Ground staff have an essential part in maintaining efficient airport operations while also providing excellent client service to travellers. The duties they have begin long before an aircraft takes off and continue after it lands. Key roles include assisting with check-in procedures, dealing with suitcases, client boarding and disembarking, and providing flight schedule and delay statistics. Ground workers collaborate with airline crews, security, and maintenance teams to ensure that safety precautions are taken. They could be allocated to the reception area, boarding gates, the tarmac, suitcase collecting, or anywhere else. In that role, you must be able to talk properly, be polite to consumers, and maintain your cool under pressure.
