Sue Lynn Wood lives with her spouse and their cherished pet, Ruffy, in Valdez, Alaska. She was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in Clark County, Washington. The pair moved to Valdez in 1999, drawn by their love of Alaska. Under the alias "Sue Lynn Wood," she pays tribute to three generations of ladies in her maternal family. She currently works for the local electric utility full-time as a proud member of IBEW 1547, and she plans to retire next year.
