He spent time in taking clinical classes for undergraduate students and also had a keen interest in surgical debates and secured first prize in the intrastate intercollegiate post-graduate Debate competition. By the time he completed his MS (General Surgery) in 2013, he was envisioned to join as a Senior Registrar at AIIMS Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre, New Delhi. He continued to impress with his innovative ideas and one such novel technique was rewarded with a prize-winning effort at the International Trauma Con 2013.
