SMD springs use their elastic properties to achieve functions such as electrical connection and mechanical support. When subjected to external force, the main body of the spring deforms elastically, allowing the connecting pins (or pads) to maintain close contact with the corresponding contacts on the circuit board. This close contact ensures smooth conduction of current or stable transmission of signals. When the external force disappears, the spring returns to its original state and waits for the next working cycle. For example, in battery connection applications, when the battery is inserted into the device, the SMD spring is compressed to maintain good contact with the battery electrodes and the circuit board, enabling the battery to power the device.
