Friendship 2025 really surprised me. At first, I thought it was just another comedy, but it turned out to be deeper than I expected. The story follows Craig, a man who is very lonely and just wants someone to talk to. When a new neighbor, Austin, moves in, Craig becomes excited and tries to build a friendship. But things get strange quickly.
The movie does a great job of mixing funny and awkward moments with real emotions. I felt sorry for Craig even when he acted weird or went too far. His need for connection felt real. Tim Robinson plays the role perfectly—he makes you laugh but also makes you feel sad for him. Paul Rudd is great as Austin, the friendly neighbor who slowly starts to worry about Craig’s behavior.
What I liked most is how honest the movie is. It shows how some adults struggle with making friends, even when they try their best. The humor is smart but also a little dark, which I really enjoyed.
If you want a movie that’s both funny and emotional, I highly recommend Friendship. You can stream it now on FlixHQ.
