According to Barangay Captain Joel Labandero, the first structure, known as the AICS Building, will serve as the office of the Lupon Tagapamayapa. This designated space is expected to streamline the settlement of disputes within Barangay Mahayahay. “Aduna na sila’y kaugalingon nga opisina para diha sila maghusay sa mga bangi nga gipasa sa Barangay Mahayahay,” said Captain Labandero. He further emphasized that having a dedicated office will contribute to a more efficient and professional handling of barangay disputes, ultimately leading to a more harmonious community.
The second structure, a newly built Day Care Center, is set to significantly benefit both children and parents within the barangay. Previously, the old day care facility was prone to flooding, causing damage to school supplies and inconveniencing students. “Sa una, taga-adunay gamay nga baha, masudlan og tubig, dayun mangadamaged ang mga kabtangan sa Day Care Center, diin luoy kaayo ang atong mga kabataan nga nangiskwela. The improved infrastructure ensures a safe and conducive learning environment, alleviating parents’ concerns and providing children with a stable foundation for early education.
