The local transportation is the cheapest way to travel in Vietnam. Bus is the most economical way to go from Hoi An to Da Nang. However, the bus costs economical if you are a solo or small group travelers. Whereas if you are traveling with family then combined fare cost you more. The other problem is the handling of the luggage because families have more luggage. The bus takes longer as compared to the other transportation so it is better to choose according to the time you have. If you are going from Hoi An to Da Nang then the bus station is away from airport from there you need to hire a cab or taxi. However, Da Nang has only the airport shuttle service to visit Hoi an otherwise you have to hire private car or taxi from the airport.

You can get Bus no.1 from the Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoi An at 5:30 am to 5:30pm after every 20 minutes. It takes total 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Da Nang airport in 30,000 VND. There are different busses leave from the bus station of Hoi an for the visit of different attractions of Da Nang.
Hoi An to Da Nang Train Station
There is not train station of Hoi An so to reach the train station for Da Nang airport is not a good decision unless you want to travel by train for fun. The station is connected to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh so you can plan some exploring trip otherwise for the airport it is good for nothing.

Hoi An Express Shuttle Bus Service
The people with lesser and easily manageable luggage can avail this option of traveling by the Hoi An Shuttle bus service. It is very cost effective and an option available until late at night from early in the morning. The bus picks up passengers from their hotels and take them to the airport then drops the passengers to their hotels picked from the airport. This is a popular option and has a lot of pre-bookings so you cannot travel at the last minute. You have to book in advance because the driver has the name slip of every passenger to be picked. It departs from Le Hong Phong and Nguyen Tat Thanh, Hoi an at 5:00 am 11:00 every hour. The bus rent is 140,000 VND and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach the destination. The luggage is limited to maximum 20kg with a small personal bag. The airport has its own bus to travel free between the terminals.
