One of the traditional treks in Asia is the three-day, clockwise Kailash Trekking. Even though it's not particularly strenuous, it takes you to high altitudes and reaches its highest point at the Drölma-La pass, which is 5650 meters above sea level. The days are short, and you can hire porters or yaks from the area to carry your belongings.
