
From: Franklin Banker

(I read in the last issue with great interest the article "Multiple Income Streams from
Niche Markets", by Fred Farah. I agree with Fred that the term sounds daunting, but
it is really a simple concept. I have written this article about the same subject from
the standpoint of Affiliate Marketing)

I know a lot of people talk about making money online, but many of them have no
concept of exactly how it can be done. I use a process called Affiliate Marketing to
make money online, and I make money each and every day. I do it with
diversification, and I have developed multiple streams of income in this process.

Some folks use eBay to make money. Although I have not used it, I have a friend
who uses eBay to make money by listing rare autos and motor homes and acts as a
middle man using the eBay site, then he collects a commission for his efforts. He
does this all the time, so I guess he could make the claim that in part, he makes his
living online.

I do something much different than that, but I am a middle man in the process. I use
Affiliate Programs and Affiliate Networks to market goods and services online. I sell
things online by way of Content Rich Gateway Marketing Pages, a process I have
been using for a long time. I describe the process at this url:
http://bblmedia.com/make_money_online.html

I specialize in Health, Sports, Shopping and Internet (affiliate) Marketing services.
Within each of those categories are many thousands of Affiliate Programs which I
enroll in for FREE, and then I market the products or services online. I provide the
content by which the Search Engines, when queried by web searchers, throw up my
pages and the searcher clicks my links, and then when they buy, I earn commissions.

There are typically 2 ways to earn money in affiliate marketing; First, by selling
products directly on content pages and small sites. Secondly, by recruiting affiliates
into the 2nd tier and earning overrides from their sales.
Let me give you an example of a Service I offer through both direct sales and 2nd
tier recruit sales. It is called Uncover The Net.

UTN is a cool new directory concept where webmasters must pay a fee to be
included in the directory. When you offer this service on your site and a webmaster
buys a listing through your affiliate link, your earn $10. If you sign up another
internet marketer in the affiliate program in your 2nd tier, you receive a 10%
override on that person's sales too. Hence, if you sell 10 listings in the month and
your sub-affiliates sell 25 listings, you will receive approximately $120 to $150,
depending upon the level of the listings selected.
http://bblmedia.com/addurl.html

If you promote successfully 10 to 20 programs such as UTN, is it possible to earn
$1,500 to $3,000 monthly? Yes it is, definitely! This is not MLM, but it is a process
called 2-Tier Marketing, and this has become the most successful model on the
internet today.

My main website ( www.bblmedia.com ) is a center for affiliate marketing resources.
There I have listed many affiliate programs, affiliate networks, targeted traffic
promotions, free classifieds (including Adland) and other related services. Using my
domain I also create other sites that fit into other categories where direct links to my
home page are not necessary or appropriate. For instance, I have a page describing
the value and content of the Nutrisystem Nourish Weight Loss Program. I don't have
any reason to link this page to my bblmedia index page, but I do have it linked to my
blog, the Women's Health center, my Sports Site, and other related areas where it
applies to the audience.

I have had great success marketing Health Products, especially herbal supplements.
My most productive affiliate partner is a great herbal nutraceutical producer called
Progressive Health. It pays 30% on direct sales and 5% on the tier. They have lots of
great products that people are searching for on the major search engines. Another is
one offered by Global Health Products, with the same percentages, but only 1
product called ANXIUS. The internet is loaded with health related affiliate
programs. These are only 2 examples but they are both excellent programs and the
owners are honest and pay affiliate commissions right on time every month.

It's really a simple process. I place sports related products on my NetSports Pro site,
and I place Retail Gift links on my Shopping Center. I link Health products to my
Women's Health site, and so on and so forth, as appropriate. My Internet Marketing
programs are mostly linked to my main site, with a few exceptions (new stuff I am
experimenting with). I receive payments from different Networks and individual
affiliate programs through Paypal, ACH and by checks in the mail. Overall I receive
20 to 30 different payments every month. It's really fun to do this business. I can't tell
you how enjoyable it is to make money this way.

If working in your own home office excites you, then maybe Affiliate Marketing is
your cup of tea. I love it! There are really no limits in this business. Make as much
money as your ability and ingenuity will allow.

Re: Site Review
From: Monique Bizzell

Wow! I didn't expect the response so quickly, any how, thanks and I have made
changes.

I think it's more focused; the goal is when you think about money think find some
money.

I really want visitors to learn at the money101 site and play around at the main site
with that knowledge.

I can earn money from searches done.

I think it's more focused and better to get around.

If you haven't been to YAHOO of late, there is a contest by Sir Branson of Virgin
Mobile.

Basically he's doing some ala apprentice type of thing.

Submit in 500 words of less why you will bennie from 10 million YAHOO ads and
how your website can be beneficial to the public at large.

I think the FSM is better than from when I requested the review. It still contains a lot
of info, but I think it's easier to get around.

I did spread myself thin and jumped the gun in requesting the review and entering
that contest.

I'm sorry about the lack of targeting an international audience, but it is difficult,
especially when you're dealing with money. I really am not up to par with
international monetary units and have decided to focus on the USD and sites that
theme-in with my theme.

Thanks,

Mb

Who Will Passive Income Work Best For? by Erwin Tjong
===========================================

Passive income is a good idea for almost everybody, but it is an even better idea for
people who do not have a lot of time to spend working at a regular job. In other
words, passive income is a great idea to eliminate debt for students. In fact, if you are
a college student with a lot of debt, creating passive income might be the only way
that you'll be able to get out of debt.

Passive income is best for people who:

-have enough creativity to get passive income going.

-are patient enough to wait and see if it works before giving up.

-who don't have enough time to actively work in order to make all
the money they need.

-who have large debts already (such as a student loan).

As you might guess, most of these describe college students. Therefore, if you're a
college student in debt, then you are one of the best people to be looking toward
creating passive income.

Students are not the only people who should think about creating passive income,
however. If you find that your job is not paying you enough money, but you
definitely don't have enough time to get another job, you should create passive
income.

================JOKE OF THE DAY==================

The Ventriloquist
----------------------

A young ventriloquist is touring the clubs and one night he's doing a show in a small
town called Weipa. With his dummy on his knee, he starts going through his usual
dumb blonde jokes when a blonde woman in the 4th row stands on her chair and
starts shouting: "I've heard enough of your stupid blonde jokes. What makes you
think you can stereotype women that way? What does the colour of a person's hair
have to do with her worth as a human being? It's guys like you who keep women like
me from being respected at work and in the community and from reaching our full
potential as a person. Because you and your kind continue to perpetuate
discrimination against not only blondes, but women in general, and all in the name of
humour!"

The embarrassed ventriloquist begins to apologise, and the blonde yells, "You stay
out of this, mister! I'm talking to that little prick on your knee."
