I'm 66 yo, native Houstonian, have myasthenia gravis, B.A. degree, getting back on track after going through hell (homeless, hospitals, nursing homes,...) since '23. Lost my mom also & now need a place of my own ASAP. I was advised by SS to get a place of my own, possibly a condo/travel trailer/camper/mobile home, etc. so I wouldn't jeopardize my SSI. My current income is enough to pay my storage unit bill & a cheap rent. I’m quiet, pay my bills on time, have pretty good credit, and can provide references. I can make payments (~500/mo), barter for services (press releases, sales & marketing materials, income taxes, web design, etc.), or give a receipt showing your charitable donation (gets you a deduction on your tax return!)
