3 Reasons Your Prospects Aren't Buying From
You
By Sandra Martini
You've worked for months to create the perfect ebook. It includes the answer to every possible question your audience could have. You've created a sales page. You even offered a discount and threw in a ton of bonuses.
So why aren't they buying?
Despite what all the "instant gurus" may tell you about how you can generate millions of dollars of sales simply by purchasing their program and doing X, the reality is there's a system to building your business - whether online or offline.
Before you embark on any new business, product or service offering, you must determine:
1. Is there a need?
Is there a group of people who believe they have a need or want which you can fulfill?
Notice the language. . .I did not ask if YOU THINK there's a need. What you think is irrelevant unless you plan on purchasing your own products.
2. Do they know-like-trust you?
Have you built a relationship with the people you are asking to purchase your products and services or do you fly in, offer to sell something and then disappear until the next offer?
Much, MUCH too often, I receive emails which call themselves newsletters, but are nothing more than sales letters which contain NO content (Can we say UNSUBSCRIBE here?). You want to take the time to get to know your prospects and clients.

3. Why are you special? What do you offer your clients and prospects that your competitors do not? What makes you stand out? Many experts say you should share the "what" and the "why", but not the "how" until your prospect purchases something.
I disagree in that it's not authentic to me to do that. If you've been on any of my calls, you know I believe in giving a lot of content - that makes me special from other coaches. I'm a teacher at heart.
What makes YOU special in your industry?
If your prospects aren't buying from you, you're missing at least one of the above three critical components of a successful and profitable client/vendor relationship.
Always remember, in designing your business, regardless of your industry, you have to be constantly aware of what your clients and prospects are searching for even as you build a business to suit your lifestyle.
Your Coaching Challenge
Starting with your business, step outside yourself and ask each of the above three questions from an objective point-of-view. If your business passes, ask the same questions for each product and service you offer/plan to offer.
Once you have the answers, you can confidently move forward.

Internet Marketing
Glossary
By Scott Lindsay
The Internet has facilitated the need for an entirely new glossary that deals with all aspects of an online environment. This includes terms related to online marketing. While this is not a comprehensive list I'd like to take a look at a few terms and try to explain them in lay terms.
SEO - These three letters are the abbreviated form of Search Engine Optimization. This term represents strategies to develop a website using proven methods to enhance your placement in search engines. Since most people begin looking for something by consulting a search engine it makes sense to work to impress the search engines in order to gain improved traffic to your website.
Blogging - This is a tool that allows business owners and individuals to construct a series of thoughts that can be accessed by web users. The content is generally themed and will also have something to do with your business. Most blogs are located on a social media site, but they can also be placed on your primary business site.
Social Media - This is typically used to describe sites that cater to networking objectives of both individuals and businesses. These sites are typically developed to include a variety of tools in one web application. In most cases there may be groups, friends, blogs, photos and applicable links for visitors to peruse.
RSS - Another abbreviation that stands for Real Simple Syndication. This tool allows web users to more easily locate valued material and have it downloaded to a specific software application that lets them access the information they want without the need of an intensive web search.
PPC - Three more letters that represent Pay Per Click. This is an advertising system that lets you target customers with a very specific interest in the keywords selected by the individual purchasing the ad. These ads show up on sites across the web and can improve your total number of site visitors. Sites that host these ads do so because they receive revenue from every ad 'click' generated from their site.
Forums - These are essentially mini town hall meetings. Visitors to a forum can voice opinions and read the opinions of others. In many cases individuals can and do use forums to share information about their businesses. This often happens in a location of a member's 'control panel' called the signature line.
Autoresponders - This tool can allow a more streamlined approach to post purchase marketing, When a customer completes a transaction online autoresponder software allows an immediate reply alerting them that the transaction has been accepted. Autoresponders can also allow you to send additional marketing information and ezines.
Ezines - This is an online version of a magazine. It has many of the same departments you would expect from a magazine and it can be a potent tool in marketing the general ideas and themes of your business.
Hopefully this little list of online marketing terms may help you grasp the potential in online business. I also hope it encourages you to look a little deeper into each of these marketing techniques to leverage improved online performance.

Common Technical Questions
I've looked at my Impressions and Traffic Exchange Stats,
what are views, hits and CTR %, how do my credits apply to
this?
Views are every time your ad is displayed either in the
Traffic Exchange or as a Banner or Text ad on our web
pages it uses one credit. The view of the ad or banner
is situated in a way that the viewer provided they are
viewing in a normal or standard monitor version (not
oversized view) will see the ad without having to scroll
to see it.
A hit is when someone clicks on your Ad or Banner which
will open up your web site or automatically open their
email program and populate it with your email address.
CTR % is the Click Through Rate, which is the number of
times an ad or banner is clicked on compared to Views.
As an example 100 views and 1 hit, would give you a CTR
of 1.00 meaning your ad has a click thru rate of 1 out
of 100 views. A good measure or standard to look for is
0.20%, anything over that is probably giving you some
leads, less than 0.20% and you should consider editing
the ad or changing the banner.

notifications or if we can help in anyway please
