It is also effective in handling the casing string above the water level of wells during drilling operations for connecting with surface equipment. Additionally, it’s best to remove the drill pipe from the well, hang off the new drill pipe into the hole, and adjust or remove slips or chokes if needed before landing the drill pipe into the cased hole.
