After the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir, demolition work was carried out today on illegal structures in Chandola area of Ahmedabad. An application was filed in the High Court by 18 petitioners regarding this work. An urgent hearing was held today. In this hearing, the petitioners submitted that it is inappropriate to take action without taking steps under the Foreigners Act. The state government opposed this petition. After that, the High Court did not stay the petition of the petitioners and dismissed the petition. So now the demolition work in Chandola will continue.
