Welcome to one of the oldest learning centre of India. Yes, Madhya Pradesh is considered as one of the oldest learning centre of India having a systematic and well organized education sector. Currently the state has two (2) central universities and (16) sixteen state universities, (1) one private university; (3)three deemed universities, and three top levels of national Institutions. The three top level of national Institutions are IIT (Indian institute of Technology), Indian institute of Management (IIM), National Institute of Technology (NIT). By 2011 nearly (15) fifteen universities have been recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission) implicating Madhya Pradesh status in education sector. The state has attracted thousands of students outside state for higher education setting a landmark at Central India.
