Evaluations are not only conducted after a DUI arrest. They can also be done for people who are arrested for other crimes and need to prove that they are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The person will be evaluated by a professional who is certified to do this. The evaluator will ask the person questions, perform some tests and give a diagnosis of their mental and physical condition. The evaluation usually takes around an hour, but it can take longer depending on the circumstances.

DUI evaluation is a type of test that is conducted by the police officer. The purpose of this evaluation is to determine whether or not the driver is impaired due to alcohol and/or drugs.
