I’ve been in and out of the Food and Beverage industry since I was 12 years old.
I’ve always loved everything about the kitchen
--The aroma, the activity, the prep, the creating, the cooking, the joy of sharing a meal around the table
But loving something doesn’t always mean it loves you back
In 2017, I was injured and lost my job as a Chef.
My Dream? Crushed!
But I wasn’t ready to give up.
So, I started a YouTube Channel called Kitchen Counseling-doing cooking shows.
It was FUN…but I had no idea how to grow it.
I KNEW food…not marketing.
I also started a catering company and did really well – until COVID hit in 2020.
And like so many others, I had to shut the doors.
The years that followed were some of the hardest.
• Living paycheck to paycheck
• Choosing between gas for the car to get to work or groceries for the family
• Missing holidays. Missing time with my family
And the worst part?
Even though I LOVED cooking, I didn’t have the energy – or the money – to enjoy it anymore.
But then everything changed. I decided to stop trying to control my destiny and finally have enough faith in God to allow myself to be led. I truly stopped walking in a parallel line with God and started walking hand in hand with him. He has guided me to challenge my thinking and open my heart for a larger perspective.
My path has challenged me personally, however, it has also been the most rewarding. My vision is to bring peace to the world through my love language of food. This has been a year long process of personal development starting with the development of a simple online business to reclaim my time to develop further my global vision of using food and social connection to bring a level of peace to the world that has slowly slipped through our grasp.
The business is simple and the community support with the 55,000 other business owners is the blessing for success.
