Is Your Child Experiencing Homelessness? We Can Help! Project HOPE-Virginia is here to ensure homeless children and youth in Virginia have access to a stable and successful education. We work with schools across the state to support students facing homelessness, like those living in shelters, motels, or doubled-up with family due to hardship.

What We Do:

Enrollment & Attendance

Provide Resources and Programs to Help Students
Support Services like Tutoring, Mentoring, and Transportation Assistance.
Under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, homeless students have the right to attend their school of origin (the school they attended before becoming homeless) or the school in their current area. We can help navigate enrollment and ensure a smooth transition.
