This can be the way you can make real money on the Internet. Developing your own product isn't difficult but it does take some time. You need to research a niche or market, decide what need is hottest and that you have the knowledge for, write the report, write the ad copy, set up a blog/website/squidoo page and then market the report.If writing isn't your best skill, there are ghostwriters you can hire to write your ebook. The more clearly you explain your project and the more detailed the outline you provide the ghostwriter the more closely the finished product will be to what you envisioned.
Don't think you must stick with the niche of Internet marketing to be successful. Many people use the Internet for research and solving a problem. If your product solves their problem your chances of selling increases.

Products are available in many different types of medium. Say you have experience with getting your cranky baby to sleep quickly and gently. Targeting traffic to your website or blog where you offer your product is how you get sales. If no one knows about our product they can't consider purchasing it. Draw traffic by article marketing, posting on forums, and participating in discussion groups. Set up a blog tour where you provide guest blogs on other people's blog. You get exposure for your product the owner of the blog gets a guest blog post and can get a commission from any sales generated.Selling your own product online requires that you have a method of accepting payment from customers. Merchant accounts require approval and good credit as well as an Internet gateway program.

Clickbank accepts only digital products. There is an initial fee and a percentage of every sale. If you would like others to sell your product on a commission basis Clickbank does make that easier for you. They have a marketplace where products are listed and described for potential affiliates.
And of course PayPal is an alternative for accepting payments. The customer can either use their Paypal account or use their credit card without setting up a PayPal account.Developing your own product is one way to make money online.
