Before rising to the helm of THP, Karli Farrow built her career in healthcare consulting, specializing in reducing wait times and refining chronic disease management systems. Her expertise extended into government at a high level—serving as Director of Policy to the Premier of Ontario and Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. In these critical roles, she shaped systemic reforms aimed at bolstering care accessibility and the long-term sustainability of Ontario’s healthcare system
Karli joined THP in 2009, just before the 2011 merger of Credit Valley Hospital and Trillium Health Centre, which formed the foundation of today’s integrated system
Since then, she has led THP with unwavering clarity—fostering innovative engagement processes and community partnerships to drive THP’s mission of delivering “a new kind of health care for a healthier community.” Her leadership extends to roles on the Board of Trustees of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES)

The Trillium Health Partners Foundation (THPF) is the fundraising powerhouse behind THP’s transformative projects—ensuring communities benefit from cutting-edge healthcare solutions
From much-needed capital equipment like advanced MRI machines to mental health initiatives and clinical research, THPF’s impact fuels tangible improvements across the THP network.
In fiscal year 2023, THPF facilitated the acquisition of a 3T MRI (cutting imaging time by 50%) and HyperArc radiosurgery technology—vastly improving treatment efficiency and patient comfort
