The Indian government, in a notification in 2021, had declared the Maldives a visa-free nation, i.e., the citizens of Maldives would not require a visa to India for medical treatments, tourism, and business purposes. There is no need for a medical visa from Maldives to India if their stay in India is less than 90 days in the preceding six months. The y will have to fill an immigration form which the person can either get at the immigration counter or online.
