What is the Express Entry Draw?

The Express Entry Draw is an essential part of Canada’s immigration system, designed to select skilled workers from around the world for permanent residency. This draw works through the Express Entry system, which manages applications for three main immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
During each draw, the Canadian government issues Invitations to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency to candidates with the highest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores.
