	All the nocturnal mystery of the Russian forests in this extraordinary masterpiece of Alexei Savrasov. If I was given the possibility to keep one of his works forever, I would probably choose this. Alexei Savrasov - Summer Night (oil on canvas, 1883)

	Finally, I would like to re-post this extraordinary watercolor painted during Savrasov's tour of Switzerland (he was 24 years old at the time!) Note that this reproduction below is definitely better than the one I posted on page 8: the colors are brighter, and the painting itself is a lot livelier. Alexei Savrasov - Mountain Lake. Switzerland (watercolor on paper, 1854)

	Yes Miguel. This is a much brighter and better reproduction and the previous painting is delightfully looser in its treatment. This has been a very interesting and uplifting forum.
