There are over 60 BJMC colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Of these, 53 are privately held, two are run in collaboration with the private sector, and four are controlled by the government. After completing Class 12, students can apply for admission to BJMC. Private BJMC colleges in Lucknow also administer their own BJMC entrance exam for admission to BJMC courses, even though the majority of BJMC colleges accept national or state-level entrance exams like the CUET and IPU CET.
