An Investment to Last a Lifetime
Paul Sabourin co-founded Polar Asset Management Partners in 1991, with a career that began in the finance sector back in 1982 at Burns Fry Ltd. By 1987, he had ascended to Director and Executive Committee member, gaining extensive experience in institutional equity trading
From there, he helped launch Polar, where he now holds dual roles as Chairman and Co-Chief Investment Officer, steering investment strategy and management at Canada’s leading hedge fund
Bridging Business and Community
Beyond investment success, Paul brings his strategic outlook to philanthropic leadership. In June 2023, he became Board Chair of Trillium Health Partners Foundation, after serving as Vice-Chair since 2022, having joined the foundation board in 2016
