Job Overview:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Purchase Head to lead procurement operations in our growing manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will manage vendor negotiations, inventory planning, and strategic sourcing for timely, cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, tools, and machinery
Identify reliable vendors and maintain long-term vendor relationships
Negotiate prices, contracts, credit terms, and delivery timelines
Ensure zero-delay in material availability to production & stores
Manage purchase orders, inward logistics, and documentation
Collaborate with departments like Production, QA, Finance & Stores
Monitor market trends and bring cost-saving opportunities
Track purchase KPIs, budget, and monthly MIS reports
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Commerce (MBA preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement
Strong knowledge of materials, vendor evaluation, and cost negotiation
Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
