Open Cabling Registration Now Open at Milcom Institute

The Open Cabling Registration is a mandatory qualification issued under the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) rules. It allows technicians to legally install and maintain telecommunications cabling in commercial and domestic settings.
Once you’ve earned this registration through Milcom, you’ll be qualified to:
Install, maintain, and repair telephony and data networks
Work in residential and commercial properties
Set up multiple telephone lines and structured cabling systems
Undertake further endorsements (Structured, Fibre, Coaxial, etc.)
