Love Letters to a Virgo by Timothy Warren Taylor

Hello, Everyone

Timothy Warren Taylor and his first book of poetry,

"Love Letters to a Virgo"

Is about an interracial fling that I had with a very beautiful white woman during the pandemic. It started with a dream about her and has lead into what I believe will be a life long friendship. Under normal circumstances I would have never approached her, out of fear of rejection or perhaps sheer embarrassment but with a world wide pandemic going on I felt as though I had nothing left to lose. The pandemic had a huge hand in it because throughout all the isolation and uncertainty we saw each other every day as essential workers. Anyway at some point in the dream she told me to tell her about my crush and to write a poem about her. And till this day I still don't know if her dream state persona was really just a figment of my imagination or my subconscious mind trying to tell me something. All I know is that when I did, tell her, she was so flattered that she let me write an entire book about her. And within it, it tells our story as it happened in real-time and written like there would be no tomorrow. In fact till this day I still remember how nervous I was about the erotic parts of the dream and how when I finally showed her she absolutely loved it.

The title is a little niche because she's a Virgo but it's not about a zodiac sign as much as it's about a man opening up his heart to a woman, having to keep it a secret from our workplace because of the interracial component and finding the courage to overcome my fears. This book is about my first interracial relationship, her first, and the lasting impression we made on each other.
