A possible component of the 4- to 5-year full-time BDS Prosthodontics Course is an internship programme. The area of dentistry known as prosthodontics deals with the creation, production, and replacement of missing teeth with artificial teeth as well as other oral structures. A prosthesis (bridges, crowns, dentures), which can be fixed or removable or may be supported and maintained by implants, may replace lost teeth and the accompanying soft and hard structures.
